Having just had 4 fantastic days in Sitges we found this Hotels location perfect for what wanted, IE

Firstly we must say thank you to the hotel for moving our dates 3 times due to covid to Covid and Easy Jet cancelling flights.

The Hotel is situated 10 mins from the Station and literally 30 seconds from the amazing Sitges beaches.
You are smack bang in the centre of a vibrant lively town with shops and restaurants in abundance.

The thing we found most disappointing was the attitude of the desk team. We personally think that when you exit and enter a hotel there should be a basic greeting or even a smile, but when eye contact is made it should be a definite. The only person who did this was the lady on the desk and the housekeeping team.
When we are on holiday we try and get immerse ourselves in the culture as much as possible and the hotel can play a huge part in that but we felt they were quite unapproachable for that initial first encounter.

We stayed in room 221 which had a street view and a sea view from the balcony.
This side of the hotel is very noisy, from the people
partying, which can calm down around 3am to the commencement of the the street cleaning and morning deliveries. Fortunately the room had air con but the closed doors merely rescued the noise slightly. If your early to bed person you may struggle. Didn’t bother us to much.

The rooms were clean, looked like they’d had a lick of paint but the finish was not great, particularly the bathroom where in this room the the toilet was loose and moved, and the shower leaked badly to the point we needed to mop the floor after each shower. The basic cleanliness in the shower Around the grouting etc needed to be better. Each evening there was also a strong smell of drains in to room which was a little off putting and knowing Spain as we do it can happen, it’s just not very nice.
The bed area was clean and the team made the beds and changed the towels daily.

We would have rated this hotel as very good, particularly for the price, if the bathroom and basic customer service was better.

Our review is based on fact and is in no way intended to be defamatory. If asked if we would stay again, we definitely would purely on location and cost but if the hotel want a very good review the service and bathrooms need to be better and it really shouldn’t need us to tell the hotel the bathroom was dirty and the shower leaked.

Hotel Subur has a terrific location and the rooms are clean, comfortable beds and a Superior Seaview is a great option for a room! It is all you need, really most staff is friendly. Book the room, skip the breakfast, its a chaotic and not necessarily a clean option. It would be nice to know the table is wiped off before placing silverware and napkins. I witnessed at least 3 tables being turned without cleaning. Not COVID protocol. Disappointed. There are plenty of places to grab a quick breakfast and a good Coffee in the morning!

Went with my partner for a week's holiday and booked a room with a balcony view of the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay and the breakfast was varied and tasteful, although they seemed to be short of staff, for the buffet wasn't refilled regularly. The room was correct, we could have done with small items like glasses or a bit more hangers. My partner and I lived in Sitges for over a decade and have always admired the perfect location of the Hotel Subur in Sitges. Returning now as “tourists” to a town in which we used to call
home it was the perfect opportunity to try out the Subur for ourselves. And… it EXCEEDED every expectation.

We booked close to our arrival date and found the price compared to other accommodations in Sitges very reasonable. We booked a standard double bed room with balcony and were traveling with our dog. There is no extra charge to bring your pet- the hotel just asks that it behaves respectfully in consideration of other hotel guests.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very kind representative at the front desk. He was friendly and welcoming and made the check in process quick and efficient. We were just explained how to sign into the wifi and even given a cute amenity kit for our dog.

The room was immaculately clean and well laid out. There was space designated for our luggage , a safe for laptops and all valuables, a refrigerator, bottled water, and a balcony with two chairs and a table and plenty of room to enjoy our side view of the sea.

The flat screen tv and air conditioning were in perfect working order and the bed linens, pillows, and towels were all of high quality and like new. The maid service was outstanding and flexible to our schedule.

We were on the second floor and didn’t have any issues with street noise even though it was Eurovision weekend and the bars were packed!

The hotel was even able to accommodate a late check out for us. We truly enjoyed EVERYTHING about our stay here. And truly appreciate the true Sitgetan hospitality of the staff and look forward to spending more time in this hotel in the future!

We were due to stay here in June but were unable to travel. However as promised the hotel kept our money and gave us credit on a future stay. We stayed here on two separate occasions in July. The first stay was one night in a double sea view room with balcony. Great sized room and the balcony and beachfront views were amazing. Great to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, with the cool sea breeze and people watching. Check in was quick and easy and staff friendly and helpful. the room was great and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom and shower was a good size. The room slightly tired in places but in general it was a very good stay and would be happy to stay in the same room again. There is a parking spot just by hotel entrance which we didn't realise until we left. You can stop here and unload your bags in entrance and then park your car. The car park about 80meters up the road was convenient but quite pricy, 26 euros for about 18 hours. We then had to lug all our bags from the car park to the hotel in the heat which was hard, especially wearing a face mask. When we checked out we left our bags in reception then went to get the car and pulled into the hotel space which was much easier. Our second stay was for two nights in a superior sea view room with wrap around balcony on the 4th floor. The bed was really big ands pretty much two doubles pushed together. the room had three double terrace doors opening onto the wrap around balcony so no need for air con, just have all the doors open and feel the constant see breeze and hear the waves crashing at night. perfect. Fridge in the room which is great and lots of space to hang clothes etc. The location is just perfect, right on the beach and a short walk to anywhere you want to go. The bar/restaurant downstairs is also great, good food, great staff and service.Didn't experience any noise issues as some other reviews have suggested, but that's our experience. All in all we had a great time and can't wait to go back, would stay here for sure.

The room was spacious enough. Nice sea view and balcony. Clean. Bathroom could be improved (shower leaked on the floor). The rooms are terribly sound-proofed, and from above there was a lot of noise and from the room next door (noisy family playing with a young child and throwing stuff around on the floor/shouting).

As a solo, queer, indigenous traveler I am always a little nervous about the reception I will get. This hotel was amazing as a welcoming and kind host in Sitges. From an early check in to holding my bags after check out so I could meander the Sunday market and watch the rally car race, this hotel offered phenomenal customer service with professionalism, kindness, and care! Every single staff member I encountered was so friendly and helpful. They offer a great 10% off discount at local restaurants, have an extensive breakfast buffet, and had answers to my questions about navigating the trains for a day trip to Barcelona. The location is so convenient to local sites and right across the road from the beach with beach towel rentals if you happen to need one. The large bed was perfectly supportive and the pillows soft and comfy. Excellent hot water pressure in the shower, stable WiFi in the room, and light blocking curtains if you need to catch a daytime nap. Considering it is near some bars, I was surprised how quiet it was at night. Would only suggest offering some gluten free/dairy free options for breakfast. But otherwise it is a perfect place to stay. Will definitely return here if ever I make my way back to Sitges.

Well first of all, when you enter a hotel you expect to meet someone smiling, someone willing to make your day a little bit better. In this hotel you meet 2 people almost unable and in some cases unwilling to help or even smile at you.
The hotel room is in extreme bad shape, there is dust everywhere and nothing is really cleaned, the floor and bed are the only things taken care of everyday. But the floor is not cleaned just dust removed.
The breakfast if you can call it that is literally the worst thing I have tried to eat my entire life. The bread, cereal, bacon or anything else for that matter was so dry you wasn't really sure what day it was made on. Yoghurt aren't supposed to be hot and when you poor yourself coffee you would expect something a bit more tasty than what you can grow in your own garden at home... This hotel is probably fine for people living in the streets if Spain, but for tourist this is a nightmare, and i would really do some big changes around there so others don't have to go through the same. And for last, when someone orders a taxi, don't use the most shady company you can find l, our "taxi" wasn't even a taxi...

About your comments, you have stayed 14 days at our hotel with red flag in your room, it means do not disturb, then is impossible to clean the room. Despite of it, every day our staff brings to you clean towels. About the breakfast is just your opinion. A lot of guest love it. The hotel is a 3 stars hotel, well located, confortable but basic rooms and with all the services for 3 star hotel. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, probably you should book it. Last thing, taxi, in Sitges there is only one company of taxis and it's service and cars are very good quality. We were very disappointed in this hotel overall. The Room was so small and we were under the impression that we had booked a balcony room. The reception staff was so unhelpful and dismissive when we asked and we did not feel valued as customers. The Location can’t be faulted but it’s such a shame that such an old and run down hotel is in such a great location. The cleaners do a good job but the amenities are out of date and everything feels like it needs updating. The bed was small but comfy. There was just absolutely no space in the room and we ended up spending as little time in there as possible. Hugely disappointing overall.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed during the Santa Tecla celebrations which meant that on the morning after the main parade we had to endure an hour of fireworks and drumming from 7:30am in the street outside for the children's parade, but this is the price to pay for the convenient location. the normal day-to-day street noise wasn't an issue.

Tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms would be a welcome addition.

Dear Dale, Attic and penthouse rooms are the same. All of them has terrace but not all of them has a sea view. If you like with sea view, you can request it through expedia web site, we will try to do our best but unfortunatelly we can't confirm it, until the check in date. Best regards.

Dear Ann, The Hotel Subur doesn't have parking, but 100 meters away from the hotel on the same street, you will find it one. If you like, just in front of the main entrance to the hotel, there is a place available for the guest, just to stop for a while and leave the bags into the hotel.
