Lovel boutique hotel. You cannot beat the location for the price you pay. Its very central and right by La Rambla and Liceu train station & near Market de la Boqueria. You can easily walk to so many parts of Barcelona including the beach area.

Stayed in the Single Room. Yes the room is not that big but it was exactly what I expected. FYI if you choose a single room you get single room stuff so dont be expecting the size of a double room, ummm no. It was ideal for me as I was out all day. I travelled solo and felt safe walking to and fro at night because Barcelona always has a lot of people/tourist out and about.

Staff were friendly and kept my bags for me after I checked out. There are so so many restaurants & cafes within walking distance, you will be spoilt for choice. I had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it

Fantastic location for a budget stay, depending on how early you book. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were comfortable with private bathrooms and the rooms at the rear of the hotel have their own private terraces to sit out on.
Rooms had air conditioning too which was good.

Myself and my close personal friends stayed here for 3 nights in March.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the facilities were great. Absolutely zero issues with the room.

The only issue with the Hotel is that the main door to get into the building is locked by a key, a key which only the employee on reception has access to.

This means that when the employee who should be on reception is not there, you cannot leave or enter the building.

I was locked out of the building for a solid 45 minutes in the middle of the afternoon. I rang the buzzer multiple times to gain entry to the building but no one came for 45 minutes. There was also a gentleman who wanted to leave the building, he was stuck.

The employee who should have been on reception left a printed note on the main door stating they would ‘Be back in one minute’, this was not the case.

There are two reasons the reception was left unattended for so long,

1- The person who was meant to be on reception was taking an extremely large dump.

2- They were cracking one off in the back.

This needs to be addressed ASAP as this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.

The location was perfect, right in the mix of the bars, shops and restaurants.

I went to the Barcelona Football match on the Sunday, I was very excited to finally see Adama Traore play.

After being assured he would play, Xavi did not give him a place in the starting Eleven nor bring him on as a substitute leaving me extremely disappointed.

I can only assume that the management of Hotel Ingles influenced Xavi to not let Adam Traore play in the match, and I think whoever influenced Xavi’s decision should make themselves known and held to account.

There were a few scallywags who thought it would be funny to throw crisps at people out their hotel room window, this was not funny.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ingles and would stay here again.

if your looking for a room with beds, shower, safe and air con then this is perfect for you central for anywhere you want in the area and 200 metres from the local metro. There is a lovely steakhouse next door highly recommend .

Also if you are using the metro to get to the airport , then you will have to pay for a seperate card to get through the last gate

Reason i put loud for the noise question due to no fault of hotel but there was roadworks being done at 9 in morning

Awesome little hotel! Brilliant location for sightseeing base. Short walk to the harbour and lots of other places of interest. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Clean tidy rooms, comfy beds. Just fab! Tip - ask for room at the back - means no view but very quiet.

Stayed three nights in a room on the 4th floor. Small room, one of the most compact shower stalls I've seen in Europe. Wifi on the 4th floor was spotty. As others have said, best thing about the Ingles is the location, just steps from La Rambla and the Liceu Metro station.

I made the unfortunate mistake of booking this hotel. The location is great, sure but the communication with the staff is very poor, they like to play games with their guests and they are outright uncomfortable to be around. There’s nothing redeeming about this place other than location. If you have a second option that is even 40% to 50% more expensive than this place per night, book it. This place is a vacation ruiner.

We just spent 3 nights here. Good location and nice and clean. Very small room but had everything you needed. Cleaned every day. Lovely restaurant next door.....would recommend the lamb.

HOWEVER barely slept a wink as at about 2am every night someone would come to replace all the dirty linens which happened to be stored on the 3rd floor. The noise of them dragging the cages about and literally THROWING the heavy bags of dirty linen in to the lift (which was the other side of our wall) was unbelievable. Went on for about 30/40 mins each night. Never heard noise like it. At first it was quite scary until we worked out what it was. Honestly thought someone was ransacking the hotel! Do NOT accept room 303 or 304.

My family and I stayed here for three nights during our time in Barcelona. The location was perfect. It's very close to the Liceu metro station with easy access to the rest of the city. It's also walking-distance to many top attractions in the general vicinity, including the Palau Guell, Las Ramblas, the Cathedral, and several museums. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. We had a triple room with three single beds. My mother is older and needed to use the elevator, which was very convenient.

Had a 2 night stay here, and was greeted by a lovely lady on reception. The room was clean and had a lovely bathroom. For the price we paid I was more than happy with the room, we had a small balcony, although there are no tea/coffee facilities there are more than enough places to buy from. Really close to Las Rambla, the Boqueria Market, would definitely stay here again.

Hello! Just checked from photos i took from our room and there was not tea/coffe kettle, also the lobby is tiny so probably not there also. Of course there is restaurants near hotel. But i do recommend to you Hotel Canton near by about 500m away, this is cheaper, better hotel and they have tea kettle in room.

Hi Sahar, We took the Aerobus to Pls De Catalunya (the last stop) and waled down Las Ramblas. It took 10 minutes with two large suitcases. We decided it would be quicker and easier that using the Metro and much cheaper than a cab. Hope this helps,. Bon Voyage
