Our recent renovated, common area, is open 24 hours and has 6 computers with free unlimited internet connection and Wi-Fi, a kitchen (oven/microwave/fridge), a chill-out zone, TV, music to relax solo or with friends. We offer vouchers for free chips and free pie. To continue the long night, we organize big parties where everyone gets to know each other and get to experience the most famous clubs in Barcelona!!

Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
My friend and I stayed here and had a good experience! Only downsides is that it definitely is less of a youth hostel - many older adults. Also a man accidentally got placed in our all female room, and reception switched him out immediately after we let them know but it was a bit alarming at first. Otherwise I loved it and it’s in a great location, felt super safe for two girls traveling alone.

It was my first time in Barcelona and I was first placed at a room with 8 bunk beds. One of the staff woke me up early in the morning saying that he found my wallet out in the hallway. I checked and saw that all of my cash was gone (hence, always put your valuables inside the locked storage!). The staff said that other no one else has access to our rooms except the designated guest themselves, so it was defeinistely one of my roommates who stole my money.
Overall, the management was good because the staff relocated me to another room the following evening after learning that I got pickpocketed in my own room. The new room was where I met trustworthy and fun roommates (we all went to the pyro musical at Plaza Expanya the following evening). The breakfast was okay, but the laundry was a bit expensive (10 euros for both washer and dryer). The staff was very accommodating, and I was glad to have spoken to another Filipino staff who gave me safety advise in Barcelona. .

Good price for basic accommodation with good amenities. Shower room was a little like something you might find in a prison but that didn't bother us (mum with 10yr old and 12yr old). Location is amazing. Highly recommend for this reason.

I was extremely disappointed in my stay here. On our first night, my friend was getting ready at the sink and was slightly leaning against the sink when the whole thing came crashing down. This was due to proper installation and one of us could have easily been injured. We went to tell the front desk who said we would talk to management before receiving a charge, but 10 minutes later my card got charged. I tried to contact management numerous times and never got a response. We also had a maintenance worker walk into our room unannounced at 9am, while there were 5 girls asleep in our room which were very uncomfortable with. These experiences overall really negatively effected our weekend and the rest of our stay here.

Staying at the Sun and Moon was a nice surprise. On a budget, it was wonderful to find a clean, orderly and spacious room. We were very pleased. The price was right! There is a common area for eating or preparing your own meal. Breakfast is available for a fee.

Stayed here for a few nights with my partner while we were moving apartment. The room was spacious and clean and the staff couldn’t have done anything more for us they were great. Nice communal area to use kettle/fridge or sit down to have a bite to eat

I loved it here! We stayed for 3 nights in a shared room of 8 people and everything was perfect. The staff was amazing, we got the breakfast deal and it was buffet style, and we went to the welcome meeting of the hostel on friday and saturday, we had a blast. I totally recommend it!!

Good accommodation for a very good price. Microwave and some other kitchen stuff to prepare a meal. Clean rooms. I’ll be back. Very close to the main train station. In the middle of Barcelona. Good accommodation for a very good price.

Stayed in Sun & Moon hostel few occasions . Its centrally located place helps me to get around anywhere I want. Kind staff, they speak different languages and always ready to help. Breakfast is also quite good for the price and cleanliness all around!

The most dirty hotel in my life. After changing 3 rooms with the receptionist we still find dirty beds. All beds are not clean and they don’t wash the beds. In all beds we found hair, things from the nose and eyelashes. In all 3 beds different things ! Used and dirty. I changed the hotel before sleep. Still didn't get my money back!
