Most impressively unpretentious, luxurious hotel in Barcelona! If you appreciate beautiful aesthetics and interior design, along with ultimate service and comfort, look no further. Honoring the late architect, Sagnier, his presence if felt. Striking black painted walls, crisp whites, lovely velvets and textured wools will envelope you. Modern, yet eclectic. Perfectly located for those who want to be in the heart of the city. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Rooms are large and amenities are well done. (shower, dental, nails, hair dryer, swaps, etc) The breakfast each morning from 0700-1100 was complete; fresh, abundant tastes of Spain. 10+/10- fruits, cereals, toasts, salmon, meats, cheeses, berries, yogurts, pastries, juices, coffee and teas - all beautifully presented. The bar/cafe side of first floor is fabulous as well for visiting or drinks. The feeling of the hotel is modest luxury. It is very comfortable, chic and romantic. Look no further!

We have stayed for four nights and are very impressed. The balcony off of our room has a beautiful view of the Rambla de Catalunya, with many shops and restaurants to choose from. The hotel is 1/2 block from the Diagonal metro station. Breakfast is of outstanding quality and presentation. The hotel helped us with restaurant recommendations. The mini bar is stocked with complimentary beverages, which are refilled promptly upon request. 24-hour room service is available. The hotel sits on a lively street, but the windows keep street noise to a minimum. Our room was well insulated from sounds from adjoining rooms. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a glass elevator, artwork, and rich materials. The neighborhood is close to the action but removed from the tourist-heavy downtown areas. Gaudi houses are a few blocks away and the Sagrada Familia is two stops on the metro away. I highly recommend staying here.

Without hesitation, this was a five-star experience, from the wonderful location, to the comfortable, first-rate accommodations, the treat breakfasts and most especially, the outstanding responsiveness in arranging for pickups, guides, tickets to Sagrada Famila, dinner reservations and so on.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this beautiful city. We look forward to returning.

If you want to experience the true Barcelona you couldn’t go to a better hotel. It is situated in the middle of the city 10 minutes walk to Plaza Catalonia, right in middle of the best tapas bars, restaurants and shops.
It’s decoration makes you feel you are in a private home:cozy, beautiful (a mix of modern and art-decor) and comfortable. The service is excellent and rooms are quiet despite being in the buzzing center of the City.
The menu is short but the food is really yummy!!
I highly recommend staying in this architectural jewel!!

The woman working the outside seating area was extremely rude and condescending. My partner and I were made to feel very uncomfortable in our setting, not what you expect when you pay the prices this bar gives. We notified this behaviour towards many other couples

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we decided on this hotel because of the boutique intimate charm it has. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff have us great recommendations in the city and also booked a flamenco show for us. The bottom level has a nice restaurant cafe and it was pretty busy every night of our stay. We had breakfast one morning- we had the buffet and it was delicious. The service overall was amazing! Our room was cozy and very clean. We loved how comfortable it was- it was just the right amount of space.

My husband and I traveled to Barcelona for our 20 year anniversary. We decided to stay in an upscale hotel. First and foremost i was disappointed to find a past guests medications in a clothing drawer. I was also disappointed in the amount of dust in the room , also the shower door did not stay closed you had to wedge a towel to keep it closed also the towel rack in the shower had rust all on the bottom of the racks. For a 5* hotel I would expect better. The staff were nice and we felt secure in the hotel as you needed your room key to get in and operate elevator. Superior w/ terrace.

Ok I do not believe there is a better hotel for Americans to stay than Casa Sagnier! The staff was extremely helpful in everything from getting us cabs, restaurant accommodations, to suggestion on sites to visit. I went with my wife for work and a few extra days to visit, I do not speak Catalin or Spanish so it was quite intimidating. Roberto and staff at the front desk helped us with everything! I'm kind of a bougie bit%$ when it comes to dining and accommodations. The restaurants in the ally next to the hotel and the hotels restaurants are great! We were supposed to switch to Catalonia Square and after we visited the area decided to stay at Casa Sagnier the entire trip. I highly recommend staying here. Best area in Barcelona hands down

We had a lovely stay here in September. The staff, especially Melania, went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We had a gorgeous room with a balcony facing Rambla Catalunya, one of the most beautiful streets in the Eixample. The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona and provides a nice respite from the hordes in the Barri Gotic.
