A really comfortable and convenient stay. I had a single room which was basic but comfortable. Everything was so clean and the staff at reception and breakfast were really welcoming and accommodating, giving tips for the trip. Location is so perfect, for the beach, attractions and park nearby. Recommend this hotel for a few days stop over! Be aware that the single room didn’t come with any tea and coffee making facilities, but the bar downstairs has a tea and coffee machine and you can obviously get them at breakfast.

Excellent hotel, excellent location, great to have a mini bar. Breakfast was varied and always available even 10 minutes before closing. Reception was friendly and always giving advise. Room was clean and good shower. You can literally catch a bus or walk to most attractions that are near the hotel

The hotel rooms have been totally upgraded during the pandemic and are looking great. I stayed front of hotel on second floor with a large balcony overlooking the street. The room was decorated in a pale scandi style with new floor boards and a large comfortable bed. As always breakfast in “Tens” is fantastic. Wifi worked. Location is excellent for walks through the Born area and also through Barceloneta to the beaches. Lots of restaurants, cafes, boutiques in the immediate vicinity. Front desk staff always helpful. A go to hotel for any trip to Barcelona.

I've stayed with this hotel for a number of times now, I would think about 7 times also before covid. The company I work for has also sent quite a few others to this hotel over the years. After this last visit I can say that it will probably not be the case anymore.
To be honest, I felt like I was annoying the staff at the reception, it was always with a quick, condescending way that I was given answers. Like I was getting on their nerves.
I paid almost 1.100 Euro to stay 1 week. In that time, the phone was broke, my door would not shut properly without slamming it, the room STANK !!! of sewage (I was told because of the pool filter or something and I was directly next to the pool basically in room 721 - the cleaning lady spoke no english so that's the info I understood), the breakfast was not to great standards; never was there bacon, the boiled eggs cold. The coffee machine broke, so the waitress was so angry that she was slamming chairs and saying angry stuff in spanish loudly about how management never takes care of the machine; she dropped all kinds of glasses and plates in the kitchen; then the cook came out and looked at me and rolled his eyes and shrugged (how do people in service actually work like this???) . It was unrelaxing and not worth the price at all.
The only helpful and sincere person I met there was the girl at the reception who always asked how my day was, and also the room cleaning lady (the elder one with glasses).
I was not even offered ANYTHING in response to having to sleep in a stinking room with no phone. I thought maybe someone would say to me "sorry about all the inconvenience, have a wine on us" but not even that!!
Only the next day I was asked if I wanted to move (I declined only because I was traveling to Valencia for 3 days on that day and I was told that afterwards it would be fixed so I didn't want to move if it would be fixed. But when I came back, only the phone was fixed - the smell was still there and the door I still had to slam).
Also, my credit card was charged for a night on the first day of my stay, even tho my company pre-paid the whole stay in advance and it was confirmed. I had to wait several days before it was booked back to my account.
At the checkout I was not asked once how my stay was. I would have otherwise told the guy there directly. But maybe he knew I would say something and chose not to ask anything. He was the most condescending of them all anyway. He never freely said Hello or Good bye. Only interested in himself. Horrible person and not sure how he can work in service! When he reads this he will know who I am, for sure.
I did not have a welcoming or pleasant stay there this time and next time I and my company will choose another hotel for this or any other stays.
If you feel too secure and think you have enough guests, then think again. Covid isn't gone and one day you will be surprised how quickly guests can leave and go somewhere else. One should never feel too stable but there is always room for improvement! So long!

For our 46th year anniversary, my wife and I booked a trip to Portugal (4 nights), Valencia Spain (5 nights), and the Park Hotel Barcelona for 1 night, before boarding for our cruise to Italy. Who knew we would be hit with a pandemic, no one. Our flight was cancelled from the USA to Europe. United refunded our money, the cruise line refunded our money, all of the B&B's and hotels refunded our money, except for Park Hotel Barcelona. There was lots of communication between us and Hotels.com. Hotels.com provided exceptional service in trying to obtain our refund from the manager. My wife and Hotels.com worked diligently, but could not procure our refund. It didn't matter that there was a stay at home order in Spain and US citizens were banned from Europe. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if they gave me a free stay. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!!

Simply perfect localization, very friendly staff, good breakfast, equipment and really thorough cleaning service. It is really nice hotel for a weekend.
But: Pictures are retouched, in fact the hotel is not so elegant and modern. He could use a renovation. Rooms are really small (but this is written in the offer, so we can not blame), with a poor view, bathroom is behind the glass door, what is uncomfortable. But overall is good, you can't complain.

We had a great stay here-- it's right in the trendy El Born neighborhood, which is full of fabulous shops, restaurants, and attractions. Our room was smaller, but obviously was expected being that it's so central in the city. Our bathroom was big w/ natural light and a good shower! Nice amenities, too.
Right outside the hotel are a couple great little cafes where we enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast. Definitely could hear some street noise from partygoers on the weekend, but was to be expected. The rooftop pool & patio is a nice surprise, too!! Definitely recommend this hotel for couples.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel in Barcelona. It is an ideal location if you want to access Gothic/Rambla street and also the beaches and Olympic village. Both are easy walks either way. Staff is friendly and plenty of restaurants right next store. The hotel has a small outdoor pool area but the water is cold (seems to be a theme in Spain). I would recommend staying here again.

This hotel is a total gem! Nice location, great staff, clean and reasonable price. We LOVED our stay at this hotel. The pool is a must this summer with the very hot weather in Spain and it was welcome after a day of walking the city. We wouls definitely recommend this hotel and go back if we can.

I stayed at the Park hotel in September 2023 with my husband, aunt and uncle. We had a great experience. The hotel is centrally located, so many cool places to explore right outside the front doors. It’s close to the beach (15 min walk), close to the cruise terminal and has a wonderful coffee shop next door. Lots of restaurants and bars as well. Semi close to La Ramblas- walking distance or short cab ride. We walked everywhere. Remember comfortable shoes. We were able to try the famous Paradiso…it was cool, the drinks were ok. I liked mine the rest of the group did not. Worth the hype??? Probably not.
The front desk staff were so helpful and let us know about different activities around the city. We went to a soccer game which was amazing and ran into the front desk staff sitting two rows behind us. It was an awesome experience.
The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff do a great job. It had everything we needed for a 5 night stay.
We did not eat at the small restaurant inside the lobby as we enjoyed the fresh coffee and croissants at the coffee shop next door - Lulus
Yes there is a rooftop with cool views. I would not say the pool is usable. It’s TINY and not really to swim. But the amazing beach is so close, it’s much better.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Barcelona. When we return to Spain we will most defiantly be booking this hotel again.
