I stayed just one night. The room was old but refurbished. I particularly like the brand-new bathroom, with an excellent shower. It is BCN, so as one could expect the rooms are relatively small. Perhaps it is problematic to stay there if you are travelling with a big trolley. The room was quite (which I think is important in BCN), but some people were talking aloud at about 1:00am in the corridor. They wake me up (this is something I dislike about Spain: people speak super loud). Perhaps the worst part is breakfast. Mine was included in the room price (although they advertise it at 5 euros, as a special offer). They served me orange juice, two cold toasts with butter/jam, and some sort of processed bun/scone that I gently refused. That's it. I guess the 5-euro breakfast does not include anything else, as the lady did not ask me if I want something else. Obviously, it is not worth it at all. I understand that these are complicated times for breakfast buffet, but properly heating a toast and/or asking to a guest if she/he wants something else is not that complicated (and definitely would increase the guest's feeling about the friendliness of the staff members). Hope this feedback is helpful!

I stayed here for three nights in February 2020, with my partner. The main reason for the trip was to sight-see and run the Barcelona Half Marathon. The Hotel is in a side street in the Eixample area of central Barcelona. I would describe the neighbourhood as mixed, with a range of restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions. the locality is definitely not high end, nor is it shabby. You're about 15 minutes walk from the Placa Catalunya, at the end of Las Ramblas. The hotel's public areas are modern and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, and were able to help us with a very good restaurant recommendation for lunch nearby. The hotel offers breakfast at 10 pp. We did not use this, preferring to try some of the many cafes nearby. We particularly liked OMA. Our room on the 2nd floor faced into an internal courtyard. It was quiet but did not get much light. Maybe rooms that faced the street would be more noisy ? The room was small, adequate for a couple for a weekend but not longer. Wardrobe/unpacking space was limited. There was a small safe in the room. The bathroom was excellent, I think the bathroom must have been recently refurbished. The room and bathroom were very clean and we had housekeeping service very day

We stayed over at Barcelona Century Hotel for 7 days and absolutely loved it.
Firstly, the staff was incredibly polite and understanding. Always said hello and goodbye as soon as we showed up in the lobby, no matter how many timed we would walk through it throughout the day. We were met with an external issue one time that we had to inform the staff about and they reacted rapidly, which we appreciated very much.
Secondly, the room we were given was fine. While I can see why its size could've been a problem to some, it was spacious just enough for me and my family and it didn't bother us at all. The street view wasn't anything too spectacular, however we enjoyed it regardless.
Thirdly, the breakfast was fantastic! Delicious coffee - I especially recommend the cappuccinos. Those who aren't fond of sweet breakfasts may dislike it, though - there aren't much neutral or sour foods to choose from (just ham, cheese, eggs, bacon and bread). It's mostly pastries, doughnuts, cereals, yoghurts, fruits and such. I personally have a liking for sweet breakfasts and everything was tasty.
Lastly, excellent location! The hotel is not far from Passeig De Gracia and La Rambla. Quite a way to the sea, but honestly Barcelona is so beautiful that there is no need to complain - while on the way there, you'll get to see most of the city's architectural gems and tourist attractions.
To conclude, if you're looking for a nice hotel in Barcelona at a fair price, this is the one :)
Thank you to the staff for such enjoyable experience, hope to visit the place again soon!

Really staff is so friendly. Related rooms looks more or less new and everything clean and tidy but the main issue on this hotel is the tiny rooms ad bathrooms something could affect to feeling into room. Personally I think there is needed to grow up a little bit them because are not cheap enough to accept it as part of price

We felt very welcomed at the reception. The best points go to Luca (I think so was the man's name). We had a triple room, and there was enough space. Better would be if there was a coat rack next to the door. The room wasn't so clean, dust on the floor. Bath was excellent after long days. The choice at breakfast buffet was really positively surprising (there was bacon and egg porridge, ham, cheese + a big variety of pastries). Service at breakfast was always excellent.
The location of the hotel is great to reach after a short walk distance to many places. And of course metro is close.
Definitely would suggest that hotel.

This was my second time at this hotel and, while the first time was also great, I enjoyed my stay more than last year. The rooms seem to have been renovated and the doors can finally be unlocked with a card - in 2021 there were keys instead and it brought about a small issue. The staff was wonderful and I loved the breakfast. Thank you!

We arrived at this smart looking hotel, nice welcome and given our room keys. Rooms looked clean, compact and tidy. The negatives then appeared….The safe operation instructions if followed literally to the letter instead of “c” for close and “e” for enter didn’t work. The lovely guy on the desk explained only to find battery low so wouldn’t work anyhow. As Friday no service engineer until Monday = no safe…… The bathroom looked great until the long black hair in the shower stood out, which then led to a curlier one. I washed both away. I enjoyed a fantastic rain shower. My damp feet collected another three hairs and a dead fly which I toilet flushed. A new long black strand of hair a day including a fresh mass in the shower tray appeared. Was my bathroom a hair salon when out? With these my sleep wasn’t great not helped by an unsupportive single bed mattress. The staff were lovely and cheerful to a man and at departure woman. Housekeeping overall let this place down.

I just wanted a bolt hole hotel, as I was going to the Barcelona Grand Prix and was only there for 2 nights.

The century was ideal, 8-10 minutes away from the main attractions in Barcelona. The staff, very good, helpful, the bedroom and bathroom, very clean, TV, fridge, air conditioning, quiet, and they have a great breakfast, no complaints.

Would I go again, YES, definitely

Hello, there is info about taxi on oficial site of the Barcelona airport: "Taxi stops are in front of terminals 1 and 2. Taxicab run 24 hours daily. The vehicles are colored with black/yellow colors. Taxi Fares are charged depending of the hour that passengers take a taxi: day or night. At the airport (Entry/Exit) there is a supplement of € 3.10 and the minimum stroke and out the airport is 20 euros (including the supplement). Depending on where you have to go or if it's a festivity day it can be other supplements. In general, from Barcelona airport to the city center is about 25-30 euros. " - in my experience we paid about €50 but it depends of the destination also in the hotel, it possible to ask receptionists to order taxi from the hotel to the port. The taxi in Barcelona is quite expencive (in my opinion), but sometimes it's good to use it. as i usually travel economy way i prefer public transport that is perfect in BCN. But it's quit inconvenient to go to the hotel by bus or metro if you have a heavy baggage; you have to walk 500-600 m from the busstop /metro.. so when i remember how i was angry when i had do it - better to use taxi. by the way, for safety - better to use oficial taxi; and Bon voyage ! p.s. if to use Metro: from the airport - take L9S from the Airport to Terrassa-then L1 to Urgel - if to buy the transport card T-Dia with unlimited journeys on public transport in the city (1 zone) to be made in one day (~9 €)- it will be most economy way; from Urgel about 600m to walk
