It’s an attractive 19th-century building, a short walk from the historic old town, the harbor, and the beach. Some of the city’s best shops, restaurants and tourist attractions are close by, too. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the cathedral or Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s most famous street. The nearest metro stop is 5 minutes away on foot.

After being let down by a nearby "supposed hotel" we walked into reception at midnight and asked if they had a room for 4 nights, which they did. The room was spotless as was the ensuite. A quiet, friendly hotel with excellent service. In room safe, TV, hair dryer, great shower and bathroom, clean linen and towels daily, comfortable single beds close together. Felt more like 4 or 5 star than 3. Breakfast had an amazing selection but at 16 euros was expensive. Better to eat in the adjacent coffee shop, accessed from the reception area of the hotel where a cheese salad roll and coffee was just 6 euros. Staff were very helpful in booking tours for us. Nothing appeared too much trouble for them. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

The location of this hotel is great if you are tourist - I walked from the metro with my suitcases and it is an easy 5 min walk; it was nice to be close to the water as well as the gotic quarter. The hotel itself is very clean, rooms have everything you need although they are a bit on the small side. I had a large piece of luggage and it was difficult to move around the room with it in it. My room did had a very cute balcony and it was awesome to sit and people watch; just wish there was good in room coffee machines. There is a lot of noise from the street so be prepared to be awakened throughout the night by drunk people yelling and fighting. The heating in the room worked well but the tv didn't. Shower pressure was great!
As a solo female traveler, I always ask for rooms on higher floors for security reasons. This hotel told me I would have to pay extra for a room above the first floor. I kept room originally assigned to me but at least the first floor is high off the street and wasn't much of a problem, except for the noise.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and was central for all we wanted to do. La rambla and metro lines only 2 minutes away in either direction with connections to everywhere in the city However, they seriously need to do something about the smell of the sewer between reception and the bedrooms.it was vile. There was no smell in the room but in between was awful. The small cafe at the entrance did an excellent leche leche once my other half explained it was a bon bon wth a little hot milk on top !

The hotel is in a very good location in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic quarter. After that i'm struggling to think of anything positive that i could include in my review. In 2 days staying here i constantly had to return to reception after being unable to access my room due to faulty key cards. I had no change in bedding. No bin in the room emptied and was rang by reception to ask if i wanted any clean towels? In all my years of travelling i have never experienced anything as bizarre as that! Even budget hotels i have stayed in have changed bedding and towels and cleaned the room unless you place a sign on the outside of the door! The breakast available was coffee and cake or biscuit.No bread, no meat very basic. Finally upon leaving i requested a taxi to take me to the airport. I asked for a price and was told around € 35 depending on traffic! I booked with booking.com and got a set price before i got in the cab. I love Barcelona especially the Gothic quarter with all it's charm. No doubt i will return in the not too distant future. Just not to this hotel!

Oh my hot. What a suprise! Worst hotel ever! Pictures not reflect reality. All room pictures on booking, hotels.com and even hotel website include small balcony and are really lighter. We booked two rooms very dark and with small window even than in booking platform rooms looks completely different. Light in room hall is not works. Thanks to this "dark feeling" is even worst. Please do not believe photos shared in hotel website. Door to the bathroom can't be closed - probably broken- generally, highly not recommended.

Great location, staff are pleasant and helpful on any issue. The rooms are clean and towels are luxurious and big. The only downside for us was that they didn't put a kettle in the room, in most hotels it is customary. We chose a stay without breakfast, next to the hotel with a shared door there is a cafe with delicious pastries and excellent coffee, this is exactly what we like in the morning:) On the hotel's street ther lots of restaurants and cafes, but the street itself is quiet and small. Already looking forward to the next visit to beautiful Barcelona

Very nice staff. They have a well equipped gym. The room I had was on the third floor and was quite good AC worked fine but keep it on during the day. Otherwise it won’t cool enough. The breakfast buffet was closed. They have a small breakfast section for 7 euros but rather go outside for a bakery or coffee shop. Wifi is good and rooms are clean. I have no complaints. Although I would have wanted to know earlier the breakfast buffet was closed. Other than that; good location and affordable.

We have stayed here many times before but it just keeps getting worse each time. I had booked a superior room with balcony and the paperwork we were given at check in said superior room…..no balcony. Air conditioning didnt work either. Woman at front Desk insisted there was a balcony. So we went back upstairs and took a photo to prove there was no balcony. Then the lady said that because we had upgraded our room they were not notified. So the next day they moved us to the correct room. Now here is the thing….they received the $$ amount for the superior room with balcony, it was on our receipt as type of room. By insisting the room we were first allocated was the correct room we felt like we were being intentionally misled. The first room we had stains on the carpet and it smelt BAD, no a/c, no balcony. We paid extra for THAT room. I asked about a refund on type of room and they just fobbed me off and told me to go to booking.com. We did have future bookings at this hotel but have now cancelled them all. We will never stay here again as we view this whole thing in a bad light

Nice clean hotel Tiny Balcony in room but good for brekkie or coffee and people watching Bit noisy outside at night but excellent double/triple glazing so room was quiet. You can buy a continental brekkie with plenty of food and tea and coffee and bring it to your room. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room 😋 Friendly Staff

We stayed 2 nights July 16-17, 2023. Was located in a great area close to shopping, the beach, Ramblas, Columbus , and restaurants. (Close meaning European walking distances). The staff was very helpful and friendly. We chose the “full” sized room but the bed was actually a king sized bed. It was very comfortable. The room was updated and pretty but small. We still had plenty of room. The air conditioning was adequate, a little warm for us bc it was not as cold as we were used to. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi. Sorry for late reply. The transfer we used dropped us off a 5 min walk away. Won't be using them again as they could have dropped us off outside. Hope this helps.
