Set in the old town close to all the main attractions and 15 mins walk from the bus and train stations, it was perfectly located.
Having said all this, the biggest asset of all are the fabulous staff. Everyone was friendly and super helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them and I felt like a valued guest.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and I should know, I spent 5 nights there and would have stayed longer if they had a room available!

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the house keeping staff did a fantastic job in cleaning the room. Our room was a good size and clean.
So all excellent but the highlight for me was the roof terrace with honesty bar which was a fabulous way to end the evening enjoying a drink with a night view of fabulous Mezquita in Córdoba in the middle of November .
Very highly recommended and would definitely return to this outstanding hotel which is excellent value for money.
we had few issues
1. we were overcharged (way too high) for a very mediocre room
2. our room had some ants, which were cleaned once we complained.
3. Bathroom door for junior suite (its a small room with 4 beds) had no ability to lock
However, the request for partial refund was rejected despite telling them about both the issues. at Eur 40-60 its a decent place with good location
It’s in a great location, easy to walk to from the train station and is in the heart of the old town. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. There are cheerful murals painted on the center courtyard and the rooms are immaculate and everything works fine. There is a lovely rooftop patio with an honor bar. There are several choices for breakfast located nearby the hotel. We are so glad we chose the Carpe Diem for our short Cordoba getaway.
"Very narrow streets. We walked from railway station (about 15 mins). Not as difficult as it appears on maps."Read full review
