Hotel's Favourite
We had planned only one night in Córdoba, which is a shame. This hotel offered both the lowest price and best room of our two weeks in Spain and Portugal. The location on the Plaza de las Tendillas can't be beat. It's lively and beautiful day and night. Everything in old town Córdoba is within 10 minutes walk.
The room we had in one of the towers overlooking the plaza was clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. We had windows on two sides and a balcony between them. The bathroom was modern and fully appointed. Breakfast (for about €8 each) was better than average and the atrium was a pleasant environment.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was getting to the parking. Calle Sevilla 5 is just around the corner, but a number of streets in Córdoba were closed for road work and getting to the parking lot required step-by-step directions, including driving the wrong way down a couple of one-way streets and crossing the Plaza to reach it. Otherwise, a well-maintained and secure spot to park, right across the street from a grocery store.
We'll be back!

The best hotel we stayed in during our tour of Andalucia.

From check in, this hotel sets itself apart. We arrived in the afternoon and given a glass of cava and a warm welcome. We booked a room with a city view and were given room 202, a perfect room with a balcony overlooking the plaza.

We were travelling in late July during the coronavirus pandemic and the hotel puts comfort and safety at the forefront of everything it does. From the complimentary face masks in the room to the excellent housekeeping staff, you feel confident the hotel are doing everything in their power to look after their guests.

Room amenities are fantastic. Great toiletries, replenished daily and thoughtful touches such as nail polish remover wipes, toothpaste and brushes. This is one well curated hotel.

The room benefited from complimentary water, a stocked mini bar (which hasn’t been the case in other hotels we have stayed in during the pandemic where rooms have been stripped bare). A nespresso machine, replenished daily, was a great feature.

Shower is powerful and there was a professional grade hairdryer in the room.

Our room, despite overlooking the plaza was super quiet and sound proof. We slept incredibly well, beds and pillows were super comfortable. Black out curtains made it easy to sleep in.

We loved the plunge pool. This is not a very deep pool, so there was no swimming but a great place to relax and cool off after a day sightseeing. Make sure you see the Mesquita - breathtaking. There aren’t lots of loungers but seating and we didn’t struggle to get a spot.

The rooftop bar was super quiet, but we did enjoy an evening cocktail. It’s such a beautiful space and a wonderful view of the plaza. So stop there for a drink. Our margarita were delicious.

All staff here are super professional and friendly. The hotel is modern, stylish and goes the extra mile for its guests. Worthy of 5 stars. Thank you so much.

Nice and stylistic hotel near the plaza. We stayed at a bigger room with a double bed and a sofa bed, bathroom is spacious and clean, though water pressure is not stable at all times so you might feel cold and hot water interchangeably. Breakfast selection is good, with nice ranges of patries, yogurt, cereal and hot dishes. You can enjoy breakfast at a nice indoor patio with sunlight through the rooftop.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the Mosque and roman bridge where all the restaurants are located, but it's a nice walk through the alleyways of Cordoba.

Services are attentive and helpful. Overall very nice stay.

This hotel has been recently refurbished from a beautiful old building with amazing history. Owned by H10, we often travel within this chain and this hotel will be an amazing addition to their portfolio. When we arrived the hotel had only been open a couple of weeks and many finishing touches were being made. We booked a Junior Suite which was duplex and spacious. Unfortunately there was hardly any hanging space, drawer storage and the air conditioning was struggling to cope (staff learning how to program) in a week of very high temperatures.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious with many choices and the spaces within the hotel and on the roof terrace were all high quality and carefully designed. The staff could not have been more helpful as they tried to get the hotel ready to meet their usual high standards.

We stayed at the Palacio Colomera for 5 nights. Our room was spacious and overlooked the main Plaza. It is amazing that this plaza has 8 streets connecting to it like spokes in a wheel and there are all types of shops along these streets. This hotel is centrally located an appears that one side is more old town with narrower paved roads and the other side links up with a more modern part of Cordoba. This hotel is right in the middle and is very central to all sights.

We had 3 small verandahs that we could go out on and enjoyed observing the activities on the Plaza. These verandahs were really nice as it allowed fresh air into the room as needed. Room service was efficient and did an overall nice job on cleaning the rooms.

Breakfast was a buffet type breakfast and very good with efficient service in a large eating area. Everyone observed covid rules when getting up to get their food. The hotel itself was very nice and we joined the H10 club and were offered 2 free cocktails. We used this at the rooftop bar which provided a wonderful view of the surrounding.

Customer service was quite outstanding. We requested a kettle and some other items a few times and the person from the front desk delivered it immediately not waiting for housekeeping. This was a little surprising but really nice. I also need to ship some items back to the US and the team at the front desk were helpful in proving tape and directions to the post office. Great service overall.

I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. It is centrally located right on a large main plaza that provides many shopping and restaurant option while providing great service and really nice rooms.

Most people are wild about his hotel. We stayed here 2 nights in March and enjoyed our stay but we not overly estatic about our visit. We booked a junior suite which had a sofa and overlooked the Plaza Tendillas. The room was long and the bathroom was not offset as most hotel rooms and opened directly by the bed. This made it difficult to use the restroom and shower without disturbing a sleeping partner. We also had some confusion over a kettle we requested. They provided a tea pot and tea, and told us we would be charged for that but no kettle. We had to ask three times for the kettle which they subsequently brought. They need to remove the rugs in these rooms as they just seem to harbor bacteria. Why are rugs necessary if there is plank flooring already? Breakfast was adequate and location was good. There is a taxi stand directly outside which is an added bonus. All in all, it's a fine hotel that lacks pizzazz. We booked for a good price on a black friday speical and cannot complain. The rooftop bar is an added bonus.

As a hotel manager myself, I try to temper my criticisms of hotel faults and give credit where it’s due. Having traveled extensively for work and for pleasure, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at H10 Palacio Colomera. Not just for the beautiful location, immaculate rooms and great food but as is always (in my industry) it’s the staff that can ‘make or break’ a hotel experience. I have to mention JUAN P, the assistant Manager who so effortlessly moves between managerial, Concierge and Reception duties too. This isn’t a large property so I understand there’s no dedicated Concierge but...JUAN P seamlessly masters guest check-in, offering useful local and property information together with personal attention and expert advise - facilitating a level of service that exemplifies what the hotel industry tries very hard (but so very often) fails to deliver. We enjoyed every restaurant recommendation he gave us, had a wonderful experience at a local spa and we we never felt lost or abandoned in a city which has a interesting one way system! Thank you so much H10 Palacio Colomera, for a great stay and welcome experience! A big ‘should out’ to Juan P who would be (and I’m sure already is) a tremendous asset to the hotel owner GM, or any manager looking for the ‘holy grail’ truly genuine, superb hospitality management. Gracias

This is a really good hotel but I can't give it 5 stars after staying at a much better H10 in Seville. It's in a really perfect location, right on a big, central square. Our room faced the square, with a tiny balcony and we loved watching the activity below. The lights coming on at night were really beautiful. The rooftop of the hotel is really nice but small so it can be hard to get a table (or be brave like we were and share! You meet some of the nicest people that way ;-). The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The room was really nice, appealingly decorated in a very modern style and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Storage space was decent but a little tight. The bathroom was relatively spacious, though not huge, with a big walk in shower and good benchtop space. Service was very good, but not exceptional, as we had come to expect from H10.

The negatives are mostly in comparison to other hotels we stayed in over 5 weeks travel, including another H10. The room was quite small even though we were told we were in the best room type before stepping up to a suite. There was a funny, sewer smell in the bathroom and the toilet seat was sort of broken. The toilet also didn't function as it was supposed to (it had special features that didn't work). We didn't report the toilet issues to the hotel because it wasn't that important and we liked the location of our room so didn't want to change if it came to that. The bed was good but not as comfortable as expected and there was no pillow menu available. And although there were plenty of channels on the TV, CNN was not available, the only English speaking news channel was BBC. I know I am being fussy here and that many of these things may not be anything the hotel can help - the sewer smell and small rooms are likely due to the building renovation and it being in a very old city, they may be limited by the available cable channels. But some of these other things are features the hotel can correct. They can do a better job checking and fixing fixtures, they can have better service from the front desk staff, they can provide a pillow menu (this was common in hotels we stayed in throughout Spain, even in lower star ranked ones).

We also had a great deal of trouble with the parking situation. The hotel had advised us in advance of the available, off site parking lots, including distance from the hotel that we would have to walk with our bags. What they did not advise was how tight, small and difficult these lots are to get any but the smallest car into. We asked at check in if, perhaps, the closer, more expensive parking building would be better and we were told, no, they are all like that and that one would be even worse. We had several back and forth emails about the parking so it would have been good to be prepared. It was also very, very hard to find the street the parking building was on.

All in all, we did enjoy our stay at this hotel but it was not as good as expected from an H10 hotel and at these prices. However, I would consider staying here again if back in Cordoba.

Beautiful new property, with large and modern new hotel rooms. Comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom. The rate was extremely reasonable. The location is about 10 minutes walking from the great Mosque of Cordoba. Additionally, the included breakfast was above average, with fresh fruit and eggs and coffee. Courteous staff. Beautiful pool in the courtyard.

Would highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is in a great location. Close to the old town and the Mesquite but in a great square in the new town. We stayed on the 4th in a juror suite facing the square. It was a bit noisy at night but not enough to keep us up. The bed was very comfortable and the room was excellent. The air conditioning was great, and it was 112 degrees! The housekeeping was excellent and they would come in the afternoon again to clean the room. It was so nice to head out in the morning and when we got back the room had been cleaned again. They would charge the towels and leave cookies or chocolate on the bed and water each day. The breakfast was good but not great. It had everything we needed to start the day. If you asked they will make eggs how you would like. Overall our experience was excellent and we would highly recommend this hotel.

How many floors in this hotel?

We got the double city view of Plaza Tendillas which is really nice to look out and see all the activity. But it can get a little noisy at night particularly on the weekend. The rooms that face the inside are more quiet but there is no city view. There is one room in the annex with its own private courtyard inside the annex. I think that is possibly the best room if you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet. but it is probably the most expensive. Regardless of the rooms you select, the overall hotel experience was positive

Hi. No, the hotel does not have a parking. The best to do is park in parking calle Sevilla which is the nearest parking there is before going to the hotel. Nevertheless, please contact the hotel directly for more information.
