The hotel is outdated and a little drab, the elevator is super small and could use a good cleaning. Our room was ok, positives were the air and fridge got super cold and the beds were comfortable. The room could have been cleaned better, found some bacon and chips on the floor. Our biggest complaint was the front desk staff, even though he was friendly, he had flagged my reservation as no show so I didn’t get my choice perks. I called them and they told me this, I went down to the front desk and asked them to update my reservation and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about yet he wouldn’t look at me. He printed me a new receipt and said he would email me a copy too yet what I got was a weird attachment that I couldn’t open. In the end I had to call choice rewards back again and they called the front desk to get my reservation updated. I spent way too much time on getting a $5 coffee card.

The bed was comfortable but the water in the bathroom was barely lukewarm turned all the way to hot. So no shower and shaving was uncomfortable. We were in room 109 and it was so noisy so our sleep was constantly interrupted.
Breakfast was adequate. Morning fromt desk person was not personable.

I stayed at the Comfort in recently on a business trip in Yorkton. When I arrived the lobby was really dated with dirt and grime in the corners and in between the tiles. The elevator was old and very slow so I used the stairs for the rest of my stay. My first morning there when I was walking down to breakfast, there were mouse droppings on the landing of the main floor level. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, your standard boxed cereals, minimal fruit selection and classic make yourself waffles.

Rooms were very dated and not properly cleaned. Again there was dirt along the baseboards and in the corners. I was shocked there weren't bugs in the room.

Upon checkout, I tried to add my aeroplane number to the bill but the receptionist wild not accept it as I didn't show the card upon checkin. Regardless if I changed the form of payment or not, she was not willing to add the aeroplane number which I thought was just ridiculous since air Canada can retroactively add in aeroplane numbers. Anyway, if I need to stay in Yorkton it would not be at th Comfort Inn. There are a couple of other hotels that are better choices...or just keep driving to Saskatoon...

The young man at the front desk, named Kashish, was very kind and listened attentively to what I was looking for in a room. He helped me find the best room suited for my needs. I found the room to be very clean and the bed comfortable. Because of COVID restrictions, the breakfast buffet wasn't in service at this time. However, they offered a list of individually packed breakfast items that were good and more than adequate. I would definitely stay here again!

I have been staying at this hotel for years. We rented two rooms. In the first room their was food all over the floor. The bathroom wall was cracking, shower head fell off. In the second room the phone did not work, and when we pulled the sheets back we found food inside the bed. We had to change our bedding. There was no hot water in the entire hotel. For two days they did not event try to fix it because they said it was not their fault. Never one apology for the condition of the rooms or lack of water.

This hotel is very dirty and dated. The linens on my bed and the shower curtain had stains...so gross I asked for new ones (which also came stained with blood). The rooms are dated, even the curtain rods are barely hanging on.
The general cleanliness of the hotel is below standard, and the breakfast wasn't very good. To top it off, I was overcharged on my credit card (was supposed to get the group rate for our team). We'll never stay here again.

Do not stay at this hotel.
Manager was to lazy to walk out of office and talk with me not 10 feet from dirty front deck.
Book a stay got confirmation number arrived to be told the company credit card I use all across Canada 156 nights this year alone was not in my personal name so I could not use it. See ya. The quality inn (dorktown) has the same owner so I'm sure it's just as bad. AVOID

This is a hotel you must avoid at all cost. We booked here only because all the other hotels were booked. They go out of there way to make you feel unwelcome. The manger (TJ) is a total jerk. Tj must have trained is staff because they to are very rude. They put out the half as much food for breakfast as you need, and then are rude to you when you ask for more.

If i owned this hotel i would be very disappointed with management and staff after reading all the reviews for this dump.

I actually didn’t feel overly safe at this place, the hotel is tucked into a side street, and there were a number of people drinking outside. You feel like you are in a bit of a rough area at night. The rooms are clean, but very out dated my room was very musty smelling. My room was given by front desk staff to someone else simply because they said that they had a room booked under someone’s name that they didn’t know (but didn’t use my name or ID), it was truly strange and definitely made me uncomfortable. The rooms are over priced for what they are, but there aren’t a ton of decent options in Yorkton.

Older run down property, you walk in to a gloomy dishevelled lobby that looks like the 80’s décor. There is tile, older carpet to different older carpet all within the same room. The entrance doors are rickety and worn out. This property is squished onto a property with limited space to enter the office area. TV and remote did not work properly, bathroom is very cramped and the toilet I think was for one of Snow White’s 7 buddies. Just felt kind of icky all night …was happy to get out of there “early” If Comfort Inns can allow this place to be that way then I will be very cautious in my future choices with Comfort Inns. I will not stay at this property again …it's giving Comfort Inns a bad image/name..!
