We really like this hotel! The hotel is a very clean, with friendly staff, and prompt service. We stayed in a king suite that had a very comfortable king size bed, couch, desk and chair, microwave, mini fridge, sink, and a decent size bathroom with a deep soaker tub. This hotel is pet friendly as we had our dog travelling with us. They have a choice of breakfast items. We used the nice big swimming pool, water slide, and hot tub area. The fitness equipment is great. We also used the guest laundry. I would recommend anyone to stay at Canalta Stettler if you are wanting a reasonably priced hotel with great amenities. There is also a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel so you do not have to leave the hotel area to eat and go out.

When my sister and I registered, the staff seemed to sense that we needed a quiet space. The room was more spacious than we expected. It was a suite! We each had our own room which was perfect as we were able to enjoy our own space and quiet sleep. We had travelled to Stettler due to the death of our sister. This peaceful room was perfect. Later that evening we thanked the staff and shared why this meant so much to us. When we returned to our room the next day we found a bouquet of carnations and a card from the staff. That was defiantly going above and beyond any expectations. How kind and thoughtful. I'd also like to mention that the food in the attached restaurant was very good and served in a pleasant atmosphere.

We loved our two nights in August at the Stettler Canalta with its beautiful whirlpool suites. Breakfast however sadly is pathetic. The staff are very good and our room was immaculate. We also enjoyed the ambience of our room's fireplace

The bed was broken in the room or missing a wheel so everytime someone moved the whole bed did aswell. The room was very dirty and with direct access our side there was a large amount of people thoughout the night right out side your window. The location is great if you’re there for the hospital but this is a lot more like a hotel 6 then a canalta. Would nit recommend to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I have looked into the room you stayed in and made our maintenance team aware of your concerns. We are a crew hotel with a privately owned lounge located in it, so our parking lot does tend to get a little busy at times. We are very sorry about this inconvenience to you, for your next stay I would recommend the hotel section rather then the motel section as it is quieter. I would like to ask for you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

Emily and her entire team are friendly and Helpful. Emily is the only person that has ever given me a room upgrade due to my canalta rewards status. I will always book my crews and myself at the Canalta when I'm in stettler. I recommend staying on the hotel side as it's slightly more expensive but much nicer than the motel side.

My sister and I were given an upgrade from a room with two Queen Beds to a Suite with two rooms. It was perfect and the desk staff didn't know when she gave us this upgrade how very special this was for us. We absolutely needed this private space to enjoy good, quite sleep. This was an answer to prayers.
I will definitely book here again. All the staff were friendly and the on site restaurant was great as well.

We recently stayed in Stettler and were amazed by the customer service this hotel had. The manager Emily was there herself to check us in. The lady in the morning was so cheerful handing out the breakfasts. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a very nice stay and will definitely be back again.

Came to Stettler on business. Could not turn on the TV. Kept getting 'press OK to watch TV" No luck. Kept pressing OK and nothing happened. Turned TV off. Lady at reception was very helpful but we could not get the TV to work. Decided to have a cup of coffee with the Keurig machine. The water would not heat up and although i have a similar coffee machine at home, this one would not work. The water does not heat up and the coffee machine keeps asking to place cup. Noting happens. Machine times out and turns off.

We are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience at our property, as this truly was not our intention. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns. I would like to take this opportunity to state that we are working diligently on proper TV troubleshooting to prevent this situation from happening again. I do believe the issue with the coffee maker is it will not recognize a clear cup as being present, I will address this with our suppliers as we never want cup type to hinder our guests from a great cup of coffee. And finally we do apologize for not being able to serve a hot breakfast due to COVID restrictions, we have switched to a bagged breakfast with a breakfast sandwich, but we do understand that this is not always appealing to all our guests. I hope that you will provide us the opportunity to correct this issue. We strive to create that home away from home feel, and it's apparent we fell short this time. Room was larger. Furniture old bed uncomfortable. No blankets. No mattress cover yuck. Shower was great. Hot and lots of pressure. A room on bottom had been requested but we were on top floor. It did what it had to do. Lol. Pool was nice. Overall acceptable stay

The rooms were super clean and the staff was amazing. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The breakfast to go was ok, but we decided to go to the restaurant for the second morning as breakfast sandwiches really aren't our thing.

Dear Guest,
I am so sorry that happened, and I have not been made aware of this situation. I will be addressing this with my team. At no time should a guest every be charged more then they were quoted. I would like to handle this situation as quickly as possible and make sure you get the refund you deserve. I sincerely apologize on behalf of myself and the Canalta brand.
Yes our establishment is 100% pet friendly. We do charge a small pet fee of $15 per night just to assist with the extra cleaning required after your furry family member has left.
