Detailed Reviews
Visited in a motor home. Found the site easy to pull thru. Gravel base, some shrubs for privacy. Washrooms were open but limited in use. Pool was closed. Site had water, sewer, and electricity. Roads are gravel and dusty if speed limit of 10 Km is not adhered to. Store sells firewood but no food. Camp is situated between a railroad track and a highway but the trains seldom blew their whistles.
Found much of the sites are occupied by permanent people so drop ins are a minority.
Good for an overnight stay but not for a longer vacation stay.

Average RV park. Really good staff, very accommodating. Was upfront on the phone about no playground or swimming but as a family that was on day 5 of a 10 day road trip we welcomed the quiet. Trains do go by frequently but don't blow horns at night and the noise of them passing didn't disturb any of us through the night in our tent. Great views!

This is a old campground. There are over 150 site with mostly long time campers.
Sites are good but not clean. Tables should be replaced
Internet is non existent
Good place for overnight only.
Trains on one side highway on the other and the pipe line is going thru the campground ⛺️

Extreme heat and they had an empty pool
No internet if there was you couldn’t get it.
Requested 50 amp but none however 30 amp was pretty good.
Ok for an overnight but wouldn’t stay longer
Should have reduced the rate for the dry pool or at least tell us before booking. We would have looked elsewhere down the road
Not worth $50/night
Should not advertise pool or internet because they don’t have either.

First the check in lady was what seemed like she did not want to be there ,
Wifi wasn’t poor nat as advertised. Sites not clean . Charged $70 for a cable box , pipe line cuts through the park , many full time sites messy , many of the trees cut down , took out the pool and play ground replaced with rv sites , not kid friendly. No worth the money . The rv park up the road is much better

Took out the fifth wheel for the first time this year. Had our three teenagers with us. It was a great stay. The pool is closed due to Covid. They have one shower open in the washrooms and it gets lovely and hot. The mosquitoes were brutal but not a whole lot they can do about that. The scenery was beautiful and everyone was nice.

A basic RV park, older woman at desk was very rude and ignorant,so was her family.stayed one night . Bathrooms/ shower area was in a state of extreme disrepair. Picnic tables were very unsafe to use.beside train tracks/major truck route. Pool advertised in their ads,but I doubt in was used in months or years, was falling apart, had a foot of swamp water in it.one person on here said "pool closed due to covid" not true at all, closed due to neglect , just look inside it! would never recommend it .

My husband and I always went there for camping. We don't have RV but we always rent cabin there. We love that place. It has internet (we used it no problem). There is also pool (we never swam in it but seen people use it). We went there just two of us and went with friends as well. It was fun either way. Now we a toddler and a baby on the way and I can't wait to come back. Last time we have been there it was 2019 May month I believe. The last years the only things that have been holding us back are covid and then fires in the summer time and young kids. So want to come back. I love that they have showers there as well. We have not found yet a better place to stay for camping.

Fantastic location near a bike park that has skill levels for all riders. Also near a great seasonal swimming hole and close to town for all the last minute oops I forgot. Campsite is clean and well run, a bit dusty and the childrens play area gets so much use it needs a rebuild, but I'll go back. Also a great first night stop on the way to the interior if you get a late start.

Had a pull through site which was fine. The people are generally quiet (as there are quite a few full timers here) but as others have said there are train tracks across the road from the campground and Hwy 1 behind it. There is also a small airport nearby so all day and most of the night you're hearing the the din of traffic, trains, planes and helicopters. Not a bad thing overall, but if you're looking for peace and quiet you're not going to find it here.
In this time of Covid the site was sort of raked, but there were cigarette butts, bottle caps and food as well as bits of wrappers still around the picnic table and large wood chips from chopping where we parked the RV. I expect a higher level cleaning to be done, so this isn't a campground I'll be returning to. I'm not saying it was terrible, just that it should have been better.
