Welcome to one of the Cariboo's gems, Martens Resort and RV Park on beautiful Timothy Lake! Our campground is spread over 15 acres and enjoys 1100 feet of shoreline. As you sip coffee in the morning you're almost guaranteed to see fish jumping from the glassy surface of the lake. Whether you fish, waterski, swim, float or simply dip your toes - the lake will call to you (as well as the loons). When guests at our family campground aren't enjoying the lake, they love our volleyball court, playgrounds, yard games, and general vacation vibe. Many campers choose to start their days with a stroll around our 1km nature trail, simply enjoying the symphony of quiet. Bring your boat, bring your kids, bring your dog and come enjoy some camping in BC's Beautiful Southern Cariboo, where the air is clean, the summers are hot and the night sky is crystal clear. We are located in Lac La Hache, between 100 Mile House and Williams Lake in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I booked my stay in cabin 5 using their easy to navigate website to join a family reunion booked for July long weekend. I was travelling solo with my 4 year old and 3 month old infant so I was feeling a bit nervous about my stay.
The day before I arrived the exceptional guest care began! The owner, Jeff, called and left me a message letting me know the weather has been all over the place and the bugs had hatched so I was able to grab some extra supplies and be better prepared. I had some last minute questions and called the resort back and spoke with the other owner, Laura. Laura really set my mind at ease and even offered some mosquito supplies to borrow during my stay for my infant. My nerves were instantly set at ease!
We arrived and checked in and were greeted like family! The little camp store had some really great local treats and other common camping necessities. I grabbed a delicious bag of coffee that I forgot (mom fail!) and was then guided to my cabin by Jeff to get settled in.
The cabin was SPOTLESS! The kitchen had everything we needed, they bbq had a full tank of propane, the bed was comfortable. There was even a bug zapper for any of the mosquitoes that snuck through the door. I did a little bit of furniture rearranging and felt immediately relaxed and ready to visit my family!
The campground is very well kept. This year came with a very wet spring so some of the grounds were soggy but Jeff worked his hardest to ensure the sites were accessible. He was shoveling gravel and placing boardwalks so that even my relatives with mobility challenges were able to get out and about!
My daughter had such a great time at the playground and we were able to use the games they have set up for everyone. If anyone wanted to rent a boat, Jeff got it ready for them and took it out for a cruise to make sure everything was ready to go. We all felt so well looked after and appreciated all the effort the owners put in so that we could just relax and enjoy the resort.
Our family is already planning our next reunion here and I am hoping to come up later in the summer next year to have my husband join us in this slice of Heaven on earth!

Can't say enough about this place! Its the most organized camp area I have ever stayed at. Bathrooms/showers are immaculate with good running hot and cold water. The amenities of the games, watercrafts and site hookups were A++++. Definitely will be back!

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed in Cabin 4 for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. The cabin was clean, cozy & spacious! The outside patio set, fire pit & dock right out front was an awesome bonus that we took advantage of almost every day. Definitely did not want to go back home!

We had a great camping weekend. We are hardcore campers always looking for new, fun and peaceful places.
They had the perfect site for my friends and I. The far left side of the resort our site was tree’d for shade and privacy and we were right on the waterfront. Worth the trip for us and definitely going back!

I almost hesitated giving a review because our family would love to keep this place a secret just for us, lol! The wonderful family that run this little hidden gem leave you wanting for nothing. There is fun for all ages. They even gave us a great place to watch the Canucks VS Oilers game!!

Jeff and Lara are awesome and make sure to address your every need! There is a playground for the little ones and an activity field for all ages. Cabins are bright and clean and stocked with everything required for your stay. I wish we had discovered this place years ago!

Great family run operation! Would recommend to anybody looking for a short or long trip, business or pleasure!
Lots of toys to use on the lake and beautiful log cabins. Plenty of fishing, games and trails to fill your time with.
We rented a boat and fished as well as went to the rope swing island that is off property and only accessible by boat.

Yes, the campground was very clean and nice. We had a trailer and tent and called them when we found them on the app ALL STAYS for camping - which they had no idea that it was on there, so they did not give much information over the phone. The website is not totally accurate when it comes to pets! We had one trailer with small dog, and tent with 2 medium dogs. Website and their "brochure" that they give you at check in, says pets $5 day. But they charged $10 day for the medium dogs - said they didn't have time to update website or reprint the papers. When we tried to figure out why the tenters were so much, the lady was kind enough to explain, but I still think they should be made to stick to what they advertise for prices. I don't think they get many that just drive in to camp, probably more booked on line. Lakeview is only if you are in some of the cabins or a yearly trailer, that is always on the waterfront. Prices were good for hookups, though because the tent and 2 dogs was more than the trailer and 1 dog, I asked if the tent could be on the other side of the firepit, was told no. There was a ton of space. Great place if you don't mind not being on the water, and don't have dogs! Very well kept area.

We had the best stay. The cabin was fully stocked, we enjoyed the boat rental and even caught a couple of rainbow trout that we released. Our hosts were excellent! We will definitely be coming back here!! Thank you for having us Jeff & Lara 🙏🏼

The owners, Sandy and Dave, are wonderful. The cabins and RV location is right on Timothy Lake. Canoes, kayaks, bouncy slide for kids, ramps to launch a boat. Very clean restrooms and showers. Lots of grassy areas. Highly recommend.
