My family and I enjoyed clean room a good breakfast every day of our stay, really good waffle maker. The pool was also family friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family when staying In Kitchener.

Our family of 5 stayed at Homewood Suites for one night to attend a family funeral. Given the COVID times we were a bit nervous about a hotel stay. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent protocols in place including wipe dispensers and hand sanitizers in common areas. Our room was spotless including sanitized remote controls for the TV’s and extra wipes for high touch surface areas.
Most importantly and due to our sad circumstances they allowed us to use their breakfast area between 4-6 pm so we could order in some food and be together as a family between visitations. The tables had been completely sanitized and spread apart for social distancing. Thank you Brooke for making this happen. Finally because of timing we requested a late check out and no questions asked we were accommodated. In our opinion Homewood
Suites Waterloo went above and beyond to accommodate our family. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here while travelling for work for 3 nights in November of 2019.
I purposely booked an all suites property as I wanted additional space due to the amount of time I'd be spending in my room.
This property did not disappoint. Check in was fast and friendly. The suite was huge and well cared for. The exercise room did the trick the first night, but I found my way to a nearby Goodlife on my 2nd and third night.
The reception in the evening was a bit of let down. They had snacks and they were fine, but I much prefer the style of reception in an Embassy Suites where you get a couple of frosty beverages.
I would absolutely stay here again and if you happen to be in this area strongly recommend you consider this property.

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was as expected, great location to St Jacobs market. The COVID precautions were a little lacking in my opinion. Wipes and hand sanitizer are available in the lobby but the sanitizer was empty and the wipes are for hard surfaces only and not hands. Cleanliness in the room was also lacking, the tv remote was crusty and I found a clump of black hair on the bathroom floor- I am blonde.
There are no USB ports in the room but plenty of outlets. WiFi was generally good but had to reconnect multiple times. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is available and was plentiful but get there before 9:30 as they seem to stop replenishing. The pool was open, you needed to book a time which was an awesome way stay socially distant. I may stay here again but there are 3 other hotels on the same road.

This used to be a favourite place to go but it’s looking run down and it wasn’t clean. We checked in and the room hadn’t been cleaned (it looked like they had changed the sheets but the floors were dirty, used cloths were in the tub and the table/desk had food on it) the hallways were dirty and it took awhile to get responses. They did go back and clean the room after we requested it but we still wiped down the surfaces with Lysol before we settled in. Although the hotel was full for a hockey tournament it wasn’t that loud and our stay was fine in spite of things but I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go there (I won’t be going back). Too expensive for what it is and in the lack of cleanliness was unsettling (especially in this COVID environment)

We stayed at this hotel as a midway point to be able to drive to the beach at Grand Bend one day and then the other direction to Niagara Falls the next. We loved having a separate sitting area with a closed door so that one person could sleep in while the other sat and drank coffee and watched tv. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable. Everything was clean. Our room had a mini kitchen with a full fridge, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop. And the hot breakfast was so delicious! Every morning there was scrambled eggs, but they were never plain. One morning they had spinach and cheese. Another morning it was tomatoes and cheese. We loved the variety. They also had hash browns and sausages or turkey bacon. They had a waffle maker, cereals, breads, fruit. Lots of choices.
Covid measures are in place. Lots of sanitizers. No maid service unless you specifically ask for it, but they are still attentive to your needs. Leave your used towels in the hallway with a list of items you need and they take care of it.

Imagine Communiations held an event at the HomeSuite Hilton St. Jacobs during the week of Jan27. The hotel crew have gone way above and beyond with their services. They make us ALL (not only the management team from Imagine) feel like VIP. They ensure all the special dietry need is being taken care of, food is served in the right time and the menu is changed everyday. They all wear a bright smile on their face and passionate with what they are doing. The crew often offer help (food or anything we need) throughout the week.
There is not much we can say except for a BIG THANK YOU for this AWESOME team.

Homewood suites was “home” for the past week while I stayed there during a business trip. I booked a two queen suite and was surprised by the large size of the bed room and office space which was separate from the living area and kitchenette. The daily breakfast had a good variety and staff were friendly and attentive to replenishing food and cleaning tables after diners left.
The hotel is located steps away from the St. Jacobs Outlet where a half dozen stores remain. It is also about a 5 minute walk away from St. Jacobs Farmers Market - a must visit to pick up seasonal vegetables and support local merchants.
The only inconvenience experienced during my stay was my keycard kept deactivating every other day. I had to visit the front desk on three occasions to get it reprogrammed. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay and I would stay again next time I’m in town.

We visited here for our anniversary for a few nights. We were upgraded after our initial room had a less than perfect view which was very appreciated! They seem to be taking a lot of precautions due to COVID which is good. No one enters or cleans your room and they are trying to still do breakfast which is what a Homewood regular has come to expect, however the breakfast still leaves a lot to be desired, we found the breakfast sandwiches greasy and the oatmeal runny and plain. Ended up eating yogurt and fruit and going out across the street one morning. Unfortunately we usually book Homewood suites because of the added value of having breakfast and the evening reception...but the later has not been resumed and we would have rather had a cheaper rate and just went out for breakfast!

Room was good and decently priced. Pillows on the bed were extremely flat and soft. Perhaps need replacing. Nice to have the convenience of a kitchen. The bed was comfortable. Good location and booking was easy.

No it is a seasonal tourist train
No idea we did it get a package. Normal check out is 11 and if you just ask for late check out they give you until noon.
Yes, I think late check-out is only 11 am. Because it wasn't TOO busy when we were there, the front desk let us stay another hour free of charge.
