The rooms are not large but there is still plenty of space due to the way they are set up. There are lots of shelves instead of desk and drawers. Breakfast was very good and extra seating was provided when the breakfast area was filled. I would select this hotel again if I were in the area.

We stayed at the Microtel for one night. The room is a lot more spacious than I thought it would be for a microtel. We had 2 queens plus they provided a playpen/crib for the baby and we still had lots of room. Everything is so modern and clean as it’s a brand new hotel. The check in process was smooth, quick and easy! We enjoyed the pool which is easily connected to the hotel and has a big water slide for the kids as well as hot tub, sauna, steam room. The breakfast in the morning was the best hotel breakfast we have had in a long time. The options were plentiful. Eggs, bacon, sausage, all kinds of breads, muffins, juices, flavoured water. The staff were all very lovely! The breakfast lady had a big smile on her face and was happy to have us. At checkout we had Brodie and he was very friendly and wanted to make sure we had the best experience. We will definitely be back! Very happy that Summerside now has a great hotel to stay at!

Great experience, great staff, Emily at the front desk was wonderful to deal with.
The hotel was very clean and accommodating to our hockey team. The lady running breakfast was great with the parents and kids making sure there was enough food out for everyone.
Will be back for the next tournament.

I am only giving this hotel 2 stars as a couple that travels a lot and uses the pool to relax after long trips. The website is very misleading. It says it has an indoor pool, no where does it say that it is a public pool which is shared with the hotel. Zero place to just sit, read and use the pool here. Wifi is very poor speeds as well. We decided to check out after 1 night (had no choice to do one night) and switch to a different hotel with an in door pool that the public doesn’t use. Also, when we checked out the pool, we could only get in by the family door. The card we were given, didn’t work, after being told lockers where 50 cents, family lockers where, men’s were $1.
Staff were friendly, room was clean, but the coffee machine had opened sugar packages only in the room.
Just very disappointed after 6 hour drive to find out their pool was a public pool and was mislead on their website. I suggest you should add in public pool access on your website.

Response from Cory Snow, General Manager at Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Summerside
Responded Jul 2, 2023
We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We do share a pool with the CUP Center next door and understand that it is not your typical hotel pool. It offers a 25M lane pool, as well as a separate leisure pool with Water slide for kids. There is also Sauna’s, a steam room and hot tub for guests to use.

Management at the hotel is brutal. I believe the person’s name was Shubie. She made the check in process an extremely frustrating process for about 50 people standing at the front desk waiting to be checked in. She was dealing with experienced travellers - not our first stay in a hotel. Her explanations were rude, and lacking any warmth, empathy or hospitality. The hotel needs to do better with planning for groups that they book in. They were unprepared and sadly left someone in charge that doesn’t understand the hospitality industry. Nice new hotel but I won’t recommend it or ever stay there again

Great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and quiet. The Credit Union Place convention center is attached via 4 season pedway, it has a bowling alley, a gym, a huge pool, 2 ice rings, a track to walk around the ring, a horse track, a small casino, and 2 restaurants plus a coffee shop. We were there as organizers of an event, and we highly recommend this venue, as all our attendees were very satisfied with their stay.

The staff at this hotel is really nice and helpfull. Although we didn't have reservations because of communication issue on our end, the Guest Service Manager on duty that day, Shubhi, was a fantastic help and was able to accomodate our group of 5. Marj made our breakfast experience a very enjoyable one, she is awesome, very friendly and always in a good mood, and Sienna ensured we had a seamless checkout experience. Anytime we crossed staff members in the hallways or elevators, they were always cheerful, smiling and curteous. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to make our week a very enjoyable one. We look forward to returning in May for our Convention.

Paula treated us like all stars. One of the better customer service experience from the Wyndham line of hotels we have received.

Room is what we expected based on the name. However, the level of amenities available is nothing micro at all.

Connected to a community grade swimming pool, leisure pool. There’s also a couple of small ice rinks, bowling alley, and attached to the racetrack and casino.

Great hotel all around. The staff, rooms, lobby bar and connection to Credit Union Place has this hotel a step above the competition. Came for business but can't wait to come back with my family and explore the area.

My family and I recently stayed at this location and it exceeded all expectations in every way. But the main aspect I wanted to comment on is the staff. All of which we had contact were great but I did want to make special mention of Sierra and Paul. We ran into automotive issues and being so far from home, this can really cause unneeded stress. Both these employees went way above and beyond to help us through this and put our minds at ease. These two really made the difference in helping keep our spirits well. Kudos to them. They deserve to be recognized.
