What a beautiful hotel. Our overnight stay was fantastic. Room was spacious, but lighting isn't that great, but check-in was very easy. Underground parking lot is a bit confusing as signage needs improving. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for renovations and we told if we walked to any restaurants not to talk to anyone lol. Decided to stay in room and eat junk food for supper.

I found the price really reasonable for this hotel. The rooms were clean and quite spacious and the staff was really friendly. Peter, at the front desk was very helpful and explained a lot about the surrounding area and the hotels amenities, even told me were the complimentary hotel coffee was...big points scored there. Ha!

They have a large pool too and a bunch of other great features that I never got to use, as I came in late and left early the next day.

I was travelling by motorcycle and they allowed me to park it right up close to the front door so security could keep an eye on it for me overnight. I really, really appreciated this!!

I would stay here again for sure, if I'm traveling through Sudbury.

I read some awful reviews for this hotel after I had booked and honestly I almost cancelled my reservation because of them. I'm so glad I didn't; the hotel was wonderful, it was clean and the staff was accommodating, I could see some patrons having issues with the underground parking but my grandchildren thought is was exciting. The pool was warm and clean with plenty of towels and the breakfast that was included had a good variety that included eggs sausage and delicious blueberry muffins.

Stayed here for a girls' shopping weekend with my sister and 5 year old niece. We picked this spot because the price was right and it had a pool. We also thought the covered parking would be convenient considering its winter, however the lack of signage made it very confusing to walk to the front desk from the parking area. Having to trek all our stuff to/from the car was not convenient either - its kind of far.

As soon as we arrived from a 3+ hour drive, my niece wanted to unwind and watch some TV before we ventured out again. Not a big deal but the remote didn't work. What bothered us is we had to ask the front desk multiple times to fix it. It only got worse for the second day when housekeeping just didn't show up. Luckily we're not messy people but we did need more towels since we had to use them for the pool (more on that later). I had to call the front desk twice and also speak to them in person to get a couple more towels. No idea why housekeeping didn't come - we were gone most of the day and we didn't have the do not disturb sign out.

As for the pool, its a good size however the shallow end is so tiny, its hard for kids to play in it. There happened to be a hockey tourney the same weekend, so there were lots of loud rowdy kids, and the pool was not large enough to accommodate everyone. We went to the pool the first night, on a Friday and all the towels assigned to the pool were in use. I took my niece early Saturday morning hoping it would be less busy (it was) but the dirty towels were still strewn out on all the chairs, unmoved from the night before, with no clean ones available.

The final straw for us was being woken up after midnight on our last night by the hockey team PARENTS. They were sitting on the floor in the hallway (ew?), drinking/drunk and playing games. I honestly couldn't believe how entitled these parents felt...grow up! So another call to front desk security. Not to be a prude but my 5 year old niece is trying to sleep, I'm pregnant and my sister has chronic health issues, plus we had the drive home, so sleep was important!

As you can see from my attached pictures, the hotel is old and worn (see shower head pic - ewwww). Also they could use some new beds, they're quite hard.

So yeah, we won't be staying there again and don't recommend you do either!

On behalf of our entire staff at Radisson we apologize for the concerns you shared about your experience at this hotel. We are working diligently to correct these issues and I appreciate that you brought them to my attention. I have discussed with all of my guest services staff the importance of resolving concerns in real time. I have asked them to call me directly if they are unsure of how to handle issues that arise. Unfortunately this didn't happen during your stay and I feel that we failed you as a guest into our house.

I stayed at the hotel for 13 days, and it was a rather unpleasant experience. Firstly, the cleaning service for my room was not up to par despite multiple requests, which left me quite frustrated. Additionally, my key card repeatedly failed, preventing me from accessing my room. I had to visit the lobby almost daily to have it reactivated.

The hotel's parking is located inside a mall, and I encountered some safety concerns due to the presence of individuals who made me feel uneasy, and it seemed that the hotel did not effectively manage parking security.

The only positive aspect was the restaurant, where the staff was exceptionally friendly. However, overall, I couldn't wait to finish my stay there.

Staying here felt like I was at a cheap motel off the highway which I would have preferred... I picked this specifically due to it being a Radisson brand lodging and was quite disappointed upon arrival. After a long trip in the backwoods we just wanted a nice place to shower up and rest to split our drive up to the city.. which did not happen here.

The bathrooms were old and probably one of the worst i’ve ever seen in a paid accommodation. Okay, fine old outdated rooms, furniture, etc. is acceptable and sometimes charming but a none functional bathroom? Might as well pull down that Radisson sign.

There was no fan so a hot shower resulted in a Congo like atmosphere almost immediately. The shower head was from an era I have not lived in and the toilet was even worse. It also flushed like they are on a well septic system or something which was beyond annoying. The shower was clogged so I had like a foot of water to stare at in disgust of what my feet could possible be bathing in. The toilet paper seemed as if it was from recycled cereal boxes.

Also no room service “due to Covid” which I found odd as all the restaurants are open?

Great Staff .. comfortable bed, large clean room. Internet could be a little faster. House keeper did a great job, she above and beyond to ensure everything was neat. Security for the hotel was also on point, doors looked after time and only hotel residents could enter.

This place is a total dump, and totally unlike any Radisson we have ever stayed in before. It is visibly dirty with stained carpets everywhere, very beat up. Our room stunk of mildew and there was no way to access any fresh air to air it out. My white socks were black on the bottom after only being in our room about a half hour unpacking - the carpets were dark so no visible dirt, but clearly FILTHY after seeing what it did to my socks! Our door lock looked like there had already been a break in. We had one single glass for the entire room. Our so called easy chair was dirty on the seat and arms. We did not even attempt the "free breakfast" given the filth of the place. Getting to and from the parking garage is like a maze, and is very difficult to navigate as signage is poor as well. We tried to move to another hotel, but there were tour buses at every place we called, they were full. We stayed 3 nights at this Radisson, and as with many places, the rooms are only freshened for 2 nights, and then there was supposed to be a full clean on the 3rd day, but no one came and we had to go find someone at 5:30 pm to obtain clean towels and have our trash taken out. There also certainly appears to be a problem from the top as there was a supervisor there when we were trying to check in, and the clerk asked for his help multiple times and was ignored almost every time. Because of that, the clerk could not find our reservation, and we did not get the room we booked. And the only good things about it we can say is that the staff are trying extremely hard and were always pleasant - with the exception of that rude supervisor at check in. And the pool area was pristeenly clean with lots of towels.

My stay was awful. We asked for a conjoined room over a week ago, didn't get one. On the first day the toilet overflowed, flowing all over the room and into the hallway, we shut the water off. No one came till the next morning to deal with the room.
When we went downstairs to the pool we noticed another room with water outside the door and into the hallway.
The next morning I grabbed a bagel and before eating it noticed it was covered in mold. I let the lady know, she removed my bagel, checked the other bagels, removed one and left two bagels for others to eat.

I stayed here 2 nights for work. The hallway to my room smelled like a public washroom and there were fruit flies in my room but I wasn’t expecting the best and I just needed a place to sleep and shower.

The second night I planned to try the restaurant in the lobby. I called multiple times to place a takeout or room service order but they wouldn’t pick up. When I walked over to place an order in person I stood there for 5 minutes, no one greeted me so I left and got dinner elsewhere.

The second morning when I went to shower I couldn’t get any hot water. When I called the front desk I was unapologetically told that something was leaking and the hot water had to be turned off until it could be repaired. When I asked if it would be fixed anytime soon I was told “no, I’ll call them later today if I don’t hear from them and I’ll let you know”. I was checking out that morning and had to be at a clients office for 9am so I was left with the choice of an ice cold shower or no shower.

I’ll likely be returning to Sudbury again but won’t be staying at the Radisson again.
