#55 of 130 B&Bs in Niagara-on-the-Lake

We are fully licensed to operate a B&B. Located in old town precinct of Niagara on the Lake (NOTL), we are minutes away from the historic district, just 1.5 km from the NOTL Golf Club and only a 20 minute walk to the heart of Queen Street. A variety of restaurants and pubs are just a stones throw away from our B&B. The B&B has a total of 3 guest bedrooms all of which have their own private and ensuite bathroom. The rooms are well equipped with all key amenities provided. The larger rooms can comfortably accommodate three adults or a family of four which includes two children. The back yard is large and guest are free to access it if and when they want. There is one parking slot per room and there is no parking fee. A hot breakfast is included in the room rates. Our room rates are below market average and are based on amount we would be willingly pay if we were on a vacation. Being our home we are concerned about the guest profile. Hence we do not subscribe to automated reservations but revert to each inquiry so we can address individual queries and also advise of the house rules. It also helps us maintain lower rates. Please also read our reviews on Google, BB Canada and Airbnb. NOTL is an excellent place (and many say preferred place) to stay in even if your main purpose of visiting the region is to see the Niagara Falls. The Niagara Falls is approx. 25 km away / 25 minute drive. While at NOTL you should plane to visit some of the historic sites, the butterfly conservatory, the wineries, theater, etc. Cycling, walking the trails of the Niagara Glen or spending time in the lawns along the Niagara Parkway are another activity many of our guest like doing. Hence we recommend that you look at a minimum three day stay in NOTL.

This B&B was spotless! The owners friendly and accommodating. Our room (orange pekoe) was spacious and the bathroom more modern than I had expected. Toiletries were provided, tea, teakettle and a Brita filter for water. My only complaint was I was chilly as I am not used to Air conditioning in my bedroom. The breakfast was a little overwhelming- a full breakfast accompanied by assorted homemade muffins, jams. Individual French press coffees. Perfect if you enjoy a big breakfast. Owners provide crochet slippers to were while inside the house- as there is a no shoes policy. I would happily stay there again.

Great hospitality. Everything was just as the listing described. The hosts went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed and accommodating to our needs. The best breakfast I've ever had. Definitely worth it and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy bed and breakfast in the Niagara region.

Pran and Kads were exceptional hosts. We happened to arrive four hours before check in, but they still invited us in, finished cleaning the room, and then let us check in and leave our things before our nearby activities began (namely, seeing two shows at the Shaw Festival). The next morning, they served us and their other guests a sumptuous seemingly bottomless breakfast (taking into account all of our various food restrictions), and were delightful conversationalists. Their other guests were just as kind as Pran and Kads. In summary, it was perhaps the best B&B experience we’ve ever had.

Our return visit to the Tea Cosy had been delayed due to Covid travel protocols but we were finally able to return to this lovely Bed and Breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Kads and Pran and felt as though no time had passed. We stayed in the Earl Grey room which is very spacious with many details to appreciate including a very comfortable king sized bed, soft linens and a great view of the backyard garden. The bathroom is well stocked with toiletries, hair dryer, great lighting and mirrors.
The breakfasts prepared by Kads and served every morning by both Kads and Pran were delicious and presented very beautifully often with some fresh vegetables or fruit along with her home made muffins. They also offer many varieties of home made jams to complete the meal. Such a pleasant way to begin your day.
We did see one of the many theater performances and found it to be very enjoyable and so professionally done.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Niagara on the Lake and highly recommend the Tea Cosy and the perfect hosts Kads and Pran.

Spent 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The Darjeeling room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed, with a huge and beautifully appointed bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, a hot freshly prepared and copious start to the day, featuring Kads' vast selection of home-made jams and marmalade, a selection of fresh muffins, and excellent French press coffee (or tea ... of course). Kads and Pran were warm and gracious, very helpful and informative. We've recommended this B&B many times to friends.

Had a lovely stay at the Tea Cosy. The house is recently renovated, all the rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. Kads and Pran were excellent hosts. They have a few house rules, but nothing outside of the ordinary (they all basically boil down to ‘be respectful of the property and neighbours’, which I don’t think is asking too much!). Great hospitality, great sense of humour and above all great breakfasts with a fabulous assortment of homemade jam that was an absolute treat. Location is good - quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance of anything you might need.

This was our second stay with Kads and Pran and once again we loved every minute of it! The house is spotless and comfortable, located close enough to walk to downtown. The rooms are good sized all with ensuite bathrooms. Ours had a huge walk in shower with a rainfall shower head. Kads breakfasts are amazing, you will never leave the table hungry! Everything is homemade from scratch and absolutely delicious. We will never stay anywhere else when we go to NOTL!!!
