If you are camping in the tent area be prepared to be smushed up against your neighbours. Its not a lot to yourself camp. The port-o-potty by the tents was almost full and was all you could smell in the tent area.also, the noise. You get the weekenders that have trailers and party all night, ruin nature with their stupid outdoor star lights and drown out your own happy space.
If you can forget about the tent area of the camp tho it really is a nice place, there are nature trails with lookouts over the marsh, a beautiful lake to swim/fish in. The only heads up about the washrooms by the beach tho is that they are shared with the public beach and are always filthy. The showers are in there as well, only 2 per gender and yes they are also filthy. Wow, reading back on this it really all dose seem negative! The positives are the people when you walk through camp are always nice and you get many kind greetings. As I said, the beach and the marsh, which really is beautiful. The town is really close with all you might need.
Its a good place to stop for a night if you are traveling and doing it KOA style but if you want peace don't go here. To many people squished together in a very small space.

Since the campground is in the village it makes it easy to access anything you may need. Stores and services are close by. Beach area is well kept. Playground area is adequate for younger children. There are trails for walking or biking nearby. Could use a little tighter policing of noise.

We visited this campground last weekend. It's in a lovely area and the park itself is in a nice location. We were lucky enough to be on a back row so we faced a marsh area - nice view. It was easy to ride our bikes through the park, on the trail and into town. We were VERY disappointed with the washroom situation. The washrooms are shared by the beach visitors, so they get dirty quickly. There are only 2 showers (2 for women, 2 for men) for the whole park and the set up is super awkward. We ended up buying a portable shower to use instead. Also found it difficult to reach someone while calling - trying to book. They never answer the phone. The store closes at 4pm so make sure you have your wood/ice before then!

Fun weekend camping here, enjoyed a bonfire with the family. Nice lake to swim at with a good size beach for everyone. You can kayak or canoe easily off the beach. We would visit this campgound again.

We come to this park because it’s the perfect location, close to family. Nice size sites, clean washroom, and great beach area, nice sand and water.. great location for walk into town. Returning next week.
