We stayed as a team for a hockey tournament. We upgraded to a suite which was very spacious for our family of 6. The suite has a mini fridge which didn't work well. Apparently the regular rooms don't have them and you can rent them, which I wouldn't recommend based on the size an efficiency of the one in situ in our room.

Our original suite had a broken mattress, the entire side was collapsed so the first night sleep wasn't very good. When we asked them to bring a new mattress they said we had to move rooms which was NOT convenient at all and they moved us down floors vs up which was also poor taste. (I would have preferred just swapping out the mattress which would have had them doing the lugging rather than me).

There is a pool area for the kids of offload some energy however it is VERY hot in there, despite windows being open and the chlorine is INTENSE. My kids eyes were terribly red after they used the pool.

This hotel doesn't have community gathering spaces or conference rooms which isn't ideal when hosting hockey teams. Rather than putting in an overpriced IHOP it would be a better idea to invest in adding some of those which will increase satisfaction for all of your patrons.

Parking is $15 per car per night. There is a shuttle that takes you to the Sheraton. You get a small page of restaurant coupons include $30 off at the Keg, which is great. You can walk easily from this location down to Clifton Hill.

While I am happy to hear you enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, I can understand the frustration of having a deficient mattress and for this I apologize. I have shared your comments with our Director of Front Office so he can inform the agents to give the guest a choice. Some guests wish to stay in the current room rather than switch and it is a case by case basis. I have further shared your comments with our Maintenance manager to ensure that the pool systems are operating efficiently. We will review our maintenance logs to ensure we are in proper order and conduct tests to verify our findings. We do not want this experience to repeat itself in the future. We are currently renovating our guestrooms in Tower B which provide an even more spacious room layout. It is more conducive to having sporting teams and the guest rooms allow for gatherings. Our family stayed here with a groupon in Jan 2020. The hotel is in walking distance (10-15 min with kids) to almost all attractions. You cannot see the Falls from this hotel but we walked there easily. Tower A has the pool and lobby. Try to avoid Tower B as it is under construction and is in reality a 2nd older hotel next door.
Parking is extra per day but you are only charged once per day. We left our vehicle here and walked. We did see security in the lot from time to time.
Staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel is up to date and clean. We asked for a cot for an additional $15. We actually avoided using most of the "free" vouchers they gave as they are for discounts to the most expensive restaurants.
I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed in the main building (not tower B) in a King room with jetted tub.

PROs: Room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was attentive and pleasant. Location is off the main strip but walking distance to most things (including the casino, Skylon Tower and the falls)

CONs: No microwave, no mini fridge, no safe. TVs are older and smaller models with under 35 channels and no streaming services. Showers need some maintenance as you would turn the handle on, it would turn itself off, very annoying. From staff ladies were constantly and loudly complaining about employees and guests even while we were there, this was very off-putting. Also quick note this is not a falls view, we knew that but heard others asking...

Dinner Spots: Forget the Keg eat at the Skylon revolving restaurant, we did both and say with full confidence that the Skylon was much better; unbeatable views, amazing service, incredible food, and large portions. If you go for the 4:30 or 5:00 early dinners you get 3 courses for $45.

Breakfast spots: IHOPs are everywhere down here but incredibly overpriced. ALMACs all you can eat breakfast is 3min walk away and seems cheap but drinks are expensive, even water is $3. Just a little further is Cippys which is fantastic and decent prices, but they are not always open so check ahead. The Regal dinner is also good, but also not always open.

I have stayed at this property several times before, and these have all been positive experiences.   But this time we  were put in "Tower B" which should be called "Tower F" for Fail, and  is totally different from the main building... in a bad way.  No couch or fridge in the room, and basically it was a run down and depressing building, not physically connected to the actual hotel where the front desk and cafe and pool etc. are located.  Since there was no fridge in the room it would have been nice to keep beverages cool on the balcony, but the balcony was boarded shut due to construction.   Looking out,  the view was plywood hoarding around the balcony, a massive construction site, and a very bright light on the balcony aimed directly into our unit (that we could not turn off).  I needed a beverage in the evening and found a pop machine on the lower level.  The machine took my $4.00  but every selection I tried came back "Sold Out". The coin return lever was broken so the machine kept my money.   We were charged about $30 for parking but could not find ANY spots after returning to the hotel after an outing.  But the worst part of the stay was that we  could not even have showers in the morning, as we could not get more than a tiny trickle of water out of the shower head.   For $400 for a night (it was New Years Eve)  I expect a working shower.  I called the front desk and they offered to move us to another room but that was an unsatisfactory solution as we were checking out an hour later. A maintenance person did show up and eventually replaced the (rusted out) shower head, which fixed the problem but at that point it was no use to us as we had to leave.  If I ever go back to this property I will call them in advance to confirm we will NOT be put in "Tower B"

Please note after making a room selection there is a photo of the room and the tower it is located in listed in the room description. I will see if we can create more differentiation. Wyndham Garden has expanded its operations to two towers. Tower B is currently undergoing a renovation to update the décor and furnishings of our guest rooms. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we undergo this transformation. The renovation will elevate your experience at the hotel regardless of which tower you occupy. We have a courtesy shuttle that transports our guests between buildings so there is easier access to amenities. Please see the front desk to request the shuttle. Mini-fridges are available upon request at the front desk, please inquire and we will deliver. My boyfriend and I used our Loyalty mailer discount at Wyndham Garden Niagara Falls. We requested to stay in Tower A as advised by other reviewers. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite free of charge! The room was amazing! Very spacious with a living room, 2 TVs,a hot tub, and fireplace. It was definitely fancy and a pleasant surprise. We got an early check in and a late check out as well!. This was surprising as we were staying during a very busy time. The staff were very nice and pleasant. They helped us with discount vouchers for attractions and gave us extra teabags in our room when we needed them. The hot tub was very clean. The only issue was the selection of tv channels. It was quite poor. Luckily we brought our own laptop and were able to watch our own shows/movies. I recommend parking at the hotel as opposed to the casino since you dont have guaranteed free parking at the casino even if you gamble a lot. We were stuck walking to and from the casino with no in and out privileges. I would stay at the hotel again! Great loyalty package, service, and hotel quality.

We had to ask to switch rooms twice because the rooms were extremely unhygienic, there were stains on the sheets, and mold on the jetted tub, we asked to switch rooms and were provided with an even worse room which had c*m stains on the side tables and around the tub, there was also pubic hair surrounding the tub. When asked to switch rooms again, they said we could stay in the room we have or go to the old room which was cleaned by housekeeping for less than 10 minutes. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 30 minutes just constantly switching rooms which were worse than the previous. When talking to the manager about their cleanliness policy and how the rooms should have been clean, to begin with especially during a time like COVID, the manager was extremely rude and told us that we could either stay in one of the two dirty rooms or leave. Both I and my partner are around immunosuppressed individuals and having to stay in a hotel that does not abide by its cleanliness policy, especially in a pandemic where thousands of people are dying due to unhygienic practices is unacceptable. I hope that no one else has to stay at an atrocious hotel like this one.

They now have the old Best Western located right next door. They are doing construction on the old Bldg. but still are using the rooms in one bldg. We were located in the older bldg. The rooms are need of an upgrade for sure, which I'm sure they will eventually get. Our room had 2 beds and a balcony. It was very clean, internet was good. Check in is in the newer Wyndham next door. They had ear plugs availiable in our room ( construction noise ). I didn't really have a problem with noise. For the price I really can't complain and had no problems.

I visited this location on September 2-3rd. It’s a good location. Customer service was friendly. Went swimming (they currently offer appointments only max 30 minutes and only 7 people allowed at a time in pools) & only myself and who I travelled with were in the pool which was great. I went when it was quiet so no complaints in that regard. Our room was clean & got the room with the whirlpool in there.

ONLY negatives:
-IHOP service was awful, took long to get served.
-fridge rental is $20 (we just got ice in a bag to keep our things cool)

Parking is $20 plus tax & there’s a $50 charge to the card as well as some sort of daily activity fee. Overall a great price for a groupon trip.

It’s my second visit here, the first visit back in 2018 was nicer only bc our room was bigger and bed was comfier. Other than that, no complaints.

We are staying here as I write this. Initially we researched the possibilities in Niagara Falls on Booking.com. After choosing this hotel, and determining we wanted rooms with a city view, we called the Wyndham reservation number to actually make the reservation. The agent with whom we spoke verbalized understanding that we needed 2 rooms as we were meeting friends. We made it clear we wanted the city view as it looked over the parking lot and over to the tower and Clifton Hill. He assured us that is what both rooms would have and that the rooms would be located close to each other. Fast forward to arrival. Our friends were told not only was their room not close to ours, it was in an entirely different building. When we stated this wasn't acceptable, the employee checking us in basically shrugged it off. The manager came over and grudingly moved the second room back into our building but it was 3 floors up. No apology for screwing up the reservation. Upon arriving in our rooms, we found we did not receive the city view. We overlooked Stanley avenue and traffic. Hospitality definitely was lacking. As for the facility itself, the lobby area is small and definitely needs some updating. Not the most welcoming. I will say the rooms were nicely appointed with a pleasing color palette and as pictured. They were spotless. We don't know if this is across the board in Canada (we are American), but they told us at check in that housekeeping staff is not permitted to enter the occupied rooms and if we did need anything to please call the front desk and they would send someone up with the replacements. Overall, we felt the value for the money was good, and the location was within walking distance to the casino and many restaurants. IHOP is in the building. While there wasn't anything really wrong with the facility, based on not getting the location we wanted and the screw up with our friends, I think on our next trip we will be willing to pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The hotel is at a good location, the room was big. But the bed was uncomfortable and the carpet in the room smell. The room doesn't come with a window to open do it trap all the smell and the dust in it. Also the room doesn't come with a microwave or a fridge, you have to pay extra for the fridge.

They cancel them because they want people from other countries to stay for free at their hotel. I've been a guest at their hotel for over 10 years and enough is enough. I now stay at another hotel that told me they won't be doing that to me or other guests. I suggest you do the same and don't even bother with this hotel anymore.

I don't stay at this hotel anymore. I had enough and didn't like being cancelled then moved to another hotel and i'm glad the other hotel told me exactly the reason. But was lied to by Wyndham staff why I was being moved. Found out they also cancelled my people I brought to their hotel as I spoke highly of the hotel. But now and anyone else that wants to go will be going to a new hotel I stay at from now on.
