It’s not easy to find a hotel in the $100 range for a Saturday night. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the large clean room (In the tower... not the 2 story inn part). Would certainly recommend this hotel. The staff were very helpful and upgraded us to the updated tower rooms for free and free coffee was available in the lobby. Short walk to casino.

We had 2 double beds, fridge and coffee maker.

The only negative is that they didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner. Instead there was a multiuse gel that was to serve as busy wash, shampoo and conditioner all in one. Also the furniture was a bit beat up.

Give this place a try!

The price is great. The location is nice. Its not right in the heart of things but is in walking distance to the falls or casino if you are good for a few good blocks. It is bare bones with no extras. There was no pool . That being said we did not need anything else as you can get anywhere in walking distance .( beer store, gas station, Tim Horton all withing a block) Beware you do have to pay $10 for parking. It is clean and I would say it is in the middle of renovations. While they do have coffee it is in the office. The rooms do not have coffee pots. Each room does come with a microwave and small fridge and freezer combo. Upon checking in the desk clerk was very short and unpleasant. I hope this had to do with the people that checked in before us. The checkout person was much more pleasant.

Lovely building. Looks well maintained outside. Nice lady at reception. Reception area is organized and clean. You can see they have several security cameras in the area. Very well lit. Microwave and fridge were pluses. Great location to restaurants, the hill & the falls. HOWEVER, the rooms need deep cleaning. The corners had built-up dirt, the walls and doors need cleaning, the tub needs replacing, the hot and cold taps in the sink were reversed, the shower curtain needs replacing. (That's why hotels have cloth curtains; they can be cleaned). There was a small couch in the room that obviously was missing a leg because it was on a slant. The surfaces were clean and I know this because the first thing I do when we go away is clean surfaces and the remote. The sheets were crisp and clean. All it takes to see the things that need work is to open your eyes. Fix the leg on the couch or replace the couch! Clean the scuff marks! Scrub the corners of the floor! We won't be back.

Due to a power outage, our Airbnb was cancelled 24 hours before we were to arrive on a Saturday in Niagara Falls in August. Yikes! Many of the hotels I looked at online were way too pricey and I was worried about ending up at a scuzzy hotel if I paid too little. This hotel was perfect for our needs. It was affordably priced and the room was clean and comfortable. There weren't a lot of frills at this hotel but we had everything we needed. Parking was just $10 per day, which is as good as you'll get in Niagara Falls. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a budget hotel. This place was budget clean with a free budget breakfast. Therefore, we give this place a budget hotel rating.

You pay for what you get. We felt safe at the hotel, clean enough where you don't mind taking your shoes off when you come in and the breakfast they fed us was edible, dry pancakes, value cereals - but the coffee was horrid. Tasted like stale decaf. Needless to say the breakfast did not play a favorable part in the overall experience.

Would we consider coming back? Maybe, but it's not a place we would prioritize on a future visit to the Falls.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay for a night or two, then this place will be fine. The motel is quite old fashioned, but perfectly safe. It’s nearby to the tourist attractions nearby and a lot of people will park at the hotel and walk towards the tourist areas.

Our room was quite big really… for such a small price anyway! The housekeeping department is the only let down for this hotel. Our bed sheets were not clean. It was covered in long stanky hairs and pubic hairs were pretty much every where. One of the bed sheets also had a cigarette burn (so much for a non-smoking room). The floors were by far the dirtiest part of the room. They were dirty everywhere and we had to wear shoes in the room to minimise our contact with the floors!

There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. I did see some in the main lobby though (I presume they wouldn’t have minded if I took one- but didn’t want to assume).

The shower wasn’t great. Not particularly strong and very retro! It looked like a jacuzzi that was on its side! Very strange, but I didn’t hate it!

There was a microwave, hairdryer, basic amenities, tv with a selection of channels. The view wasn’t up to much, but I still felt very safe and would recommend a stay if you’re looking to save money and intend on spending the majority of your time outside of the room!

Parking was reasonable; $10 a night!

We booked this hotel last minute late evening through Hotels.com as a sporting event we were attending ran later than expected and we were tired.
Front reception on check-in and out were pleasant and friendly. Our room was very clean, but very basic. Beds comfy, linens clean.
Furnishings were a bit dated but in good repair. We liked that we could turn our thermostat down as we like to sleep cool.
It would have been nice to have some art on the walls, it is very spartan.
Only MINOR complaint is that blackout drapes in these rooms would be nice. We were getting light from both ends of the room (room 226).
It was as we expected and wanted ... clean, quiet, comfortable.

We were given the room right beside the front reception. We asked for another room but the lady at the front desk said she didn’t have any other rooms so we decided to give it a try. The noise was unbearable! We could hear people talking loudly right outside our front door, not to mention people coming and going because they used their parking lot as a public parking space. We asked again for another room but they did not offer us any recourse. At 2:00 AM we decided to pack up and leave. When I called the hotel the next day, I was told the Manager wasn’t in and to call back. I called back for 4 days and got the same answer. This is THE WORST customer service experience by far not to mention THE WORST visit to any hotel I’ve been to. The rooms are outdated and there wasn’t even a holder for the toilet paper. If you want to have a nice, relaxing stay, DO NOT visit this place.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. Firstly I would like to apologize for the issues that you have experienced through out your stay. With regards to being refused to change rooms was because we were fully booked and that we had no room to switch over. I understand your frustration and I know how important a good night sleep is. I am very sorry about the noise from the neighboring guest and also about the parking situation. Honestly I was not aware about the number of times you had called. We do get a lot of phone calls from Marketing company wanting to speak to the Manager. This might have been the reason the staff didn't take it serious when you had called multiple times. I truly apologize for all the inconveniences caused and I hope you give us another chance so we can make your stay better.

Don't normally trash a place, but Falls Lodge failed on all counts. Scary first room with black mold in shower, broken furniture and reeking rug. Asked to move in the nearly empty motel. After arguement, got put in a room under renovation missing any clothes hang-up or hairdryer, with a howling AC. No room housekeeping (COVID excuse), so wet towels and refuse hung around for three days. Wi-FI did not work in room; needed to go outside. Don't fall for selective photos and sparkling (?) reviews. A very tired place with unprofessional management.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We really apologize the room you booked did not meet expectations. However we did give you a free upgrade to our newly renovated jacuzzi. Not to mention you were being very rude to the staff. We work very hard to make all our customers leaving happy. All the pictures on the website are taken from the phone and not photoshopped and all our reviews are from our customers who did enjoy their stay which indeed shows our work. Housekeeping service for guest staying multiple nights has been temporarily suspended due to covid this is for your safety as well for the safety of our staffs. But we still offer clean linens, towels, toiletries etc. Just one call at the reception could have fixed all these problems. We still appreciate your comments and will share these with our team so that we can continue to improve our services.
