I'm giving this a 5-star rating relative to other Best Western properties I've visited; this was easily the best. The gentleman at the front desk was splendidly helpful, and we did have a lot of questions: Is the guest laundry available? (It was.) Can you give me change, in quarters, from an American $20 bill to pay for the guest laundry. (Yes, but without consideration for the favorable American exchange rate, but I was in no mood to quibble over a few bucks). Can you direct us to the on-site electric vehicle charger? (He walked my friend out the front door to show him exactly where it was.) The desk clerk was patient and cheerful in allowing me (during a lull in lobby traffic) to trade in my accumulation of small Canadian change into Loonies, and the growing number of Loonies into bills. The room was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was good and the included breakfast buffet was fine (and would have probably been better had we not waited until the last minute). The hotel seemed pretty new and is convenient to the 401 expressway as well. One oddity: The fact that our room # was 3xx didn't mean we were on the third floor (which doesn't exist). It's simply the 300 wing (which happens to be on the ground floor). Your desk clerk was clear this up for, and heck, this property isn't so vast that you will stay puzzled for long.

Basic hotel on the outskirts of the city.
Stayed in a double queen room on the first floor.
Room wasn't very big,and very poor lighting,
This had to be the smallest shower I have ever seen,every company tries to cut their costs,eventually there will only be a toilet and handwash sink.
Front desk guy on the night shift was nice,
Arrived in room to find half a roll of toilet paper and one tissue left in the box. Called desk,promptly brought one roll and one box..for a family of 3.
Room was dusty,and we were greeted by a fly,that was buzzing around most of the night.

my daughter.
Free Breakfast was decent,served on a table due to the ridiculous government covid rules...time to end this mask wearing nonsense.
Would have been nice to actually sit at a table and eat my breakfast rather than in our room.
Milk and juices weren't very cold,and some hazardous foods were not kept under ice as required by health department codes and food safety.
Was enjoying my breakfast until I was returning to my room and had to walk past a conversation between a manager and housekeeping employee, apparently she wasn't cleaning the rooms fast enough,not a conversation that should be taking place at the 100's room entrance..kind of unprofessional scolding an employee in plain sight and hearing distance from hotel guests. Was very put off by that conversation experience.
I almost spoke up and was going to confront the manager and ask her if this was the proper place for employee discipline?...,but I did not want to embarrass the housekeeping employee any further than she was.
Very unpleasant and I had to explain to my five year old why the lady was upset with the other lady.
Perhaps if they weren't yelling at their staff the employees would have more time to clean the rooms,and I would have had toilet paper and tissues when I first checked in and no fly buzzing around in my room.
Probably would not stay at this hotel again,and with my unpleasant experience, will shy away from the Best Western named hotels elsewhere.

We do make clear that our hotel is off the highway and on the outskirts to ensure that we meet our guests location expectations. Our online presence also shows details photos of the room so that we can manage expectations. We are a three star, mid-scale hotel and we try to be the best in that category. This hotel is an oasis just outside of London, Ontario. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, the wifi is powerful and easy to use. We had a great sleep in the bed, which was just right. Plenty of nice products in super-clean bathroom. That said, the staff make the place, starting with Alonso at the front desk last night when we pulled in, exhausted off the 401, uncertain what to expect. He treated us with courtesy and warmth, going so far as to run upstairs to check our room after he checked us in to be sure we were comfortable. I was astonished! We received similar kind attention from Denisse at the complimentary breakfast in the cafe this morning. She started by informing us that there would be no buffet, but the chef would be making our breakfast to order. It arrived piping hot and was delicious. The eggs were perfect and the potatoes were hot. Denisse gave us the same feeling of warmth and courtesy that we had experienced with Alonso. We'll be back on our way home.

The day time staff were extremely rude and passive. While waiting patiently as 2 customers were already at the counter, the girl behind the desk leans around and looks at me and says "um can I help you with something?" In a very rude tone. I said I just need to check into my room. She did not respond or acknowledge what I said and went back to helping the 1st customer.
The night time/ early morning staff were incredible. When I called to ask to borrow chairs for getting ready for my wedding the man I talked to had them at our door in under 5 minutes.
I booked a whole block of rooms as most of my guests came from out of town. When I or any guest asked about early check in the staff were extremely rude saying "we don't do that here". Check in was supposed to be 3 but as guests were arriving they were told they were not allowed to check in until 4. Many were also told over the phone that it was okay to arrive early as some rooms are cleaned they are able to fill them. But at arrival were told otherwise (again I would say very rudely)

Drove several hours to attend a wedding in the area. The wedding paid for shuttles to the venue and were told the rooms would be ready before 2PM so everyone out of town could get ready prior to the ceremony. The cermony was at 315PM. Was greeted by an EXTREMELY rude staff member and "the Manager" (Looked like a guy from Mami Vice) and was told the check in time was 4PM and we were "Screwed" but were welcome to check in at 1am when we returned. Came to this hotel for a night with my family. Our room smelled of old musty clothes, addressed with front desk and they sprayed the room. Which didn't do a thing for the odor, had to rewash our bags and clothing once we were home, the smell was so bad. No hot water for shower, and toilet would barely flush. Room was run down... I would xpect the same at a motel. Came to lobby in morning for "hot breakfast" it was 9am and breakfast was to be served until 10:30 am. Breakfast was a glorified continental breakfast, and hot food was put in containers.. which there were only two left and we were told there would be no more food available. For was soggy and bland. We will never visit this location again. And I'll be sure to not recommend in future to anyone looking for a nice stay at a hotel. This is not the place to go.

Stayed 1 night here, the hotel is great and has an elevator for the 2nd floor (and stairs). The parking lot is large which was good as we had a trailer. The room was clean and nice. Every staff person we met was friendly and helpful. There is an attached restaurant, it is clean and service is excellent. However the Supper was disappointing, the main dishes had hardly any meat in them, compared to other Italian restaurants (Olive Garden), and nothing included with the main dish. There are not any other restaurants close by, and we had a trailer, so tried the restaurant for supper. For the included breakfast the restaurant is great, lots of choice, buffet style, and coffee and juice is served by a staff member.

We had a very comfortable four night stay at this BW in St Thomas. Staff were very helpful right from our initial phone call request for a room, EV charging during our stay to check out extended by one day. All staff were very pleasant, professional and welcoming.

I am a diamond select member and have stayed at many Best Westerns, especially the last several years since retiring. The Best Western Hotels in the USA should stay here to learn what overall service and cleanliness is all about!!! Staff was excellent, polite, dressed professionally!! Excellent breakfast and the restaurant that is attached is great! Hands down the best Best Western we have ever stayed at!
