Nice rooms. They have a little shop for simple things like charging cables, snacks and ice cream. No prices so maybe free? But don’t tell them I said so:)
They have EV charging but we didn’t use them because when we get to a hotel we just want to get to our room and crash not download an app and set up an account.

When creating an account verification codes are sent to both the email address and cell phone number. This is completely unnecessary these days with standard two factor authentication systems available that generate codes without any personal information.

Dear Rguptaca, Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to leave a review from your stay! It's great to hear you enjoy our suites. Having the suite shop is very convenient for our guest in case they forgot to bring something along or looking for a midnight snack. We usually have the price list hanging up on our wall that show the price including tax, so you know how much something cost- we are currently updating that pricing list as there were several new items added to our shop. I will definitely pass your comment on about the charging station to our General Manager and perhaps she can follow up with the company that provided the EV charging stations. We unfortunately don't have control over them, so it's not something we could do ourselves. I hope to welcome you home again, should your travels bring you back to the area.

I don't travel far very often, so when I need to get away from my regular routine, this is where I go. Their rooms are very spacious, bright, and CLEAN. And during this pandemic, they clean their rooms even more with Lysol. They even put the TV remotes in plastic bags - giving you the option to touch the remote or not (even though they will be wiped down after every guest visit). The rooms really feel like your own little apartment. The staff are always super helpful, friendly and give a warm welcome upon check-in and every time I have a question. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and during covid, and have not been disappointed. They were a super clean hotel before and have only enhanced their measures to continue following public health guidelines. I have full confidence in this hotel and their staff. Special shout out to housekeeping who takes out all my recycling/garbage if I stay for multiple nights, and for wiping down every inch of those rooms and common areas <3 I cannot say enough about this hotel - I absolutely love it.

We hard a large group and this was the perfect hotel. Room are well appointed with Kitchen items (dishwasher with a pod, dish soap, containers, pots, pans, strainer, cutting board etc. Bathrooms have pumps for S&C, hand soap, cream and body wash. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great lots to choose from (Eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, bananas, apples, cereal, oatmeal... you will find something you like. They even have a great little store. I've never seen a hotel have so much selection like this. Was perfect when you we were running late for a game and you need Gatorade and some snacks.
Pool was clean and nice, would like a hot tub but that's just me being picky. Even with a packed hotel.. it didn't feel like it.
I've stayed at over 5 hotels in this area and hands down this is the best. It has everything and more. Paying a small bit extra was so very worth it.

I take pride in offering a wide variety of items in our suite shop and keeping it well stocked for guests. Years ago we used to have a hot tub, but then Hilton made some changes and no longer wanted hot tubs with our pool, so we had to remove it however we do offer jacuzzi suites. I know it's not the same and might not be as enjoyable if you're travelling as a family lol. I do look forward to welcoming you home again soon.

It might be odd to write a review prior to my stay at the hotel, but I want other travellers to be aware when they call the 1 800 booking number. What should’ve been a straight forward experience was nothing but a hassle that felt like a scam in the end.
When the operator answered my call it was obvious that I had reached a call centre somewhere in the states. I was a little concerned but carried on. The conversation with the person was awkward and stilted as I found they were often talking over me. Even though I asked explicitly if my card would be charged prior to my arrival, I was never told if it would be. I was also told that I had until Wednesday at midnight to cancel my reservation for Saturday with no fee or penalty. As the final step of the booking process I was made to listen to a sales pitch encouraging me to lay down $200 for a future stay at random locations throughout the southern US.
When checking my credit card statement the following day I discovered the charges had already been made to my credit card as well as some nickel and dime charges that were not explained to me. I booked two hotel rooms and each one was charged separately although at a somewhat higher rate even with taxes factored into the total. There was also a separate charge for $5.50. When I phoned the hotel directly no one could tell me what the $5.50 charge was for. When they broke down the cost of the room and the taxes on the amount there was still a discrepancy of a few dollars. I was told this was a deposit for any incidentals I might incur while staying at the hotel. So now I’m being charged for any potential room service? I was told the fee would be removed if I didn’t use those services during my stay. But I object to being charged for something that wasn’t authorized in the first place. Now it is up to me to check that those extra few dollars are removed from my bill upon check out
The icing on the cake was when I tried to cancel the reservation well before the Wednesday midnight deadline and was told that because I had been given an advanced booking there was no refund! I have no idea what the advanced booking program is but I certainly wasn’t made aware of it when making my reservation. I phoned the one 800 number and I phoned the hotel and no one has been able to address my concerns. I was shuffled through the system and at the end of the line was left leaving a message for someone who apparently had the authority to fix the situation. And the final insult? Each person I spoke to tried to put me back in touch with the special bonus offer of a stay at one of their southern US hotels for only $200.
There is no way I will book this chain of hotels ever again in the future.

Check was good and Elizabeth was so helpful and friendly! There is a ton of parking. The included breakfast was nice. As long as there's a waffle maker, my son is happy. Nice juice selection, bread and bagels, yogurt, a few hot selections, fruit and cereal. The room was a really nice size and our complimentary upgraded suite was so quiet. The towels were white and soft and clean. The bedsheets were disastrous! They had holes were so worn. The fitted sheet wouldn't stay on as the elastics were stretched out. There was only a duvet cover, no duvet inside?! There were big bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner, nice touch. The curtains needed to be cleaned, they were very dusty. The debit machine didn't work the whole weekend so I had no choice but to use a credit card.

Stayed here for two nights during March Break! It was a fun trip! Our room was comfortable and clean. However, the pool was very cold. Our 3 year old daughter couldn’t stay in for more than a few minutes at a time. Luckily, there was a shower beside the pool that we used as a makeshift splash pad. We requested multiple times (as well as other families requested) to have the pool heat turned up. It wasn’t until the end of our stay that the staff tried to turn up the heater. Unfortunately the pool didn’t get warmer and was still cold. The pool was the primary reason for our family stay so it was kind of disappointing! We were impressed by the $50.00 visa voucher we gifted during our stay and liked that it wasn’t crowded.

Dear rayrayFAB, Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It's wonderful to hear that your suite suited your needs. Our houseperson who takes care of the pool during the week was monitoring the temperature and the pool was 80 degrees when he came in Monday morning. We did try to turn it up when guests started to complain, which in a 24 hour period the temperature will only increase by 1-3 degrees. However, when we test the chemical levels, if we need to add fresh water adn chemicals to the pool, that will bring the temperature back down again, which is what happened during March break as the pool was being used more, and more fresh water was being added to the pool. That was very creative of you to utilize the shower as a splash pad for an alternative. We do hope if you are in the area again, you will consider giving us another try!

We were very disappointed - the pool and gym were closed but did not mention this on the website or when we checked in.
We came for a family Christmas with our Grand children who live down the road .
We were hoping to go swimming .
When I mentioned this to the receptionist when we were checking out she told me they offered to wavier the cancellation fee - no one mentioned this to us until we checked out .
Very disappointed because it is much more expensive then other hotels in the area

We did offer all guests the opportunity to cancel their reservations with us understanding that the pool could impact your stay. The closure was due to a burst pipe that was caused by the extreme cold. It was unforeseeable and unfortunately, we could not get a proper diagnosis or parts until the 29th due to the holidays. Since we could not fix the problem the best we could do was be upfront about our challenge and as noted allow for free cancellation for those that needed a pool and I'm sorry that wasn't communicated to you. I do hope you would be willing to give us another try if you are in the area again.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been staying at The Hilton Homewood Suites for approximately 6 months. Every day and with every interaction with the various staff, is amazing. It truly feels like a home away from home. Everyone is friendly, warm and welcoming. I can say through observation the staff works incredibly hard to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment in these very different times (COVID).
A special thanks to: from the front desk: Vanessa, Bev, Missy, Julia, Elizabeth, Anola, and Jennifer, since day 1 of my stay you have all brought a smile to my face and made me feel safe, and not once did I feel like a bother, From Housekeeping: Jenn K, Judy, Claudette, Becky , Lori, Mary, Lisa and Tim for all their hard work in keeping this hotel super clean and sanitized, and functional, from Food and beverage: Jan, Maddie and Debbie, awesome job, from Maintenance: Dilly, so great at trying to make sure everything works.
Though my situation is different from most who stay here, I can honestly say I have seen many different situations since being here and all the staff handle everything with professionalism and sincerity. It is clean, affordable and very pleasant place to stay.
Though I am used to living in a very quiet secluded world, it is tempting to write a bad review to ensure this continues :-) ..but this hotel and all the staff are truly amazing and I can't lie, it is just a great place to stay.

NO there is no hot tub and the pool is not heated,
Doors are not locked at night
No they don't have smoking rooms, i asked when i checked in and the answer was no
Yes a huge bedroom on each side of living room and kitchen. Nice bathroom in each room and flat screen tvs in both bedrooms and in living area. Also dvd player in living area and free dvds by front desk you can sign out. Kitchen is great, full size fridge, dishwasher and cook top stove. Great place👍
