The Bayside Inn has been catering to visitors for over 100 years. We are located on Digby's waterfront with a panoramic, unobstructed view of the Annapolis Basin. All the comforts of home! My husband and I stayed at Bayside for 2 nights while visiting family. Angela was very welcoming and accommodating as we arrived later than originally scheduled - thank you for being so understanding! That being said, Angela set the tone for our stay. The Inn is beautifully furnished with antique and vintage pieces. The sitting area and dining room was bright and sunny. Breakfasts were very tasty and well presented. Our room was perfect! Relaxing and comfortable with an amazing view of the harbour. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Inn to anyone and everyone! Thank you, Angela, for a wonderful experience! We will be back!

This lovely location hosted our first girlfriend getaway since Covid19 changed our world. It was a great choice with great attention paid by our friendly host on cleanliness and following public health protocol while also making us feel very welcomed.
Our room was clean and the beds really comfortable. I appreciated the choice of pillows on my bed, from fluffy to firm, as I am fussy about pillows.
The breakfast was tasty and provided out on the sun room with ample room between us and other visitors. Fluffy pancakes and bacon, after yogurt and muffins, were a great way to start our day.
My suggestion:include a Saturday night stay as right outside the door is a great farmers market on Sunday starting late morning. We strolled and bought some local crafts and food that are unique to this market.
We will definitely return😊

The room was a great size (room 1) with a lovely view of the harbor and a very short walking distance to the restaurants and shops. The hostess was very friendly, helpful and she did a wonderful job of making us feel safe with the cleanliness and the COVID restrictions in place. The breakfast was delicious and on one of the days we had to leave early for whale watching and she very kindly offered to put us together a packed breakfast, which was delicious.

An old Victorian house renovated with visitors' comfort as the priority. Rooms are large, have comfortable sitting chairs and a private use bath (ours was outside in the hall, most are ensuite). Public rooms for sitting or reading with friends have views of the water just across the road. Breakfast is served. Fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins and we had also bacon and french toast with maple syrup. Bayside Inn is across the road from a park on the water so easy walking to everything in Digby. A perfect spot for a night or two.

Being in the hospitality industry on Canada's BC coast, my friend and I took a pre-Summer adventure trip to experience the Nova Scotia coast. We booked our accommodations in Digby with Angela well ahead to stay at Bayside. Her positive and accommodating way on the telephone told me that this would be the perfect place to stay.
The heritage nature of Bayside and its proximity to the harbour really added to the atmosphere. We both noticed the attention to detail and cleanliness that their team did not miss. Our rooms were comfortable, well ventilated to the fresh ocean air, quiet and the included breakfast, delicious. Thank you!

We had a two night stay at the Bayside Inn in mid-December, 2020. It was an awesome experience. The Inn is in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and pubs in downtown Digby (not that we experienced much in the way of shopping or outside dining, given these times we are in...). The Inn is very stately with great furnishings and very nice common areas. The rooms are large and the bed is extremely comfortable. A hot breakfast was included and served each morning by our host/property owner, Angela. She really made the experience so great - very friendly and personable. It is easy to tell that her heart and soul are in it! We even got a road report from her for our drive back home! We will definitely be back and are very much looking forward to it. Five stars for sure.

First of all, the host was exceptionally warm and inviting and helped set the tone for the rest of my trip!!
I stayed in room 9 on the third floor with beautiful view of the Annapolis Basin. The room was quite large and I was able to comfortably spend time with friends, without feeling cramped. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a long time.
The breakfasts were excellent and made me feel like I was home. Loved it.
I also couldn't get over how close we were to everything downtown.
If you're looking for great views with all the comforts of home, right in the heart of Digby, look no further. Bayside Inn is the place for you. I know I'll definitely be staying here again.

It was our first time staying at Bayside Inn & the perfect spot with the view of Digby Harbour. We golf at Digby Pines annually & this is an ideal place to stay. We were impressed with the nightly rate as we booked 3 weeks in advance of our stay. It was great to receive a 10% discount on our 2nd night stay by paying cash. We also used the 10% discount card to Shoreline Restaurant, great place to eat! The interior is tastefully decorated and spotless. The hospitality shown by owner Angela ( & Bobby) was top notch. Angela went above & beyond to accommodate my husband’s food allergy by making him dairy free breakfasts. We also noticed how friendly & accommodating staff were to us during our stay. It has been a very humid summer and this property has minimal air conditioning but we had a room on the water side with a ceiling fan which helped keep it cool. Bayside Inn is a beautiful old inn on the edge of Digby harbour that is so close to numerous seafood restaurants and historical sites plus museums. The inn itself is clean and very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable so our sleep a pleasant. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. The owner was very informative and pleasant to talk to while answering questions about local tourist sites. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer but plan to visit again

Followed Covid 19 protective procedures. Our room with Ensuite bathroom was quite large, the bathroom was very large. Inn was a good location to walk to shops and restaurants or a short drive grocery stores etc. Also right across the street from water. Nice breakfast with pleasant hostess. Very quiet this time of year but normally festivals and more before the pandemic. Town is great place to try Digby Scallops an other seafood.
