This was a great little hotel! We were in the area for our daughters wedding and stayed for a week.

A little grungy in the corners
Tip:
Brings lots of loonies and quarters - the bridges have a $1.25 toll there and back. It’s worth it when you’re paying less for a large room. And KOD across the street was good! And if you want to do the Halifax boardwalk, park at Salter Lot :)

My wife and I often stay here when we are in the Dartmouth area. Nothing fancy, but it fills all our needs. The location is good. You are very close to many restaurants and shops, but you are far enough outside of the downtown Halifax area that you don't need to worry about all the traffic and congestion. AC in our room worked great. Room had many amenities. Complimentary breakfast is fine, but the dining area gets very crowded very quickly. If you are looking for a basic place to stay at a decent price with plenty of amenities, this is the spot for you.

This is a very good Comfort Inn. The location is central to getting around. I had a king room on the ground floor. It was sizable and very comfortable. The hotel is clean and met my needs. The best part of the room was the sliding glass door. It provided easy access to the room to load/unload and also provided good airflow for fresh air. The breakfast box was ok: muffin, juice, yogurt, granola bar. I’m not sure why there were butter packets in the box. My only suggestion would be for them to add boiled eggs and fresh fruit to the breakfast. Otherwise, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

When we first started he breakfast boxes, we had not put the butter in the box, and most of the people would come back and ask us for butt, so we decided to add it into all boxes. As for the eggs, we have had them before, but it is difficult to get the individually wrapped eggs, on a regular basis. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

The staff were quite friendly and the room did have a fridge. The room itself was quite small, with the 2 queen beds, there was literally no place to sit even though there was a desk and chair. They do take pets which we needed as once we were evacuated due to the wildfires, it was why we took this place for two nights. We moved after we discovered that a few other places were offering solid discounts for evacuees, and we were offered nothing here.

Wifi did not work on any device. As I was grabbing a coffee I over heard multiple people complaining about the wifi not working at all. The front desk employees were friendly, not their fault. This is a management issue, fix the internet. Thanks.

Large, comfortable, clean room with comfortable bed, microwave, and fridge. Helpful staff at the front desk. Continental breakfast starts too late (7am) on weekends to access before flights. Also, no elevator so if stairs are hard or you have a lot of luggage, be sure to ask for ground floor room.

Water pressure was good. Room was clean. Price was decent for area. Continental breakfast included but not enough seating so you had to carry your food to your room. Air conditioner in room ran all night and noise of condenser prevented sleeping which is what one needs a hotel for.

We didn't have an international plan so we relied on wifi to connect to family and friends. The wifi was terrible here. We couldn't get our pictures to load, do video calling or watch any videos from our phones. The television options were good, there were a lot of channels. The room air wasn't study, we couldn't get the temperature adjusted. Breakfast options were good with hot options including sausage and eggs. Room was basic hotel room with standard amenities.

Good experience. Nice and clean hotel at a great price. It's not luxurious or anything special, but it was a great value for the money and it was clean and quiet. Staff were helpful as well. I liked the coin laundry as well. Became useful during our stay

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It seemed fine when we got there. The rooms were all clean and everything. The next morning I went down for the Continental Breakfast. I grabbed two small bowls of cereal and two small juices. I turned away and the next thing i know the hotel lady (who was very rude) was taking everything off my tray and telling me that i could only have one juice and one cereal. Apparently they poseted a sign in the corner of what you can have. I never saw it. The next morning I was looking at the bagels to see which kind I wanted. The same hotel lady literally took my hand out of the bagels and said "Hurry Up and choose one". I was very insulted. I told the front desk and they didn't do anything about it. I would never go there agian!!! The service was terrible. Every thing was crammed. There were no lights on the ceiling either. It was very dark most of the time.

Good Morning! Our Check In Time is 3pm and Check out is 11am. Should you require either an earlier check in or check out, please let us know. We will accommodate whichever we are able to.

They have one washer and one dryer. Both take $2 for a load. There is also a laundromat (inside a convenience store) across the street from the hotel that charges the same $2.
