We (a couple) stayed on 3 separate occasions this year for 2 days, 5 days and 7 days in a one bedroom suite. Each stay was terrific.
- Although the suites are dated, the bed on each occasion was comfortable. On the first stay (luckily the 2 night one) the TV was faulty .
- The suites are very spacious, clean and for the two longer stays were serviced each 2 or 3 days. All facilities were good.
- Free laundry service in the basement is excellent.
- Ideally situated in the very popular West End of Vancouver, close to Stanley Park, close to restaurants and shopping and ideally situated to walk all around Vancouver.
- For us, value for money was excellent.
- We plan to stay here again next year for about the same period.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Rosellen Suite at Stanley Park for 7 nights in December 2019. We have a wonderful experience, both at the hotel and the nearby Vancouver downtown.
1) Room : Clean and spacious. The building itself is relatively old, but everything inside is well maintained. We stayed in the 2 room, 3 bed suite (+1 sofa bed), it is spacious, the beds are comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and house keeping do our dishes everyday. My wife is very picky when it comes to hotel rooms and she is pleased.
2) Location : Located in West End District, 5 minutes walking to Stanley Park, 5 minutes walking to Robson street for best restaurants and shopping in downtown Vancouver. Taxi is very cheap to gastown, downtown, Chinatown and Shuttle services to Suspension Bridge, etc. Very convenient. West End itself is a nice and quite neighborhood, but minutes away from the busy area. Very nice.
3) Parking : They have an underground parking ($~20 a day extra), need to call ahead and reserve.
4) Management : Tag the manager and Kent are superb and very helpful. Tag spent almost 30 minutes at 11:00pm at night when we first checked in and give us numerous suggestions from good local restaurants and sight seeing route. Helped us with luggage and hiring taxis. Thank you!
5) Hour keeping : Comes everyday to do our dishes and keep things clean.
6) Laundry : 4 washers and 4 dryers at the basement can be used from 5:30pm to next morning. $2 each. I did 5-6 loads and never was a line.
All in all, we are very pleased with the Rosellen Suite at Stanley Park. Next time we come back we'll stay here again.

A wonderful little hotel with unrivalled customer service, particularly during recent difficult times. Our room, although a little dated, was well equipped and comfortable and was kept very clean by the wonderful housekeeping staff. We always opt for self catering, so it was ideal to have a separate kitchen area with full size fridge freezer and oven, as well all the other kitchen essentials. The location was perfect for us; right next to fabulous Stanley Park and only a couple of blocks from the beach, supermarkets and other amenities. A quiet residential location yet only a 20 minute walk into the centre of downtown. Parking is available if needed at an extra fee and the laundry area in the basement was spacious and only $2 per load. Great internet service and tv channel choice. We will return!

Excellent location and great management team, but our stay was not very relaxing because we had mice in our unit. We saw a mouse on three different occasions so we were pretty unnerved.
The management had already moved us once (because the original unit we were assigned had a really awful smell). One of the managers (Kent) moved us to an upgraded unit, and it was great. Until we saw a mouse on our first night. Kent came back afterhours and put mouse traps throughout the unit. The mice did not fall for it.
The next day we saw mice droppings in the living room, kitchen, and dining room (photos attached). We spoke with the other manager, Tag, who was also very helpful. He did explain that mice is sometimes to be expected since it is a metropolitan city, and he vacuumed the unit for us, and provided sheets so we can cover the furniture and sit on the couch. Basically, the management team did everything in their power to help, but of course, there’s not much they can do about the mice in the walls of the building.
We were offered to look at another unit should we want to move. We looked and saw a mousetrap under the couch of that unit, so we figured, what’s the point of packing up and moving again, if the mice was everywhere?
We decided to make the best of it. We bought some suggested repellents (peppermint oil, dryer sheets, and cayenne pepper), and placed them all over. We also had to wash the dishes before each use because we don’t know if any of the little buggers crawled on them. It was pretty hard to just take off your shoes and kick back, I didn't even want to think of anything running around me while I slept.
Anyway, as previously stated, the location is excellent. We felt safe walking at night. There were lots of local restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the park is pretty much at your backyard.
Would I stay at Rosellen Suites again? Maybe. If I can bring cats.

Our family with young children could not have asked for more during our stay at Rosellen Suites. The two bedroom suite was spacious and included a full kitchen. A self serve laundry room was available and Wifi was free and easy to connect to. The rooms were exceptionally clean and housekeeping contacted us to see if we needed anything. We were able to check in early after a long night of travel. Beautiful lost lagoon walk in Stanley Park almost at the front door and a short walk to stores with anything you need. The friendly staff offered help whenever needed. We will be back next time we are in Vancouver!

You can’t fault the location of this hotel, right on the edge of Stanley Park and 5 mins walk from all the restaurants on Denman leading down to the beaches. Situated in a lovely quiet, tree lined neighbourhood.
Whilst the building is obviously older, our apartment had recently been refurbished and was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Parking was included in our deal and was underground at the back of the building. The parking was a little tight but as it was operating at around

We stayed 3 nights in a two bed one bath suite # 308. A huge thank you for the upgrade as we only booked for a one bed suite.. this allowed our daughter to join us for the last 2 nights.
These accommodations are suburb, we loved the 1950 bones. The suite is well equipped with all essentials and you can not beat the location at the foot of Stanley Park.
The management is very lovely we will definitely be back soon.

We stayed here for 11 nights and loved it. The rooms, although a bit dated and in need of modernisation, were spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, pots & pans, etc. Also, there were dishwasher tablets there to use along with cloths to dry pots , if you wanted to. There was also a basket with tea, coffee, etc, and some microwave popcorn.
The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay meaning we got a restful night's sleep. There were extra pillows and blankets, if needed and plenty of fluffy white towels for the four of us, in the two bathrooms.
The reception staff were really helpful both on arrival and when we asked for some information. Also, they gave us a map of the city on arrival and highlighted some key things and information.
The best thing about this property is the location: about 100 yards from Stanley Park, a very short walk to the beach (turn right at Gilford) and also a quiet walk to Robson Square (all the way down Barclay, which is quiet and without the traffic of other roads and then cut across the couple of blocks at the bottom). I would recommend Rosellen suites and definitely stay here again.

Rosellen Suites is a great option for visitors looking to spend their time in downtown West End Vancouver. It is walking distance to everything and everywhere with Stanley Park just steps from Rosellen.
The staff were also fantastic! We got to connect with Tag, who is at the office, before our visit and he made sure we had everything we needed to support our comfort throughout the 8 days we spent at Rosellen. Everyday throughout our stay, we got to chat with him and he offered recommendations of spots we could visit to enjoy the city some more. Hana, who is in charge of house-keeping was also incredibly friendly, so was Kent, who is at the front desk as well.
Because of this memorable experience and its perfect location downtown, Rosellen is now one of our go-to options when visiting Vancouver. The price, staff friendliness and location are incomparable.

An excellent location if your thinking of exploring the sites of Stanley park and at the same time visit downtown Vancouver. A leisurely 15 minute walk gets you to the rose gardens, aquarium, totem poles or even the Stanley Park brewery.
Also for foodies, a 7-15 minute walk takes you to some authentic eateries along Denman.The rooms are well equipped if your doing takeaway for dining in your room.
The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet, you will notice birds chirping more than honking cars.
Also if you are a golfer type, bring a couple wedges and play the Stanley park pitch n putt, 10 minutes away.
Definitely a go to selection if we head downtown again.
Also for foodies, a 7-15 minute walk takes you to some authentic eateries along Denman.The rooms are well equipped if your doing takeaway for dining in your room.

A room assigned at check in simply means that in exchange for the best rate the hotel will assign a suite wherever they like. Thanks very much for choosing Rosellen as your Vancouver home.
1 bedroom suite with 1 queen bed in the bedroom and 1 queen sofa bed in the living room. Maximum 4 guests occupancy.
West End Community Center on Denman.
Thanks for your inquiry no safes in the suites. You can leave your valuables in the safe at the front desk if you prefer.

Thanks for your inquiry. For the month of May the extended stay rate for a 2-bedroom 1- bath classic suite is $349 per night and for a 2-bedroom 2-bath classic suite $399 per night. These rates are for a stay of 30 nights or more and when staying 30 nights or more there is no tax. Pets of all kinds are welcome in our classic suites and the pet fee for a 30 night stay is $75 plus tax. We do offer senior rates. However, the extended stay rates are already discounted and the senior rate does not apply.
