Located close to the beach and two blocks from downtown, it’s easy to explore this scenic area. In winter there are buses to the ski hills or it's a quick trip to a snowy hike in the hills. After a day of activity, you can return to our spacious hostel to hang out, relax and make new friends. We have a TV room, lounge with pool and foosball tables, a garden patio, and a huge kitchen to help make your stay a comfortable one. Our friendly staff will be happy to help answer questions or guide visitors to any one of the many activities available in Kelowna. There are an abundance of restaurants, pubs, breweries and clubs close to the hostel to suit all appetites.

This place was great! Definitely going back there again when I hit up BC. The staff are all friendly, the place is clean, and the facilities are great. There is plenty of space to make food and there is free breakfast in the mornings. 11/10

Clean simple rooms. Lockers large enough to put your whole backpack in. bring your own lock or buy one there. clean bathrooms with hot showers and super friendly helpfull staff. Large kitchen with all the basic utensils.

Friendly staff, free breakfast and clean/secure spaces. What more could you want for $28-$60 a night! Plus there is towel service and plenty of space to hangout. Want to go out? Its a short walk to pubs and activities or if your feeling a bit lazy, even shorter bus ride! Deffinitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay!

From reception to maintenance personell, everyone here is super helpful and friendly. Best weekend away Ive had in a while. Amazing outdoor patio and good vibes.
The beer fridge outside the kitchen is a great idea.
And even in corona times this place does not lack the social aspect of hostels. Lots of good people around and always a good conversation.

we were there for 2 nights , we enjoyed the big kitchen well equiped and the super nice outside patio to drink coffe in the morning. Bed were comfortable, it was clean and staff was great and welcoming . we were on the private room with washroom and it was just enough for us .

There are nicer hotels for the same price. The room wasn't very clean, the shower especially, I cleaned it myself before using it. It's quite noisy as well, you can here people walking and opening doors quite easily. Breakfast hours were inconvienent for me, doesn't start till 730.

Samesun is a large, modern hostel in Kelowna. It's very spacious and clean with nice beds and decor.
My room was quiet, comfortable and the property was close to my appointments. There's a huge kitchen. They keep the place clean and well supplied.

Hi Dylen! It's truly unfortunate and offensive that you feel the need to leave us such a ridiculously false review! We have looked back into our system to find your time with us and address the situation, but it seems you never even stayed with us Dylen? As for the complaint about our home being 'diacusting', full of junkies and people smelling bad, this doesn't sound like our establishment at ALL. It seems you might have us mixed up with the Mission homeless shelter. As for the horrible situation of needles and condoms everywhere, we have NEVER had any situations like this, EVER. It is offensive to even read such a false statement. Considering you were never a guest with us, you are completely mistaken and lying about your comments of Samesun. It is recommended and greatly appreciated that you remove your false accusations immediately! Safe travels and well wishes, Samesun Kelowna Staff.

I was at Kelowna Samesun with my boyfriend, we had a private room with bathroom, and well, we couldn't sleep because there were teenagers shouting and rioting the whole night long. I'm not sure if there were holidays or what, but the place was full of drunk teenagers. So, if you go for the fun and the alcohol go there. If you want to sleep during the night, don't. On the other hand, staff was nice enough not to charge the second night we had booked, since after the terrible experience we moved somewhere else.

Hello. There are hostels in both Vancouver and Kelowna. It sounds like you booked the Vancouver hostel, which is accessible via Skytrain from YVR Airport.
Hi Claude,
Our 8 share dorms will be $32.50 per night, plus tax, and our 4 share dorms will be $34.50 per night, plus tax.
We will also have a weekly rate available, and although the price hasn't been set yet, I would expect it will cost around $175 per week.
