The one thing that really impressed me was just how nice and willing the employees are to help. It made a big difference to me. The continental breakfast was actually nice compared to the cheap versions in other hotels using covid as an excuse. Everything was clean and my kids had a great time in the pool and water slide

Hotel was great - loved that the pool and waterslide were still open during Covid - they just had us reserve times ahead of time to ensure our family was the only one in the pool. Everything was spotless, except the microwave. Must have been missed as it was filthy. I wouldn't hesitate to go back because of this, but I will check it first thing when I enter the room. Bed wasn't the greatest but it's hard to please everyone with the type of mattress. i will stay here again, for sure.

Convenient location. Quiet. Bed comfortable with extra pillows. Included breakfast was all you'd need. Fast usb charging port to plug my phone cord into. The room was clean enough, though I found hairs not mine in both the tub and on the robes. Jacuzzi tub didn't work at all. Water temperature and pressure in the shower varied, and I assumed it had to do with others bathing at the same time. If I had been able to get a smaller/less expensive room, would have been 4-stars, but not worth $200/night.

From the moment you walk in you will notice how every staff member is incredibly courteous and welcoming!
Everyone made sure our stay was enjoyable from check in to check out.
The pool and water slide was an incredibly nice feature for our children.
The “Kids Suite” was worth every penny. It was spacious, clean and fit our large family comfortably.
The pull out sofa was surprisingly comfortable as well!
The hot breakfast exceeded all expectations!

Highly recommend.

I travel often for work and the Days Inn is by far the best place I’ve stayed in Red Deer. The rooms are always kept clean, check in is a breeze. The breakfast items are made fresh and the hot items (eggs, potatoes and meats) change daily which provides nice variety for stays longer than a day. The value for your money is incredible compared to the other options around. I will be staying again in the near future.

Killed a sow bug in the bathroom and another type of beetle bug in the King bed all within minutes.
Stayed in room 222, the king suite with bunk beds. Didn’t sleep a wink as the bunk beds creaked so loudly with every tiny movement and the pillows were awful, not to mention the beetle we had just killed.
There aren’t enough character spaces to complete a full review so if you do stay here stay far away from room 222!

This is the first time we stayed at a Days Inn and were pleasantly surprised. The checkin was fast and friendly and rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was also hot and plentiful.
This was located next to a shopping area and there were a large selection of restaurants in the area.
We would recommend this facility to others who travel this area.

Good Hotel. After a long day at work and after having travelled for a good two hours, this is the place where you can take a hot shower, slip into your PJ's and sleep for the night peacefully. The staff and the folks at the front desk are amaing and the location is veru convenient to travallers.

So check in took quite a while as they only had one person checking people in. We were staying with friends of ours and requested that we be close to each other. The front end person was not wiling to work with anyone and failed to give us room even on the same floor. We were in a king suite (king bed in own room and living area in its own room). The doors to either room couldn't close properly and were so crooked, that the doors wouldn't even stay shut. The light in the bathroom kept flickering and the room, no matter how low you set the temperature, would not cool down. Our son was sleeping on the pullout sofa and the mattress was paper thin and you could easily feel the springs just by running you hand over it. I sent these issues to the front desk person right away and nothing was offered for the issues. There is no way this should be the 8th best hotel in Red Deer. I should be near the bottom.

Love this property. Stayed here multiple times during dance competition season over the years. Everything is clean and friendly service. Our family likes how the breakfast options change on a regular basis, not always the same style of eggs or meat. Many options. Great location, easy to find, walking distance to shopping and restaurants and event centers. Pet friendly as well.

The pool wasn't functioning when we were there. I understand that they have had a major reno. You will have to check with the hotel directly.
Thank you for the question, our elevator keys are not locked and all floor can be accessed by all guests.
