Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa stands out for its prime location near beaches and downtown as well as its range of amenities, including a beach club and luxurious pools, though service can sometimes miss the mark. The resort's cleanliness receives high marks, but guests have called out issues with noise from construction and the surrounding area. While the atmosphere buzzes with energy from loud music, it can be too much for those seeking quiet. Room experiences vary, and some guests feel the resort's pricing doesn't represent good value.

This whole trip at Corazon Cabo has been fantastic! This is my second time here. I loved the first time so much, I booked a second time for my birthday trip and brought 6 friends. The hotel is clean with attentive staff. We’ve enjoyed breakfast and beach club every day with amazing, kind and quick service from Angel R and then Luis (at Aleta). The highlights of the trip have been the hot tubs in our rooms, unreal 80 minute massage and body scrub at the Sparitual, entertainment and excursions booked by the hotel staff and delicious food. Can’t wait to come back

You can’t beat the location. Right on the beach, easy to walk to Marina, shopping and restaurants, no need for a car.

We stayed in the older part of the hotel, room 4105. Straight out the window was kind of an unattractive view of roofs across the way, but to the right you had a pretty ocean view. I wouldn’t say these rooms are luxurious in any way, but the bed was quite comfortable. We had a two burner stove top, microwave, small fridge, toaster, full size coffee maker and blender. You can bring your own ground coffee; the coffee maker uses large basket sized filters. Housekeeping was a little spotty, sometimes they didn’t come until the end of the day when we were back in the room wanting to take showers. Some days we got wash cloths, and some days there weren’t any, ditto for the kitchen towel and soap. There was a shower but no tub which was fine for us. The music from the pool did not bother us, because we always travel with a white noise machine.

The front desk staff person who checked us in was very curt and not terribly welcoming, but everyone else we interacted with was kind and friendly.

If you want to sit at the beach, make a reservation with the beach concierge the day before to get a spot, especially if you are traveling with a group. It’s noisy- with competing music from the bar and the restaurant next-door, but that didn’t bother us. We had the crispy rice sushi for lunch at the beach almost every day, it’s delicious. If you are a member, you can use your membership card to get a discount on food and beverages. But sometimes even after we showed our card, we did not get the discount, so double check
your bill.

Both of the pool bars have happy hours at various times. The downstairs pool bar had longer happy hours. The pools were nice and warm, which was great because the ocean was particularly cold during our visit.

We also had a great time up at Baja brewery, live music and great views!

On arrival at this resort you are greeted by friendly front door personnel who will direct you to the check in area. Check in staff will go through your room allocation and have you sign a form that states what the daily fees are, no problem.
Before you are finished with the check in process, you will be pounced apon by a concierge staff member who will take the opportunity to introduce herself to you and subsequently show you to your room, along the way she will ask direct questions to try to get to know you, it is just all a ploy to get you to attend a timeshare presentation meeting, in my case she was not pushy when I declined what she was offering me as compensation for attending.

Room,
I was allocated a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite with direct views of the beach and ocean, room was nicely appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked perfectly. Outside on your private balcony, yes you can hear the thumping sounds of the music being played at the beach club, but honestly after a couple of days I got used to hearing it that it did not bother me any more.

Unfortunately two of the four pools were closed for construction, no big deal, the two other pools served the number of guests well and there is also the beach that you can use. I get it that this is the low season and the best time to do any repairs to the property. I did not sample any of the food as I like to go off property to find my eateries . Happy hour at the infinity pool is from 9am to 11am 2 for 1 cocktail drinks, beer not included and from 5pm to 6pm, drinks costs are that of what you would pay at a 5 star resort in the states, but not over the top.

Everyone at this resort will go all out to make your stay as pleasant as possible, from front door staff to check in to room cleaners to pool staff to maintenance, everyone will greet you with a smile and a customary " Hola ".

I thought that I was going to have problems at this resort, as 5 weeks before my arrival date they changed my room allocation to a basic hotel room, which was not what I reserved, but I have to say that this issue was resolved a week before my arrival date and after staying at this resort I can honestly say that it will not be my last.

Thankyou Corazon.

This resort is located in a prime location in Cabo San Lucas, walking distance to some great restaurants, the Marina, shopping and activities. Extra daily fees were explained upon check in, some optional and some mandatory. A couple unusual for vacation club members. Valet service quick and attentive. The pools were cold, but had great views of Land's End. The gym is up a stair case on the side of the resort and worth seeking out. The open windows on each side provided cooling breezes for your workout. The pool service is outstanding, food average, drinks good and prices reasonable for a resort. Rooms are not consistent, and public routes through the resort are confusing and not well marked. Some routes through the resort take you by guest rooms and those rooms were very noisy - even rooms down the hall from the elevators. I could not get a good night's sleep on any of the 7 nights of my stay. There are many stairs and most places in the resort can be reached by elevator but allow extra time if you plan an outing (especially if you go down to the beach area.) There are at least two phases of development, an older part of the resort and a newer tower. Timeshare sales are aggressive, even if you immediately decline. There is security at the resort, but anyone can walk around. There are two roof top restaurants, one on top of the tower and one on top of the older building (Baja Brewing.) Both are worthy of your consideration.

When we arrived, we were given the worst room on the property, one that looks out on a cement wall on the other side of a pool. From the pool, we could see that at least three other similar rooms are used for storage and that's exactly what those rooms should be used for. Then at around 8 PM while sitting in the "deck" chairs, three or four maintenance workers were power washing the walkway right in front of us. The next day, we asked for a different room and we should have done that in the first place because we had already unpacked everything. It is low season and we should've been given a better room in the first place when rooms were available.
The 1 1/2 hour presentation turned into 4 hours before we were finally released.
We learned to get our towels first thing in the morning and take them to our room because beach towels were never available later in the day. During slow season?
The food was good.

Your staff was the best. The unit was not suitable for 4 adults. exchanges were made into the old portion of the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were nice. Upon arrival the bathroom sink was stopped up. Maintenance fixed it quickly. The Kitchen was a total disappointment. There was no hot water in the sink and that was fixed when we reported it. The kitchen counter was very small and the only place to put our groceries. There was no big salad bowls. All dishes were stored on a shelf over 6ft high. One skillet and one pot were near the ceiling and dishes required a plastic step stool to reach. At 77 and 79 years of age, my wife almost fell when she went to get the skillet. This is a very serious safety problem for Senior Citizens. There was no dining table and chairs, only three stools. The living room did not have seating for 4 adults and the furniture was very dated and uncomfortable. The patio only had two chairs from which to see the view. This was presented as an additional $80 per night value over and above our Interval exchange in order for us to have the upgrade. We had to attend a 90 min presentation that lasted exactly 3 hours when we finally said enough was enough. We have been to Cabo for over 20 years and this was a disappointment. To say we felt pressured for this upgrade (Old units to an upgraded Old unit) instead of being in one of the newer rooms we were shown is an understatement. Newer units were never offered and the exchange with the upgrade offer we felt was just a way to get time share presentations. I normally never write critical reviews on where we stay but hopefully this is helpful for anyone wanting to stay at the Corazon.

This is my second stay at Corazon. First was in November 2021. That time, I attended a timeshare talk and received a certificate for a free 4 day/3 night stay. This time I chose to redeem that stay and was told that since they didn’t have any rooms available that qualified under the certificate, I could stay for free if I attended another timeshare breakfast talk. My fiancé and I attended the talk, where after 2 hours, (we only needed to be there 90 minutes), they brought in their big boss to try to close the deal on buying Embassy Gold - 20 years for $67k (USD) or 11 years for $27k (USD). The big boss was like a military sergeant commanding my fiancé to sit down and essentially telling me to shut up as, “I’m talking to [your fiancé].” When I called him rude, he countered with, “No! You’re rude.” Complaining to management is no use because they’re supposedly an outside company. The service was not even close to what we had back in November. Asking for towels? Good luck getting them. The only saving grace was Julio who was extremely attentive at getting us towels, menus, food, and drink. He gets 5 stars.

We are owners of the resort but not visited in the past 5 yrs because it was suppose to be under renovation which was constantly delayed. We’ve since started staying at Grand Solmar Lands End and enjoy its 5* accommodations and gorgeous views. I was able to get a week through Interval since it was was cheaper than using our week through Cabo Villas aka Corazon Cabo. They only delivered maybe half of what was promised in renovations. The resort has been renovated piece meal over the years leaving most of the resort still 10, 15 and guessing 30rds old. The new renovation may account for 35% of the rooms. Big pluses is it has a real lobby area over the past and a small infinity pool which loses sun early like the old pool down below. pool areas are boring since they have no resort activities and poor sound system for music. The old main pool area which should have been renovated had nothing done to it. The pool needed to be ripped out and moved to where the beach restaurant which is wasted space since it never was even half full. Wasted space above beach restaurant with loungers no one uses, timeshare shark tank is wasted space since in a prime area to put a restaurant. Big area outside the shark tank that they often stand outside and smoke. Resort fee of $3 a day, optional $1 a day for kid foundation and $5 a day for Wi-Fi. Check bill, we declined Wi-Fi and on check out was charged on bill and had to have it removed. Was in room 1110 which is listed as 1 bedroom but is more a studio lock off. No dresser for storing cloths, does have mini fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The studio we get at Grand Solmar Lands End is bigger and much better accommodations. The room is considered beach front on first floor. Has obstructed ocean view. Get rid of the cheap loungers on balconies which are uncomfortable. The room is part of an area that was complete back around 2008. Food and drink prices were high. Only place worth dining is Baja brewery which had good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Beach loungers need to be reserved through beach club, but had bad techno music on weekend so didn’t bother using. The rooftop has a small pool and restaurant but need to reserve and pay min $50 a person to use the pool loungers. The only real positive of the resort is it’s location on Medano beach and easy to walk to marina and town. Not sure if we will stay here again since much better options, it is my last resort resort to stay at now. Bland with no charm.

I was excited about this place given the location and reported amenities, but I was disappointed. I've been to cabo more than once and was not impressed with this experiences even compared to neighboring hotels. One issue was the lack of cleaning in rooms. The cleaning staff literally would just remake beds and take out the trash (didn't clean floor, bathroom, etc). it is also a popular spot for weddings/conferences which means they ultimately ignore all the other guests of the hotel and many of the amenities that you think you would enjoy you can't because other parties have rented out the entire space (like the beach for example which is ridiculous because as a guest you should be able to enjoy the amenity such as the beach club access). I also planned my weekend ahead of time with one of the hotel staff partially based on what the website advertised as their events and not only were they not correct and didn't follow through, when I went to tell the hotel staff they said someone would get back to me and they never did. Honestly, messed with the plans I had which is a bummer. Ultimately, there are so many other places you can stay at in Cabo might as well go to someplace with better service.

I really tried not to write this review but on my last day I was pushed to my limits.

1. Beach is wonderful, however you are told that the reservation will be made in your name and the chairs will be available to you, spoke to Hugo on 10/10/22. When you come to the beach, miraculously they can’t find your reservation.

2. Housekeeping - If you want your room clean; you can call the downstairs operator, you can tell the housekeeper on your floor to make sure to clean your room, you can remove your do not disturb sign, still nothing will take place!

3. If you’re not a morning person then you need to make sure that no sample units(timeshare) are on your floor, otherwise 8 AM bright and early people will be laughing and yelling in the corridor.

I believe that Noble House Hotels & Resorts is the management company of this hotel - please fix it!
