I have stayed in worse and I have stayed in better. Hotel rooms have a dated decor, but they are clean(I lifted the sheets and checked), water pressure is good and didn’t run out of hot water. We stayed in room 204, you can’t hear the music from the lounge BUT it’s noisy in the morning as the continental breakfast is two doors away. The floor is uneven, not sure if there is structural issues that need to be addressed? From previous reviews, I think the property managers are trying to turn it around.

We 3 stayed one night in July in a 2 bedroom suite. The front parking area is a bit unwecloming, since they are demolishing a building immediately in front of the north wing of the hotel. We parked in a handicapped spot, immediately in front, and adjacent to the main door. We faced the window of what looked like a storage room with a dress in the window, and half open broken wood slat blinds? The garbage can in the entry portico drive was full to overflowing; an abandond shopping cart was adjacent to it.

Check in was seamless. We got our room, but before getting into the elevator the reception staff called us back to give us another room. There is one elevator; it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. There was a table phone on a small table when we got off - the phone caddy was in two pieces for some reason; it was obviously broken. We got to the room. It was OK, but had faults. One of the two doors on the small cupboard over the microwave/fridge/sink was literally hanging off; the top hinge was nearly unscrewed. The bathroom sink drained really slowly. The bedcover on the main area bed had a 5 cm. long brown stain. The air conditioning unit in the second bedroom was missing a control panel cover.

The beds were OK and we had a decent sleep. The bathroom didn't had individual toiletries (except for one handsoap) but rather 3 bulk dispensers in the bathtub. Breakfast was good with oatmeal, pre-made small cheese omlettes, sausages, juices, etc. Check out was smooth. I mentioned the overflowing front garbage can. As we packed to go a staff member was emptying it.

Overall the hotel feels like it is not well looked after with many small defects that add up to an overall tawdriness. We would pick another place next time.

I travel a great deal for work and the staff at this hotel are some of the best. Check in is quick, friendly and efficient. A bottle of cold water is a welcome gift. Staff go out of their way to say hello and ensure the hotel looks it’s best. The beds are always comfortable and my room is always quiet. Check out is quick and painless with another bottle of cold water for road.

The problem is that the hotel is showing it’s age. Rooms are in desperate need of updating. A brand new hotel has opened up close by and I am not sure the Holiday Inn can compete in it’s current condition. No matter how great the service is, people are going to start choosing the new hotel over this one.

It is not fair to the great staff who work there. Ownership needs to step up and pay for the renovations so guests keep coming.

Very horrible service. Staff is so rude and lazy. I called for towels and they told me to go down to get some. I sent my son down and they told him they would bring them up. 15 mins goes by and still no towels, so I called the front desk, and they told me I could go grab some at the front desk AGAIN (I made them bring them up to me)! The continental breakfast is also a lie. I was told we would get hot continental break fast when we booked and they only gave us $11 voucher for the restaurant which wasn’t even enough for one waffle (ONE waffle with whipped topping costed $12). I do not recommend this hotel what so ever! Spend your money else where.

I like this hotel but this is the 3rd time I'm
Missing things, at first it was ds game and games few yrs back, 2 yrs ago was my ring, and yesterday was my Oakley sun glasses, it didn't take long, half hour after I checked out, I went back right away and already room was being cleaned and no one seen the glasses. They really need new workers, the things that go missing from the room cost more then a night at the hotel, and seems like the manager won't do anything about this. I'm so mad at the hotel at the cleaning ppl.

The Prince Albert Holiday Inn is not one of the better examples of a Holiday Inn. Most that I stay in, North Battleford for example, are clean, modern and comfortable. The one in PA is not. Carpets in the rooms are dirty, loose and in one case wet. I book the rooms for my crew and most of the guys had poor rooms. Safety latches were broken off of the doors, rooms smelled weird and the level of cleanliness was sub par. One guy in my crew had a king suite and it was nice though. Walls are paper thin and both nights I stayed the neighbours were up partying and making noise all night. Ice machines are on every floor but only one worked. Boxes and deliveries are left sitting in the hallways. Too many other issues to list. Breakfast area was nice and the food was decent. Staff is mostly friendly. In a nutshell this hotel is a dump, higher end of dump, but still a dump.

We had booked a room with a king sized bed. Upon arrival we were told the hotel had none and only a double queen was available. On top of that we were asked for a $200 damage deposit up front which was more than the cost of the room. When we got up to the room it was dirty. Carpet hadn't been vacuumed with stones and dirt embedded into it. Face prints on the windows. Fruit of the loom clothing stickers pasted to the walls. Ripped and dirty chair. There was damage everywhere in the form of dents, scrapes, and nail polish on countertops and inside drawers. The only thing clean were (hopefully based on appearance) the bedsheets. Once someone outside our window began to scream and yell we left. We were there five minutes, walked out and got a full refund. Booked at the Super 8 which had clean spacious rooms with no broken furniture or signs left by previous guests.

We booked a king suit with a jacuzzi on August 4th but when we arrived they put us in a suit without Jacuzzi and when we complained they moved us to the jacuzzi suit. The bathroom sink didn't drain and the door hinge was broken. We had to move to another room but the bathtub was rusty and the bathmat was dirty, breakfast was terrible, chicken sausages were not well cooked, and the omelette has already ham in it and we ended up eating only hard boiled eggs. We payed $182 for one night double occupancy in this hotel. When I complained at the checkout and asked to talk to the manager first they said they will let the manager know then they said the manager was not there and he would give us a call which he never did. Attached are the photo of the bathtub and the bathmat

The Ramada Prince Albert was a disgrace to the Ramada name. The hotel was old and completely run down. The chairs in the “lobby” were trash. Just looking at them made us question why we chose this hotel. The button to the elevator was broken. Our room on the third floor was absolutely terrible. The door was difficult to open, close and lock. The floor was concave shaped-sunken in, the carpet was ancient. The sliding window had screws wedged in the frame to keep from opening the window more than an inch. The bathroom fixtures (besides the counter top) were from 1982 and the tub did not drain while showering. The aesthetic of the entire room was displeasing including the dim lighting and dated furniture. In the morning we searched for the free continental breakfast but discovered the door locked. After asking staff we were directed to the severely musty smelling dining room. The hotel did provide us with a decent hot breakfast, but hard to enjoy in the stinky space.
We did not enjoy our stay and would never encourage anyone to use this hotel.

I booked online because I thought the location looked fine, right beside a Tim Hortons, across from a Boston Pizza, etc. When we pulled into PA it was the one hotel with maybe a dozen people hanging around the front. I try not to be judgmental but many looked drunk or high, stumbling around aimlessly. When I got out of my vehicle a couple started approaching me and asking me for money. I said I was just tying my shoe, and got back in my vehicle. We drove away and did some other errands for a couple of hours, and when we came back to the hotel, the same people were there, fighting with each other now, drunk out of their minds. No way would I leave my vehicle parked outside this place for the night. I never even made it inside the building. There are other great hotels in PA, without drunks hanging around the outside all day. Plus, the outside looks very run down, unlike the pics online. I have learned to never book online for Prince Albert.
