We were booked for 3 nights from July 1st to July 4th. As soon as we arrived, our hosts Cheryl and Ron were wonderful! We entered their beautiful home and we instantly fell in love with the place. The Victorian-inspired decor, furniture and layout was amazing! The home is sparkling clean and everywhere you look you can see the love they put into making this B&B a home away from home. In the mornings we had delicious home-cooked breakfasts and both Cheryl and Ron were attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. Because of the current COVID-19 situation, our hosts were seriously careful about extra disinfection, cleanliness and making sure each guest followed the proper precautions.
We had booked the largest of the 4 rooms and we honestly did not want to leave it. Everything was there; the homey service, the beautiful scenery, across the street from Mindemoya lake, 2 km away from town and the home is pretty central on Manitoulin. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and whatever you see on the website is exactly what you get! Cheryl and Ron, thank you once again for making our vacation that much more amazing!

Thank you for the amazing review. I have to apologize for the late response but, we only received notification today that we had 7 reviews to respond to. You were our first set of guests to arrive in July and we couldn't be more thrilled that your experience was positive in every way. We really take our Covid 19 protocol seriously and were concerned that our guests would not have a warm and welcoming experience as a result of all the distancing and rules. Based on your comments and the comments of other guests, that has not been the case. Thank you again for taking the time to submit such a valuable and meaningful comment. We hope to see you both again in the future.

Twin Peaks was a great place to rest and relax for 3 nights. Everything you need in a B&B. Comfort, delicious breakfasts, 24 hr refreshment station and very accommodating hosts.
Since we don't know how long this Covid virus will be around. It is important for me to say that Cheryl and Ron have limited their guests rooms to 2 out of their normal 4 to maintain social distancing. Each room had their own assigned breakfast area,
Also be aware that some of the island's restaurants did not open for the summer and/or are on limited hours. Same for some galleries. Call ahead to see their status.
But back to Twin Peaks-- a wonderful place. It is not directly on the lake but a short drive or hike ( for the fit), ( from Ann L)

Cheryl and Ron make the stay as wonderful as we could ever hope for! This is our second time staying here and we can't wait to come back again. They have thought through every detail to make the stay a very pleasant experience. And the breakfast is the best part ! The air conditioning in the room was a nice treat for the heat wave too.
They have thoroughly thought through Covid-19 protocols and it felt very very clean and safe. Thank you Cheryl and Ron!

We had a beautiful 3 days at this wonderful destination. Tasteful rooms, each with an updated bathroom, delicious choices for breakfasts, the home is set on a large property which was well-tended with a view of the lake. Cheryl was a perfect hostess. We did not meet Ron. Hopefully we will when we return.

Couldn't have been better, everything you would want in a B and B it had.
Our hosts Cheryl and Ron were very accommodating and very helpful as to where we should visit and at what times, they could not be nicer people.
Our room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean and beautiful.
The location was good for us, we weren't close to one particular town but the drive to any town was of equal distance in any direction which was great.
In short I highly recommend staying here if your trip takes you to this gorgeous island.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Twin Peaks. Our friendly, knowledgeable hostess served generous, delicious breakfasts, and created a welcoming atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable, and had blankets of varying levels of warmth. We appreciated having reading lights on both sides of the bed! The ceiling fan and screened windows that opened meant we did not have to use the air conditioner even on warm nights. There was lots of room to store clothing. Indoor common spaces - both upstairs and downstairs - had tea and coffee available at any time. DVDs in the upstairs common space were available for viewing in the rooms, and the living room had a piano and guitar! A porch and chairs on the front lawn were an added bonus. The property was spacious, with gorgeous views. All in all, a great stay in beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful welcoming B&B in Central Manitoulin. The room was decorated beautifully. Our room came with access to a small fridge and air conditioning as well as DVD player and DVDs in the hallway. Leslie was a welcoming, engaging hostess, going out of her way to ensure that your stay was excellent.
The breakfast choices were between sweet and savory and both were incredibly tasteful and fresh. I can't think of staying anywhere else next time I am on the Island.

We chose this B&B for our mini family vacation to Manitoulin Island. Our family of 5 (including Grandma!) stayed comfortably in the Coach House for 3 nights. We were easily able to do day trips to other island locations, as this Mindemoya B&B is situated centrally. The country setting was beautiful. Hosts Cheryl & Ron were great, very helpful and patiently answered the 5 year-old twin's questions. The children were thrilled to make friends with the resident kitty Casper!

Thanks Wendy for the great review. We loved having your family here! Those twins are adorable and I took some cute pictures of them playing with Casper. Thank you for commenting on our location which is definitely one of the top features of our property. Glad you had a nice time on Manitoulin (in spite of the weather) and we hope to see you again in the future.

Twin Peaks Bed and Breakfast home hosted by Leslie and Michael was just what we needed in May. The accommodation was elegant and breakfast spectacular. The location on Manitoulin Island allowed us to be central and take in all the hikes and sights we had scheduled. Thank you we hope to return and wish you a happy and healthy season!

Perfect getaway for families, couples and those looking for a solo trip to explore the island. Cheryl and Ron are warm and inviting and provide the best breakfasts, and breakfast sausages made on the island were the best. Great central location to see everything the island has to offer, comfortable beds and wonderful views. Will be back to stay again next year.
