This is a holiday parc, not realy a residence. Pool is closed, no restaurant or other services. Beach is a collection of concrete plates. Needs more maintenance to regain attraction. Saint Anne and surroundings are nice.

After 6 trips to Martinique, we had STILL not found a place to dance to "zouk nostalgic" but we found it in an open air restaurant at the foot of the Residence. A local told us about a dance which turned out to be a young all night event, but were fortunate to see a flyer about a Sunday afternoon soiree for a local club. It was a highlight of our trip to arrive to this venue with a live 10 piece orchestra and tables filled with locals, many in traditional garb, laughing/dancing/eating/drinking in a large, open air venue. You must go!

We stayed 5 days here. First time,definitely the last. Thea apartment was basic ,quiet and clean. We had a long walk to Ste Anne,which was lovely, with cafes and shops A car is a must. The surroundings are quite picturesque. There is a local bus that runs to Fort de France during the week. We had to get there before 9am or else a very long wait in hot sun! The nearby beach was not very clean-bits of broken bottle in the sand! Near to Ste Anne a nicer beach,quite clean. We were greeted by the maid (Margette)who spoke no English! I spoke to a manager on the phone who did not introduce herself, but informed me that I had to clean and mop the apartment before leaving. The same maid returned to check everything over before we left. She told me (in an angry french voice) that we used 2 extra towels. We were charged 8 euros for this. I was appalled,as one towel was used as a pillow case. It then took us 3 hours to get to airport and was charged a wapping 150 euros!!! Traffic at a standstill due to an accident. Luckily, our flight was delayed so that saved us! Martinique is a lovely island. The locals are friendly and helpful, but I was not impressed with the rude and unhelpful treatment at the complex.

Guys, we had a wonderful stay (mean place and the time) . If you book, be careful of Jean-Luis and Isabelle (hosts), say: if you have a problem in studio Your stay in (and you payed for!), they will never answer, nor try to solve your trouble. Worst, they'll accuse you of things you never did. Solid host !🤥, that want you: Pay, Stay, & GTFOff. There is lot of beautiful studios in the same resort, just watch your hosts ! 😄

I recommend this hotel. It's very closed to the beach and the pool is very beautiful just near the bar. There are 2 goods restaurants and the foods are excellents.

Anchorage caritan is one of the best place to stay in Martinique. No rain. white sand beach. 2 very good restaurants. a very beautiful pull. The place is very clean . I love this hotel.

This was our third time staying at the Anse Caritan in Sainte-Anne, Martinique. It was a complete disappointment. In the past, the accommodations, the food, and the staff were exceptional. All that has changed. From the time we checked in until we left, the staff was indifferent, almost to the point of arrogance. Breakfasts, which are included in the room rate, were much lower in quality than in the past, and frequently food would run out, with little explanation or no apology. The house keeping staff did not change linens or towels on any regular basis, then lied when they told us they were not permitted to change the bed sheets. (The pillows are about the size you find in airplane coach class.) Again, the front desk did little to rectify any difficulties. With a hotel with such problems and the high rates they charge for rooms, I would recommend that you look elsewhere to stay in this part of Martinique.
We have decided next visit to rent an apartment in town. There are good markets and food stores and there is easy proximity to the beaches and in particular, Salines, one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen.
The restaurants we ate at were all good, but two were exceptional. One was Le Touloulou, and the other, just a few steps away was La Case Philippe.

Domaine de L `Anse Caritan is no longer a hotel but a Rental Resort. Many of the studios have been sold, mostly to French retirees. The facility is very well maintained, it has a large pool, a gym, a bar with WIFI, laundry room. Otherwise it has no further service. Down at the beach, about 50m, is a beach bar, and next to it a good restaurant (bit expensive) The state of the Rental studio, probably depends of the respective owner. My studio was clean and equipped with all the necessity's. The kitchen is small but functional with all necessary equipment., At the end of your stay you have to return the studio in a clean state, or you pay something for the cleaner.. My landlady Marianne "mcplanet@yahoo.fr" was very helpful. She picked me up and drove me back to the airport. I can very much recommend to stay there.

I would like to show the beauty of the l'Anse Caritan.
There are a lot of boats on the ocean. Quite a lot!
The beach is light brown and is easy to walk on.
There are a few palm trees that give shade.
Nearby is a restaurant, when we are hungry.
Swimming is also fun here!
Worthwhile to see!!

Bonjour, j'y étais en décembre et elle fonctionner très bien, elle se situe en rentrant par l'entrée principale du bas (pas celle de la forêt en haut) elle se trouve à droite en rentrant dans le domaine, bonnes vacances en Martinique
Heureusement qu'il y a des propriétaires et des agences de locations intelligents qui mettent du pq bien entendu.. il n'y a pas que les hôtels ... avec d'ailleurs un peu de produits pour la vaisselle et le nettoyage de l'appartement... et nous louons à des proprio depuis plus de 30 ans.. il n'y a que des exceptions qui ne mettent rien et on n'y retourne jamais d'ailleurs
