Hotel's Favourite
Excellent Staff members who were very helpful and efficient and who surprisingly checked me in early. The location in Shinjuku is really good with a Domino’s Pizza (Closes late) and a Saizeriya in the same building and many many restaurants nearby. There is also a 24 hour convenience store. The hotel had a vending machine so you won’t need to go out if you needed to buy beverages. The closest station is Okubo (not Shin-Okubo within the Yamanote Line) which is only a 3 minute walk away which was convenient because it had an elevator Shinjuku Station is the immediate next station (0 stops) so going to the Airport via Narita Express was such a breeze although I had a lot of baggage with me.

The only drawback is that the wifi kept disconnecting which was inconvenient and drained a lot of my data.

We stayed for 6 nights in the 6 bed family room. This room was quite spacious with a convenient washer/dryer, sink, fridge and daily water bottle delivery with clean up. The toilet and bathroom were separated too which made getting ready in the morning quite easy. The location was perfect as it was a 2 minute walk to Okubo and Shin-Okubo stations, there were plenty of eateries and convenient stores and the staff were always willing to help. The breakfast was quite affordable and the options were simple but exactly what you needed (cereal/eggs/sausage/bread/drinks/salads/sauces). The on site gym was used by my teenage sons and the view of Tokyo from our room was fantastic.
My recommendation is to use the staff's knowledge to the fullest. We needed to change reservations and make new ones and found having the staff do this on your behalf was easier, they were only too happy to help. We were also a party of 6 travelling with a disabled 9 year old. They were always ensuring we were looked after. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and will stay here again if we end up in Shinjuku.

Very happy we chose this hotel. We ended up on the top floor and had a great view, on one day had a great view of Mt Fuji in full glory. The room was the largest we had on our Japan trip. Im not sure how much the rooms differ, but we ended up with effectively 6 beds in this place, with a stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine/dryer, safe, dining table. Im not sure all rooms have a clothes washer, but if not there was a free set of washing machines and dryers in the basement for use. The bathroom had a great view with an excellent view of the city although had a tendency to get a lot of water everywhere due to the design! Very happy with the room, the only minor issue with it was the door didnt fully close locked unless you pulled it gently. Im sure they fixed this when we left and advised them. The location is not in Shinjuku on what you think is Shinjuku as a tourist. The two local train stations Shin Okubo and (the JR line) Okubo which you use the most are very close and easy to use. Im told the suburb of Okubo where the hotel is has a lot of Korean and ethnic immigrants which was the feel and fine. There were a lot of local eateries and off all our Japan cities, this was the easiest place to eat as a family. At the bottom of the hotel is an Italian place which is very reasonably price and open til 2am - the kids had us eat 3 times here as they liked its simplicity (travelling with very young children). Be aware that if you want washing powder or even dishwashing amenities in the hotel,. you have to buy it at the front desk - I wouldnt gripe too much as it was pretty cheap to buy this. When we left we caught one station back to Shinjuku on the train, then the NEX Narita Airport train (90mins) to the airport. A good family accomodation choice for sure.

Dear Nathan san Thank you for having stayed our hotel and posted reviews. Especially in winter, depends on the room and weather, you could see the beautiful Mt.Fuji. However, due to the high occupancy on the day, we could not always meet your requests. As you mentioned, we have a laundry room on basement. Washing machine is not equipped in all rooms but you could use it on basement for free. Thank you for letting us know the detect of the room door. We already fixed it right after you checked out. We hope you liked our hotel and look forward to seeing you in the near future. Best Regards,

We were travelling with two teenage children so stayed in their two room mercury suite. The hotel was conveniently located and the suite came with a washer / driver and microwave which was great. But wow was this place small. Each room had two comfortable beds fitted next to each other with no room between or either side and about two feet at the bottom of beds between them and wall and door, so you could fit a closed suit case there but then have to step over it, we had to push the dinning table and chairs to the side of the main living area to fit our luggage there and besides a hanging rail over the dryer there were absolutely no other spaces, such as cupboards or draws to place clothing in, so you need to live out of suitcases which you must keep closed in living area or trip over them. There was enough space in bathroom to almost hang two towels, so fresh towels are needed each day even if you wanted to reuse them.
Basically this place would be fine for a brief stay but what a pain to squeeze in with a family.
Each day came with breakfast, I'm not sure if we paid for it but I definitely wouldn't again, We tried it on the first morning of our four night stay and then didn't bother again.
Staff were very friendly and rooms were kept exceptionally clean.
Ignoring the breakfast we wouldn't stay here again only because four of us could not fit in the two room suite.

I found this hotel at hotels.com and looks interesting because I was looking for a room of 5 and we want to be together
This is a perfect place I found
This hotel is an apartment style style and we got the family room
I was go glad it’s big and spacious separate toilet and bathroom. Facilities is just like a hotel cleaners come in to fix the room very day
And newly renovated hotel and it’s very clean it has a washing machine red stove if you like to cook although we did not use them as we were always out and we opt to take breakfast the hotel serves
Location is very strategic it has a grocery bedside and several restaurant and stores just a few minutes walking for those we also found a jr train nearby althightbwenhave no experience on this as we opted to hire and private can and driver to bring us around
More expensive though but was just want to relax
Staff are very pleasing and accommodating
Will always recommend this hotel to my friend planning to go to tokyo

We basically provide a room cleaning everyday so that guests could stay comfortably. We serve continental buffet style breakfast. Please try our breakfast if you could have an opportunity to stay with us again. We hope you had a great time with us and look forward to seeing you in the near future. Best Regards,

Nice hotel (more like little studio apartment) at Okubo, but it’s not really in central Shinjuku, about 15 mins walk from Shinjuku station itself, or you can take JR train, it’s the next stop after Shinjuku station.

The hotel itself is clean, room is quite big by Japanese standard(we stayed in the next level after the basic one), comfy bed, lots of amenities included including many toiletries, Japanese style bath, kitchenette, free laundry- which was the reason I booked this hotel (but has to buy washing powder and the drier takes ages to dry), also a money exchange machine downstairs which give quite ok rate (for USD).

Location wise, a bit disappointed it’s not in Central Shinjuku, but it’s quite close to Shin-Okubo, which apparently is kind of Korea-town (also quite multicultural), which is also very busy area at night and heaps of good and cheap eats. There’s also a supermarket next to the hotel that we bought breakfast supplies from.

For the reasonable price, overall a great little hotel, suitable for family, will definitely consider again in the future.

Dear guests, Thank you for having stayed at our hotel and sharing your experience here. We have 2 JR stations close by and they are only 1 stop away from Shinjuku station. If you walk to Shinjuku, it will take 15 to 20 mins. Shin-Okubo has recently become famous among young people as Korean town. You could enjoy many kinds of restaurants not only Korean and Japanese. We hope you had a great time with us and hope to see you in the near future. Best Regards,

This hotel is a must stay. The hotel is well located with train a 3 minute walk. Rooms are big..bathroom is excellent. Staff are very helpful and the hotel offers a simple but top notch breakfast at every reasonable price. Take train to Shinjuku from airport and transfer to local line for one stop to hotel or take taxi from Shinjuku station if transfer seems complicated...Dont train from either airports unless you are made of money..

Dear Tom san Thank you for having stayed at Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku. We are so happy to hear the compliment of hotel service. Train in Tokyo seems very complicated. If you visit here from airport, it is easy to take a limousine bus to Shinjuku express bus terminal. From there, you could take a taxi or take a train to Okubo station which is only 1 stop away. We hope you had a great time with us and look forward to seeing you in the near future. Best Regards,

The location is just a short distance from Okubo station, which is just a stop away from Shinjuku. Price wise is excellent and the room size is generous, considering that the hotel is located in Tokyo. There are eateries nearby although they may not be the best, but they are good enough. A small AEON supermarket is just located 1 min away.

Room is spacious. We had a queen size bed which is bigger than many hotels in Tokyo. Walking distance about 15 - 20 mins to department store and shopping area. Supermarket and many eateries are available on the street. Service from front desk staff is excellent, very helpful. Breakfast is only JPY600 although not many choices, but it's enough with bread, veg, yogurt, cereal etc.

We found that the cheapest way to Narita Airport is to take a train from Okubo Station (only 2 mins away)to Ochanomizu Station and change train at same platform to Tokyo Station. From there we can do last min shopping and take an express bus to airport. Bus is JPY1000 and no need to purchase ticket in advance. The hotel also provi'es shuttle service to airport and costs much more.

We are glad to stay in this hotel and will definitely come back.

I’d suggest checking their website for contact info. Or booking via their website or a third-party like Expedia and make the room requests there.
