Thanks Michael, our stay at your place was very enjoyable and your breakfast the next morning was great and truly well priced.
The room, as well as the whole place, was very neat and the linen crispy fresh. We had a nice shower after a long and strenuous trip down to Cape Town from Pretoria, and we really liked the overall feel of your place.
We will definitely stay over again when we come down to Cape Town.
Well done and three cheers to you.

If you like your accommodation to exude a cosy, comfortable, relaxed, easy-going and homely atmosphere, the Winelands lodge will be right for you. We stayed in a warm room with thick duvets, relaxed in the home bar with spectacular dusk views, and snacked on comfort food in the breakfast nook.

The Winelands Lodge is centrally located, about 25km from the city centre and 30km from Stellenbosch. Host Carol is a treasure trove of information on tourist attractions in this part of the world and provides or advises on guided or self-drive tours.

On our recent stay in Cape Town we looked for a place to stay for 3 nights. I phoned a friend of my son and as she was fully booked she suggested the Winelands Lodge. When I phoned the Winelands Lodge Mike answered the phone and told us he had space for us for 3 nights. We arrived on Monday Afternoon and were greeted very warmly by Mike. After getting us checked in he showed us to our room. It was a beautiful double room with a patio door leading to the front garden.
In the mornings we were served a very delicious Full English Breakfast. Fresh fruit and yoghurt and cereals were also available.
Waking up to the singing of so many different birds in the morning was a highlight for me and cooling off in the refreshing pool after a whole day in the sun was also very enjoyable. Mike and Claudia make sure you have a pleasant stay and surely do everything in their power to make your stay....a Stay to remember....A home away from home. Thank you Mike and Claudia.

New owners, Mike & Claudia, welcomed us warmly and pulled out all the stops to make sure our stay was a great one! The sparkling pool was welcoming after a hot drive in, and they were most helpful and accommodating in providing all the information and advice we needed, as well as Mike hosting a great rugby viewing evening! Mike & Claudia were also wonderful in providing an early breakfast after our late night out, and the fruit salad was a highlight for us.

Our trip was for a show at Paarl Amphitheatre, so the position was perfect for us, and we found all of Cape Town's attractions easy to access from the nearby N1.

Our bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom great - what a wonderful shower head! We look forward to visiting again to see the results of the vision they have to take Wineands Lodge to the next level of excellence :)

The rooms were really just as gorgeous as the picture and the breakfast served was really delicious!!! the owner Michael is an incredible host and really made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed my stay and he is extremely accommodating and just as warm as his email responses(it was the response in my email enquiry that hooked me!!) . The surroundings were peaceful and lovely and coffee shops and the local grocery stores and restaurants are in close proximity. Lovely venue I highly recommend it if you want to feel like you are in a home away from home place this is it!

I would like to let you know that the front doors lock sometimes open with some difficulty. Maybe some Q20 will help. This is not an issue, just wanted to inform you about this. Had a great visit!!!

The room was cold and the TV channels were not accommodative.
The wifi is advantageous as you can then be busy on your phone and watch what you want to watch there.
But the Owner was not very pleasant, was very irritated by the bell which from outside guests would not know if it works, not even an instruction that says press once and someone will attend to you shortly. I was not happy with the treatment given by the Landlord and for that reason i will not return to the Lodge.
Not worth going to if you want a peace if mind.
