We stayed four days at the hotel and it was great! The position is very close to public transportation and also to the ski slopes. The food was very tasty and served perfectly, the breakfast was varied and the coffee was incredible. They also have a spa which is very nice and clean, with a hot tub, big saunas and a relaxing room. The rooms are clean and comfortable, we loved the terrace which had a great view to the mountains. The staff were great, very professional and always with a smile on their faces. Fabrizio, the manager of the hotel is great, very competent and willing to help you with everything he can. We can’t wait to return and stay a little longer!

We stayed in Gran Baita trough Christmas and we were spoiled! I’ve never seen a team working so hard to please guest. Everyone from the reception, waiter, cleaner, chef, babysitter, driver...Amazing team!!! Great food, great atmosphere, everyone very helpful. Not sure if suits for couples but perfect for families with kids or Bigger groups. Super kids area, wellness facilities, clean and tidy hotel, great food offer. We stayed here in winter 2024 and we were skiing. Hotel with good location close to two ski areas - Val di Fassa (part of Sella ronda) and Vigo di Fassa - Ciampedie. Great food, friendly staff, great for families with children, ski bus to both lifts, complete satisfaction. Half board with afternoon snacks - perfect.

We have just returned from a weeks skiing based at the Gran Baita and would highly recommend it. We were a family of four(x2 teenage children) with adjoining very clean spacious rooms. The staff without any difficulties accommodated an additional guest in our rooms for four of the nights. All the staff were always very professional and welcoming, particularly Flora and Tony. The food was of a very high standard,huge choices and so much of it!!!!! The hotel is on the outskirts of Pozza which is a picturesque town but well served with buses to all the ski lifts in the region. When without ski equipment the centre can be reached easily on foot via a pleasant walk along the river. We would definitely like to return to this hotel again in the future.

Just spent a week here on a skiing holiday. Lovely rooms, great food . Excellent choice for breakfast. Cakes and snacks at 4pm and fabulous 4 course meal with a wide choice of freshly made local dishes ( including vegetarian option) each evening. There were also various themed events such as a prosecco reception, mulled wine by an outside fire and a romantic candle lit dinner during the week. The hotel is some way from the centre of Pozza but there is regular ski bus service to the nearby Buffaure lift and throughout the Fassa valley which runs from immediately outside the hotel every 20-30 min. The local Ciampac ski area has fabulous open sunny pistes with a good selection of blue, red and some black runs. From 2016 it will be connected directly the the Sella Ronda via Arraba. The Hotel is billed as a family hotel and was full of mainly Italian families with lots of childrenchildren- who were wonderfully catered for with their own menus and entertainment. The hotel has a lovely new spa with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which is free to residents. The hotel is family run and has a very friendly atmosphere with nothing too much trouble. The only mild criticism is that half board doesnt include any drinks with evening meal but bottled water is only €2 for a litre bottle and there is a good and reasonably priced wine list. Molto Bene and definitely recommended -especially for families.

We recently stayed at the 'family hotel' in Pozza di Fassa. First, know that family means there are kids EVERYWHERE! Even with ear plugs we could hear the kids in the hall, next door and above us running around. At breakfast, it was like a daycare center with kids everywhere. Now, don't get me wrong -- I am not anti-kid. You should just know what you are getting into. If it is me, I would rather have a smaller, more quaint hotel. On a positive note, the staff is very accommodating including the front desk -- we met a nice lady who lived in NYC and knows all the great restaurants in town. So if you stay here, you know you will have a great dinner, but don't count on getting a wink of sleep unless you love children and all the NOISE they bring!

Weekend at Family Hotel Gran Baita. I found this hotel to be very clean and close to center and transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, but, most of all very professional. There Was a big variety of meals to choose from and each one were tastey and lovely. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be returning. Thankyou Gran Baita.

We have several times been guests at Hotel Gran Baita, so it was a pleasant surprise, that the new management of the hotel has raised the level of the hotel, from a good hotel, to an excellent hotel, with the focus on the family.
Today, the hotel have playing areas for children, both inside and outside, even with an adult person to take care of children, and it much used by the families. Ex. during dinner time, where excellent food must be enjoyed, and it takes time, so the children can be a little impatient, and then the children have a good alternative with the supervised playing area.
We enjoyed the stay so much, not of one reason but many. Such as:
The staff of the hotel is something else. They do all they can so you enjoy your stay. Starting in the reception, over the restaurant, to the staff taking care of the rooms and children and do not forget the excellent kitchen staff.
We enjoyed the food so much; It is Italian food when it is the best. We had a daily choice of many different meals, such as, traditional Italian dishes, local dishes, gourmet dishes, children's menu, and what was important for us, vegetarian courses as my wife is a vegetarian. When the food is accompanied with excellent service in the restaurant, then the meal is superb.
Even our dog loves the hotel.
So a huge thank you to everybody at Hotel Gran Baita, for a wonderful vacation. Your effort made it perfect. Thank you Hanne and Olav Rye Hintze

Buonasera Mariangela, in struttura è presente la SPA con sauna, biosauna, bagno turco ed idromassaggio, il tutto riservato agli adulti. In paese, a ca 1 km da noi trovi il centro acquatico VIDOR, con piscine interne, esterne scivoli e giochi d'acqua..
