New owners are upgrading a campground on the Crowe River. It's a combination of trailers, cabins and tent camping spaces. I had 1 bedroom cottage for 10 days. Quiet, nice neighbors, scenic and about same price as a hotel room. Owners are very attentive and anxious to make the campground be a success and to make the campers or residents happy. Not a fancy resort! But it's got a place for kids to play next to the river, fishing off the dock, etc. Marmora has some interesting tourist attractions and activities.

I have been a seasonal camper for 3 years.
These reviews were written for the previous owners. This park has been purchased by a corporation and management has changed over many times. The corporation has not been as committed to this park as our previous owners.
Miss you Guys and Betty

I am the mother of a neighbour of crowe valley Campground. My Daughter has a toddler and a beagle. Her husband works out of province for lengthy periods of time. Unfortunately the beagle gets away occasionally. Keep in mind that my daughter has alot on her plate. She is fastidious in keeping the dog on the property, however when there is company the dog is very clever at sneaking out when the door is open. Today the beagle got out again. We went to retrieve her and were met with appaulling hostility from the owner. My daughter ended up having a total breakdown. I was ordered off the property for asking them not to yell at my daughter. I certainly would not leave her and my grandson alone in this type of situation. My point being, although these folks may be seemingly hospitable to their out of town paying customers. They are actually mean spirited, have no compassion for those that live in the community within which they conduct business.

We had left Bon Echo quite early in the morning. We arrived at the Crowe Valley

Campground around 10:20 in the morning. Many would refuse to let us in, but not the owners of this park. They were super nice and gave us pamphlets for the attractions we were interested in.

Just for their hospitality they deserve a 10/10.

Several people had stationed their rigs here for the summer. No wonder with the beautiful view of the lake.

It is managed by a mom and her son. Most of the camping is for the whole season.

This campground was not attractive in the past, but since the new owners changed everything, the campground is now very attractive!

There is a beautiful lake. We were allowed to use their boat for free. There is even a playground.

Nearby was a park where they played live music. We could hear it. It was fun.

The showers and restrooms were always clean.

When we needed info about how to get somewhere, they always helped us with a smile.

Their friendliness and the lake made us feel like we were family. It's worthwhile to come here!
