The reef looked healthy and there were many different kinds of fish. Go downtown Cancun by coco bongo and Hard Rock Cafe store and buy the tickets there . It’s amazing . 4 wheelers , zip line , cave dives , open air swing into freezing water cenote and a lunch . Best tacos ever and I am picky . Just KEEP your BAGS CLOSE theMONKEYS will grab and run . They took my daughter sunscreen up the tree so fast and I videos it and took a man’s shirt and hat . You can even drive there if you rent a car . Cenotes are typically open to the sky or closed (cave like). Siete Bocas is interesting because it has features of both types. You get to experience open and closed cenotes. It is one cenote with seven entrances.

No credit cards – like many cenotes, they charge a higher price for tourists than for locals – which is OK. Open air cenote – much easier access than the underground ones. The vendors are local and this is usually their only source of income. Usually the prices they give you are inflated and many goods are not made out of whatever they claim. For example, manmade opal will be pushed as "rare Australian opal", ceramic will be pushed as "hand carved stone", plastic will be pushed as "obsidian". Just be aware and haggle for more appropriate pricing.
