Beautiful zoo! Our tour guide, Gina was super knowledgeable about all the animals and we got a chance to be really close to the animals.

We went out early in the morning on a snorkeling tour to explore this reef and it was gorgeous! The reef looked healthy and there were many different kinds of fish. Some of us even saw a nurse shark! 🦈 Definitely a must do when you're in the area.

Weather didn't cooperate: rained first day, ocean too cold to snorkel. The town itself was welcoming, the beach and food very nice . Mid February too soon I guess.

We love this place . We have traveled all over and this is the BEST one . It’s a hidden gem . Go downtown Cancun by coco bongo and Hard Rock Cafe store and buy the tickets there . It’s amazing . 4 wheelers , zip line , cave dives , open air swing into freezing water cenote and a lunch . Best tacos ever and I am picky . Just KEEP your BAGS CLOSE theMONKEYS will grab and run . They took my daughter sunscreen up the tree so fast and I videos it and took a man’s shirt and hat . You can even drive there if you rent a car . We were there from 9 am until 4 ish for 35.00 per person .

All the cenotes in the Puerto Morelos area are located on Mayan land. Admission fees are an important source of income for local families.

Cenotes are typically open to the sky or closed (cave like). Siete Bocas is interesting because it has features of both types. You get to experience open and closed cenotes. It is one cenote with seven entrances.

Not over-developed as a tourist attraction, Siete Bocas is a good option for those seeking a more natural setting.

Got there around 10 am and stayed until about 11:30 – no one there but us until we left. Made it very special! A bit pricy but worth it.
No credit cards – like many cenotes, they charge a higher price for tourists than for locals – which is OK. Open air cenote – much easier access than the underground ones. Sell soda but not food – can bring your own picnic.

The water was COLD! But it was beautiful. Lots to do and see in this area as well, I would recommend it to others.

We enjoyed seeing the botanical gardens, open again after covid closure. We even saw monkeys by the (closed) watch tower). A botanist friend this was the highlight of the trip. Beware, though the mosquitoes are abundant--and hungry!

There are lots of great little things to buy here, but it's important to know what you're walking into. The vendors are local and this is usually their only source of income. Usually the prices they give you are inflated and many goods are not made out of whatever they claim. For example, manmade opal will be pushed as "rare Australian opal", ceramic will be pushed as "hand carved stone", plastic will be pushed as "obsidian". Just be aware and haggle for more appropriate pricing.
I only gave 4 stars because the level of pushiness from the vendors at this market can be overwhelming.
