We had a great time hanging out for the long weekend. We had not been to Collingwood in the summer and wow have we been missing out! The resort is spacious and well laid out. It was clean and comfortable. Our king bed was fantastic. The price is a bit on the expensive side but it was the long weekend. We left the resort to go to the beach and do a 10M bike trip LOVED IT1

Friendly and intimate setting for a wine tasting. We sat overlooking the vineyard. It's a small place with only a couple of tables. Definitely personal service and attention to detail.
Try the ice cider (like ice wine, but with cider)

Fascinating fish ladders and beautiful trails around the Fishway and bridge.

Enjoy the soothing sound of flowing stream, and watch fishermen patiently trying and waiting for their catch.

Peak spawning seasons are spring and fall, with trout and salmon.

There are plenty of free parking around the corner behind the stores.

Stayed at the Royal Harbour Resort right across from the marina. A lovely spot for walking with downtown nearby. Lots of trendy chops and eateries in town and the very close by town of Clarksburg.
The Royal Harbour Resort with appointed stidio and two bedroom suites has a nice pool and hot tub, as well as an exercise room. Staff are very helpful however rentals are sometimes hard to come by as many of them are timeshared units. Book plenty in advance.
The Thornbury Cidery is a great spot to visit for picking up great ciders and also a trendy place to chill with drinks and charcuterie etc.

What a great place to sample different ciders! There are also seltzers and beers, but we stuck to 3 flights of ciders. There was live music the afternoon we stopped in, and a friendly vibe. Service was friendly and efficient. The snacks looked ok but very limited selection. Highly recommend as a fun place to stop.

Our visit totally exceeded our expectations.

As we arrived to meet our close friends we were greeted with a spectacular view of the Blue Mountain area. The scenery set the stage for what would be an amazing afternoon with friends.

We booked the deluxe tasting and thoroughly enjoyed all the wines. The blind tasting allowed us to try the different wines and appreciate the local flavor.

The staff were very welcoming and our server Max was very versed and knowledgeable.

Along with the wines you need to enjoy the charcuterie board, we really enjoyed the Fig Spread.

We highly recommend you walk the vineyard with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful country side.

During our walk we met the owner and enjoyed the conversation and the history of the winery.

Your beautiful place set the stage for an beautiful memorable afternoon.

We have booked in August with a close family, look forward in returning.

Kids had a lot of fun on the water slide, rope and splash area, but the water was filthy. Honestly really off putting. Dead flies and floating debris everywhere, tons of dirt and soil on the bottom. Need to do a much better job at keeping the water clean. Yuck!

An incredible collection of the history of black people from Africa to the west. A beautiful labour of love curated by these 2 sisters to show the story of resilience and excellence of blacks. A MUST visit when near Collingwood and Thornbury, ON.

We were delighted to stumble upon this gallery while meandering the. Main Street in Thornbury. The art displayed here was exquisite and reflected the local area. Although there was nothing thing for sale in my price range, I would definitely recommend a brief stop here for anyone passing through with an interest n art.

I’ve been there two times each year since I was a kid and we always get a box of fudge each time we go. They also have amazing service and creativity.

Numerous varieties of apples for sale or pick your own. The store has a wide variety of local preserves, jams, relishes and of course pies. Beautiful vistas of the Hawkley Valley and the escarpment.
