Excellent beer, try the Kolsch it is very good and you can have a nice relaxing time on the patio. We all enjoyed the music as well, very comforting and also have a conversation because it was not too loud. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop for a cold one and you'll be glad you did. Prost!!!

Stopped in on a Sunday. We must have beaten the rush as the place was empty. Several of the beers were very good. The friendly barkeep was attentive and pleasant.

We love little hole-in-the-wall places when we travel. This place is great! Visited over Labor Day weekend after a long day at Six Flags Great America. This relaxing vibe was just what we needed. Great beer and barmen. Popcorn is amazing. No food - but we knew that going into it. Enjoyed playing games with our boys. Took a few bottles to go.

It is a quaint and small brewery different flavors every time we go, off the beaten path but fun. The beer flights are good and some times Groupon offers deals there too.

Enjoy locally made craft beers in an intimate setting. Owner Larry and staff are fun and great to talk with. My favorite brew is Maui Trickster.

I really enjoy taprooms that are intimate and genuine. ZumBier's taproom is quite small, plays great vintage vinyl and has staff that knows and appreciates great beer. I've had a few of their biers, but they are all genuine yet fun. They have periodic food trucks but always free popcorn, Great local patrons...A comfortable place to hang with good people and great beer.

Causal bar with friendly atmosphere. First visit was a fund raiser for Waukegan to college program and the second visit was a stop after golf Both were enjoyable

Stopped By To Check Out This Brewery & To Meet Friends. Great Home Brew Beers To Test. Owner Larry Bloom Is Super Cool & Friendly. Small Cozy Environment In Out Of The Way Location. Overall Great Place.

We were looking for a place to have a quick cold one before a concert, I found Zumbier here on TA. What a cute place! Delicious popcorn and nice selection of microbrews. The squirrel was my favorite, chocolate, caramel, and vanilla in every sip.

So many beers, so little time. What a variety. I knew they had a lot of brews based on the selection of their beers in the liquor store near my house. Still, it's a surprise to see so many available on tap. The beers were tasty. My wife doesn't like IPAs, and she was happy to find a non-IPA to her liking.
I like that the taproom isn't cavernous and cold like all the other nanobreweries in the area. That industrial look of the other breweries is not inviting. ZumBier is cozy and warm, like somebody's home.
They were playing trivia the night I was there, and the place was packed. I didn't mind the crowd. It was fun.
The popcorn was awesome. They should package and sell the seasoning.
