Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.

Despite being relatively peaceful up to this point, the last week of Taurus Season gets hectic with a whole slew of celestial interactions. The Sun becomes very social, cementing relationships with Uranus and Jupiter in advance of its upcoming move to Gemini. The Sun also forms a pact with shadowy Lilith and establishes a connection with intuitive Neptune. What does it all mean? Basically, we’re about to learn a whole lot about ourselves — maybe even more than we ever wanted to know!

Romantic Venus tries to be responsible in agreement with Saturn, but then gets distracted dreaming up oddball ideas with Uranus. Mercury moves from Aries to Taurus, where it starts a fight with retrograde Pluto. Down here on Earth, the First Quarter Moon has Leos feeling ready to fight! And finally, Mars joins forces with the North Node to launch everyone full force into summer 2024.

Taurus begins the proceedings for this weekly horoscope, then we’ll walk through each sign until everyone’s destiny has been discussed. If you know more of your placements than your Sun Sign alone (Moon, Rising, Mars, etc.), check their entries as well to get a full picture of your astrological forecast.

Taurus
What the stars are up to:
  • The Sun, Jupiter, Uranus, and your ruler Venus are in your sign.
  • On Wednesday, Mercury moves from Aries to your sign.
  • The Sun creates a trine with Lilith, forms a sextile with Neptune, and passes through conjunction with Uranus and Jupiter.
  • Mercury squares off against Pluto.
  • Venus forms a sextile with Saturn, then passes through conjunction with Uranus.
What it means:

This is your last full week with Jupiter since it arrived in your sign during May 2023. It’s an enormous planet, and its influence is expansive. Jupiter is associated with good luck, and it’ll be a bit of a bummer to see it go, but in some ways you may experience its departure as a relief. You aren’t afraid to make big moves, but you really enjoy chilling out unbothered at home. When Jupiter packs up its celebratory attitude and moves to Gemini after staying with you for an entire year, you might feel as if you’ve finally finished hosting a long house party.

Right now, you’re still in the thick of it! Mercury joins the gathering in your sign, then calls Pluto, currently a few doors down in Aquarius, to pick a fight. Your ruler Venus assures responsible Saturn that it won’t get too wild this time, promise, and then starts doing headstands in the corner with oddball Uranus. The Sun is having all sorts of profound experiences with other influences — colluding with shady Lilith, becoming besties with Uranus and Jupiter, and finally making an insightful connection with intuitive Neptune.

All of this suggests you probably won’t want to talk about upcoming life changes, but you’re preparing for them nonetheless. You’re ready to check some important tasks off of your to-do list, then settle in for some quality introverted alone time.

Gemini
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Mercury begins the week in Aries, then moves to Taurus.
  • Mercury squares off against Pluto.
What it means:

You’re in for a truly weird week — well, weird for you, that is. Typically you enjoy a stream of fairly constant activity, but right now you just want to be left alone. Try to indulge that instinct if you can. You’ll be back to your usual self soon! Life is about to get exciting when your own season begins, and the impatient anxiety of waiting out the final few days is contrarily causing you to feel avoidant. If you can manage to squeeze in a few naps this week, the time will seem to pass more pleasantly.

Cancer
What the stars are up to:
  • Your ruler the Moon travels through your sign, Leo, Virgo, and Libra.
  • The waxing crescent Moon in your sign forms a sextile with Jupiter, squares off against Mercury, and creates a trine with Neptune.
  • The First Quarter Moon in Leo squares off against the Sun.
What it means:

The First Quarter Moon squares off against the Sun in Leo, and you’re ready to start a fight with yourself. Unfortunately, there’s no winning against yourself because you already know all of your own moves, so the effort just makes you exhausted and cranky. It’s a good thing your lunar sign ruler orbits the Earth rapidly! Your moods are all-consuming, but they tend to pass quickly.

The Moon reaches its farthest point away from the Earth in Virgo, providing a respite of emotional distance. For the remainder of the week after First Quarter phase, you have trouble fighting off a warm, welcome feeling of contentment, even if external events in your life don’t support it. Accept the gift of an irrationally happy headspace and enjoy it!

Leo
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler the Sun is in Taurus.
  • The Sun creates a trine with Lilith, forms a sextile with Neptune, and passes through conjunction with Uranus and Jupiter.
  • The First Quarter Moon in your sign opposes Pluto, creates a trine with Mars, and squares off against Venus, Uranus, the Sun, and Jupiter.
What it means:

Wow, you are ready to fight! The First Quarter Moon in your sign tries to start shit with damn near every celestial influence except its buddy belligerent Mars, and your sign ruler the Sun is conspiring to make plans with vengeful Lilith. The rest of the zodiac would be wise to step carefully around you for the moment. You experience some moments of profound insight and expanded perspective at the beginning and end of the week; try your best to focus on that, instead of scratching the itch to provoke unnecessary arguments wherever you go.

Virgo
What the stars are up to:
  • Lilith is in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Mercury begins the week in Aries, then moves to Taurus.
  • The Sun creates a trine with Lilith.
  • Mercury squares off against Pluto.
  • The waxing gibbous Moon in your sign creates trines with Mercury, Venus, Uranus, the Sun, and Jupiter, and opposes Saturn and Neptune.
What it means:

Your sign ruler Mercury moves from fiery Aries to your fellow Earth sign Taurus, which should help you feel more relaxed… and just in time! The Sun joins forces with shadow ruler Lilith to shine light on every part of your soul, showing you some things about yourself you usually try not to see. That’s a good thing, truly! But it’s a bit taxing, and you’ll probably want to barricade yourself in your room and avoid people for a few days. Afterward, you’ll rebound with a strong urge to blow off responsibility and socialize instead. Might as well go for it. Balance is very necessary.

Libra
What the stars are up to:
  • The South Node is in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Venus is in Taurus.
  • Venus forms a sextile with Saturn and passes through conjunction with Uranus.
  • Mars opposes the South Node.
  • The waxing gibbous Moon in your sign creates a trine with Pluto and opposes Mars.
What it means:

Interview with the Vampire protagonist Louis de Pointe du Lac is a canonical Libra with an October 4 birthday (same as his inventor, Anne Rice). In the second season of the AMC adaptation, Louis joins a nefarious theater troupe while attempting to get over his breakup with the toxic Scorpio love of his life, Lestat — what a classic Libra maneuver, LOL. The tagline for this season of the show is “memory is a monster,” and you’re definitely sympathetic to that sentiment while the past-prioritizing South Node of the Moon’s orbit still occupies space in your sign.

But in spite of a general lack of energy, you’re bolstered this week to an obstinate burst of motivation by an unconventional source of inspiration. Maybe, like Louis, you’ll seek out the ear of a mortal you once confided in long ago, all so you can continue to unload an updated version of your life chronicle.

Scorpio
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Pluto is retrograde in Aquarius.
  • Mercury squares off against Pluto.
What it means:

Mercury squares off against your ruler Pluto and nobody wants to talk to you. Oh well! You’ve got mysterious personal stuff you want to take care of this week, and dealing with other people’s drama would only be a distraction.

Sagittarius
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Jupiter is in Taurus.
  • The Sun passes through conjunction with Jupiter.
What it means:

You’ve got one last week of chilling out at home before your sign ruler Jupiter moves to Gemini and your social life explodes into (mostly cheerful) chaos. For now, you’re taking this final moment of quietude to look deeply inside of your own soul and realize that you genuinely feel at peace with yourself. Enjoy the breath of calm before your life becomes hectic again.

Capricorn
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Saturn is in Pisces.
  • Venus forms a sextile with Saturn.
What it means:

Venus is fond of your sign ruler Saturn for a while on Monday, and you know what? Sometimes catching a brief smile from a hottie while you’re toiling away diligently at your daily labors is truly enough of a boon to elevate your entire week. Try to lock down any important business before everyone else loses their entire minds at the onset of Gemini season.

Aquarius
What the stars are up to:
  • Pluto is retrograde in your sign.
  • Your sign ruler Uranus is in Taurus.
  • The Sun and Venus pass through conjunction with Uranus.
  • Mercury squares off against Pluto.
What it means:

It’s a big week for Aquarian self-love! The Sun and Venus both commune directly with your sign ruler Uranus, and you feel overwhelmingly proud of the person you’ve become. Who cares if Mercury is beefing with Pluto and screwing up conversations about personal progress? You’ve already come so far to be who you are today! You deserve to bask in that sensation.

Pisces
What the stars are up to:
  • Saturn and your ruler Neptune are in your sign.
  • Venus forms a sextile with Saturn.
  • The Sun forms a sextile with Neptune.
What it means:

Venus takes a liking to Saturn in your sign, and the Sun is interested in your ruler Neptune. You’re due for a commitment to responsibility in pursuing your desires, and a powerful compulsion to spend some time seriously examining your own soul. Ultimately, both of these undertakings will be excellent for your romantic life.

Aries
What the stars are up to:
  • The North Node, Chiron, Mercury, and your ruler Mars are in your sign.
  • On Wednesday, Mercury leaves your sign and moves to Taurus.
  • Mars passes through conjunction with the North Node.
What it means:

Mercury leaves your sign and moves to Taurus, which may temporarily leave you at a loss for words. But no matter, you’re ready to go, go, go! When your ruler Mars lines up in cooperative conjunction with the destiny-defining North Node in your sign, you can and will not be stopped. You will sprint into Gemini season with a two-day head start, running ahead of the pack before everyone else in the zodiac even thinks about tying their shoes.
