As the birthplace of Martin Luther King, Jr. and The Fox Theatre, Atlanta is a vibrant city offering residents a rich history and unique lifestyle. Welcome to Atlanta. The SAG-AFTRA Atlanta Local services members working in Georgia and South Carolina. With over 3,000 SAG-AFTRA members, our local continues to grow its well-trained, skilled work force and attract a record number of entertainment productions each year. Because Georgia is a right-to-work state, it’s critical that we stay visibly active in our market in order to preserve and expand union work opportunities for all local members.

Our local is home to a diverse and dynamic group of SAG-AFTRA member performers that work as on-camera actors, stunt performers, dancers, intimacy coordinators, singers, voiceover artists and other media professionals that call Atlanta home. With an incredibly strong, supportive team of local staff and leaders, our mission is to improve the lives of members and their families by preserving and expanding local work opportunities, educating through relevant and comprehensive resources, and empowering members in navigating their careers.

I could not be more optimistic about the future of our Atlanta Local as it continues to be an important leader in the entertainment industry. My belief in the intrinsic value of our members and the work they provide will continue to be the foundation of my commitment to the Atlanta Local membership.
