I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with experience using several evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Using these techniques along with a holistic approach, I treat adults, teens, and children with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. NOTE: I do not offer specialized assessments (i.e. emotional support animal, return to work/fitness for duty, etc.)

I believe in meeting an individual where they are at with the understanding that everybody has had a different life experience. I take a nonjudgmental stance and encourage those I work with to find humor and light, while also validating the hardships they've endured, giving them support and tools to overcome those challenges and emotionally heal. While my caseload is diverse in client needs, an emerging focus of my practice is supporting individuals and family of individuals with ADHD who are working on understanding how their neurodivergent brains have played a role in their lives, exploring both the victories and the struggles.

Sensory Life was established to help people of all ages develop a happy, balanced lifestyle through increased understanding of their unique sensory processing needs. My services are ideal for those exploring neurodivergence or with known sensory processing differences. Common diagnoses include ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, ODD, anxiety, & PTSD, but a diagnosis is not necessary to benefit from services. Parents, educators, & therapists would also benefit. I offer basic & comprehensive sensory evaluations, as well as follow up sessions. The process is personalized, neurodiversity affirming, trauma informed, and collaborative.

From a young age, I was drawn to the world of psychology. In high school, my passion for this field was recognized by the Dispatch, where I was featured as an inspirational teen. This early interest in understanding and connecting with people has only deepened over the years. I am a board certified clinical neuropsychologist, working with children, adolescents, and adults. If you or your child are having academic or work challenges, or if you suspect a learning disability, I can provide you with a comprehensive assessment that will give you a profile of your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and a diagnosis when appropriate. My comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations can be used to define the effects of behavioral and psychological concerns (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum, anxiety, depression), or of neurological illnesses and injuries (e.g., head injuries, effects of prematurity, Tourette's Syndrome) on each client's processing.
