Welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience working with diverse populations and clientele. I am passionate about working with children, teens and adult women age 5-40 struggling to cope with PTSD, anxiety, depression, phase of life adjustments and transitions, self esteem and self confidence issues, self sabotaging behaviors and emotion regulation difficulties.

Through my clinical experience I have noticed that societal pressures, peer pressure and unhealthy dynamics with others in the home, community and school settings have caused youth to rebel, often both internally and externally. Consequences of these behaviors can lead to impaired critical thinking skills, irregulated emotions and a lack of optimism of one’s ability to overcome barriers to a successful future. I utilize therapeutic interventions to empower clients and encourage them to recognize their untapped potential.

Home Remedy works well for families that: Are considering out-of-home treatment options, but aren’t sure if their child truly needs that level of care. Are transitioning bringing their child home from out-of-home treatment (wilderness therapy, residential treatment center, therapeutic boarding school, or the hospital) and would like support in that transition. Feel like like they are being held hostage or walking on eggshells in their own home. Feel like they've lost authority and the ability to parent within the family. Are worried about their child's safety at home and at school. Are struggling to parent a child with mood or anxiety symptoms that cannot be managed with traditional outpatient care.
