Library Access

Alumni can visit and use resources within Bobst Library. You must request access 48 hours in advance of your planned visit.

All alumni also have free, offsite access to a package of premium electronic resources thanks to a gift from the Class of 2006 and donations from Friends of Bobst Library. Learn more about the NYU eLibrary.

Class of 2024 graduates will continue to have full access to Bobst Library until August 15, 2024.

Save the Date for NYU Alumni & Families Weekend

Class of 2024 graduates are invited to attend your first reunion weekend, October 24–27, 2024, at a reduced cost. The weekend features a host of activities, workshops, and networking opportunities. We invite you to reconnect with classmates and other alumni throughout the weekend as you experience the largest alumni event of the year. Registration will open this summer.

Class of 2024 graduates will be invited to join NYU's 90+ affinity and regional alumni clubs for a series of special events welcoming you to the alumni community! The 1831 Fund

Fund an NYU dream by donating to the 1831 Fund! The 1831 Fund is a student-run organization that raises scholarship support for the next class of first-year, transfer, and undocumented students. $18.31+ donors will receive a commemorative glass and graduation cord (to be picked up during select senior week events).

Young Alumni Leadership Circle (YALC)

This is a recognition society for graduates of the last 10 years who make annual gifts to any area of the University. YALC's mission is to build NYU connections and relationships through philanthropy and engagement, all while developing future NYU alumni leaders. Members can learn from, network, and socialize with other recent alumni and University Leadership.

New Grad Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find information about NYU alumni benefits?

Visit our alumni benefits page, and be sure to check “Benefits and Services” section when updating your email preferences to receive information about exclusive alumni benefits, deals, and offers.

Can I still access my NYU email?

Yes. All alumni are eligible for an NYU email account powered by Google. Email addresses are in the format netid@nyu.edu (e.g. abc123@nyu.edu).

When will I receive my digital alumni card?

New grads who have requested them will be sent their digital Alumni Cards in June 2024. Otherwise, new requests for digital alumni cards will be fulfilled on a weekly basis.

Can I continue to access campus facilities with my ID card?

Unfortunately, the class of 2024 will no longer have campus access with the use of their NYU ID card after August 15, 2024. While graduates are eligible for an Alumni Card, it is not a University ID and may not be used to access University buildings. Because our Washington Square campus is in and of the city, space is at a premium and is reserved for use by current students. Details of campus access (which may require valid photo ID)—including Bobst Library and the athletic centers, access to the Kimmel Center and Campus Transportation, and access to the Wasserman Center for Career Development—are available on their respective websites.

How can I connect with alumni in my region?

NYU alumni clubs are run by alumni volunteers who wish to reconnect with New York University and with fellow alumni in their regions and/or interest groups. Alumni clubs recognize the power of building vibrant communities by creating opportunities to share experiences and traditions, and to network through events and programs
