A course in Public or Uniformed Services will help you to develop the confidence, resilience, and technical skill for a variety of career opportunities in this ever-changing sector. Fast-paced and highly rewarding, we aim to prepare you for employment within a wide range of divisions; from the Armed Forces, Police, and Fire Services, to the Civil and Crown Prosecution Services. Delivered by former industry professionals from the Police, Fire Service, NHS, and Royal Navy, you will have the opportunity to get to grips with modern practices through hands-on activities and off-site excursions. Last year, 79% of our students went into Further or Higher Education after leaving us and 18% went straight into employment.

- Today our Public Services students went to Loughborough Army Reserves Centre with 159 Regiment RLC. Our learners competed against each other in a series of tasks including weapon handling and stripping, command tasks and reaction test games.2 months ago
- Uniformed Protective Services students visited RAF Wittering where they were given a tour by WO Emma Hanson. They were introduced to several squadrons within the station and took part in STEM tasks. They also had a chance to look at a range of vehicles with 5001 squadron (engineering). - 32 Public Services students visited RAF Brize Norton where they were able to experience life on the busiest RAF base in the UK! 🇬🇧 Students were shown all aspects of being in the RAF, including a tour of the Fitness Centre with a PTI, typical accommodation provision, a meal in the Junior ratings mess and a visit to the officers mess. The highlight was going Airside and boarding a C17 Globemaster aircraft and being shown the cockpit by aircrew and the main body by a loadmaster. ✈️4 months ago

- We travelled down Thursday ready for an early start today (0500) doing a Royal Navy FOST training exercise with the Danish Frigate combatant. Students took on various roles to test the systems of the Danish Navy with mass evacuation. They were given a guided behind the scenes tour of the Type 31 frigate.8 months ago
