Last Friday marked the conclusion of the first-ever UH Clinical Research Summer Observation Program, and the students wrapped it up with a bang by presenting results from their very own “Mock Clinical Research Study.” In collaboration with the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative of Northern Ohio Northern Ohio, this weeklong informational and hands-on activity program allowed students the opportunity to learn more about clinical research and the various careers involved. The students had the chance to meet, interact with, and learn from various speakers and volunteers who play huge roles in different facets of clinical research. Yesterday we launched the second Research Fair and it was fun and informative! This event allowed research teams from different departments and other UH teams the opportunity to spread research awareness and share available resources at University Hospitals.
