#MINNESOTA -- The Biden-Harris Administration has kept its commitment to small businesses by improving access to capital and Administrator Guzman’s continued leadership of U.S. Small Business Administration through a historic period of economic growth. SBA Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed met with Saleem Karmaliani owner of Primrose Schools and childcare in Edina, MN and toured the facility. They discussed how President Biden’s *Investing in America Economic Agenda* supports small childcare businesses and diverse working families in Minnesota, especially and how childcare owners can receive no-cost business development assistance from both SBA Women’s Business Centers in Minnesota, given the SBA Womens’ Business Centers’ program additional emphasis to help strengthen childcare business operations.
👉 In recognition of the vibrancy of the small business ecosystem driving our American economy, Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed's visit at Primrose also included meeting Rob Appelhof Rob Appelhof onsite, owner of Cedar Creek Energy small business. Cedar Creek Energy supplied and installed Primrose solar panels at Primrose. Of note, both Cedar Creek and Primrose benefitted from SBA support and financing to support a green and energy secure economy. Deputy Administrator Syed also met with non-profit CDC lender for Primrose’s SBA loan Amplio Executive Director Jonathan Sage-Martinson.
