We're excited to share that we supplied Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) solutions for three new energy-efficient Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers at an Asian shipyard. Project Highlights:  🔹 Applications: FRP central raised walkway and bow coupling access 🔹 Design Specifications: IMO Standard, DNV T.A. Supplied:  ✔️ 750m approx. MARRS® and FRP Phenolic Handrails ✔️ FRP Phenolic Ladder and Safety Gates ✔️ 10 FRP Phenolic Staircases Our lightweight Bondstrand™ FRP structures significantly increased the payload capacity and efficiency of the vessels, reducing CO2 footprint and operating costs. Our early engagement allowed us to meet specific offshore and IMO standards, ensuring safety and durability. In total, our solutions saved 50 tonnes of weight across three vessels, optimizing operational capacity and ensuring long-term resilience against harsh marine environments.
