Our dedicated employees are the backbone of our Chicago pickle facility. Nearly 40% of the full-time employees have been with the facility for more than 20 years, and several will reach their 40-year anniversaries in 2025! Additionally, many employees have enjoyed professional growth and new opportunities during their time at our Chicago facility. “Out of the 10 of us on the Steering Committee (at our Chicago facility), six started in different positions within TreeHouse Foods. They were promoted or transitioned into their current roles,” said Javaun Price, TreeHouse Foods Chicago Plant Manager. Meet Alma Mercado, the training coordinator at our Green Bay, Wisconsin, facility. She has worked for TreeHouse Foods for more than 10 years, transitioning from a seasonal employee to a line leader to her current role as a training coordinator. "I like to work with people, and I like to help,” said Alma. “Training and teaching are ways to help people. We are helping people do their jobs correctly and, most importantly, safely." Our Delta, British Columbia, facility co-manufactures teas for our customers, so it’s only fitting we celebrate International Tea Day! Our Delta facility is a beautiful tapestry of international influences. Approximately 23 different countries are represented by the employees, and five different languages are spoken in the facility!
