About us
West Suburban Community Pantry (WSCP) is dedicated to providing food for those facing food insecurity, educating the donor community about existing needs, and supporting advocacy efforts for the hungry. WSCP works hard to encourage volunteerism and the sharing of resources. The Community Pantry operates year round serving the residents of DuPage and Will County. The Community Pantry’s goal is for clients to receive at least 136 pounds of nutritionally-balanced food each month, including meat and dairy. Last year, WSCP distributed 1.3 million pounds of food and served 40,000 persons, one-third of whom were children. Our Front Lobby is looking fantastic! Shout out to our Front Lobby Coordinator, Sam for setting up these decorations. At WSCP we are proud of our commitment to inclusion for all who visit. Did you know that at WSCP we communicate with our neighbors in 27 different languages through our usage of ILA Pros? It is one of the ways that we continue our work to break down barriers to food assistance.

We celebrate the joy and resilience of Black Americans while recognizing the need for further commitment to combat anti-Black racism.
