21/64 and the National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers (NNCG) are partnering to launch a national study to assess the practice of philanthropy by understanding the behavior and attitudes of grantmakers and the consultants and advisors who serve them.
As long-time leaders in the field, 21/64 and NNCG share an interest in developing an impactful practice of giving at all phases of philanthropic acumen. The field of philanthropy has changed dramatically in the past decade and is forecasted to continue evolving at a rapid pace. Both NNCG and 21/64 have acknowledged an increased visibility of the sector in a time of social transition, and we have identified several primary levers of change including financial growth of the field, leadership transition, expansion and breadth of consultants and advisors and a sustained role for philanthropy.
This is where you come in! Whether you are a donor or advisor to donors, we would love your input on our exciting national survey to gain valuable insights about the practice of philanthropy. We would love to hear your experience with how the field has evolved, how donors and their advisors are working together, what strategies are working, what you are learning, the challenges you face, and what role diversity plays in it all. As valued folks in our network, we want to hear your voices especially. The survey is open through May 31, 2024.
We cannot wait to share the results with you this fall, and stay tuned for more ways to connect on this topic later this year and beyond. Thank you in advance for your help!
